Pov: Meena

I walked in and her mother welcomed me with a hug.
-It's good to finally meet the person that Aoom is all in love with. They have arrived, come here and receive them- She screamed and Aoom's father appeared.
-Ah Meena, we are happy to welcome you - he said, extending his hand for a handshake.
- Hi. I'm glad to meet you- I smiled.- I brought a bouquet for you- I showed them.

- I told her that, but she insisted.- Aoom laughed.

Pov: Aoom

They looked like they were liking her, my mom dragged Meena to the kitchen and my dad stayed with me.
I looked at him searching for any kind of approval.
- She seems great Aoom.
Sudently my mom called us to dinner.
I sit beside Meena and in front of my mom.
- So Meena,- her mom starts- when did you decided to compete to Miss Grand?
She aswered politely to every question my mom asked. My dad was very quiet and that worried me, I didn't know why he was acting like that.
After dinner, Meena offered to help clean up the kitchen, but my dad called her.

- Meena, come with me, let's talk.
And so she did.

- I don't want to scare you ok? It's just, Aoom is my daughter and I don't want her to have her broken. Specially when it's obvious she loves you very much.
- I undersand Sir. But I really love her.
He gets up.
- Please call me dad.

That was unexpected.

When we get back Aoom starts:
- Dad what did you do?
Her dad looks at me and we both laughed.
- Don't worry about it.- I wraped my arm around her shoulder.

After that we kept talking and her mom decided to show me Aoom baby pictures. She was so embarassed. She was so cute, I mean she still is, but baby Aoom was so funny.

Pov: Aoom

My mom decided to show all my photo albuns to Meena and it was obvious she was amused by that.
I went to the bathroom and when I got out I heard a noise from my parents bedroom, I walked in to check if everything was ok but it was just my dad.
- Aoom wait, let's talk.
- Ahm sure- I didn't know what to say or feel exactly.
- It's clear you love each other, I really want you to be happy.
- I know dad. You like her.
- Yeah, I found out she's from my football club- he laughed.
I laughed too.
- You only like her because of that?- I teased.
- Well, that and you smile a lot when she's near. You look happier now that you are with her.
- Thank you- I hugged him- you have no idea how much you're opinion is important to me. - I stoped for a minute- Can I ask you something?
- Of course.
- Are you seriously ok with me dating her? Not her specifically, a woman. Are you ok with me dating a woman?- I breath.
- Aoom, of course. I don't care if you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. I just want them to treat you well and you to be happy.
I wipe a tear that was rolling down my cheek.

When I entered the living room Meena and my mom where laghing very hard.
This is the best I could ask. I look at the time and it's 10 PM.

- Meena, we have to go. It's late.

After saying goodbye to everyone Meena took me home.

- This was great, your parents are really nice.
- They loved you.- I smiled.
- Really?- I noded- I'm glad they did.
- I've never introduced anyone to them, they were excited- I giggled.
- Wait are you serious? Why?
- I've never wanted to.- I simply aswered.
- But now you wanted to?
- Yes, I did, with you things are very different. I mean can't you see? You're the person I love the most.
- Aoom you're also the person I love the most.- She kissed me.

I've never thought it was possible to love someone this much. But looks like I was extremely wrong.
