A voice had been calling out to me in the night following the death of Snoke and the appointment of Kylo. I knew it was dark, it was calling out to me in the shadows beckoning me to reach my final destiny. I did my best to ignore it, I tried my best not to sleep, I didn't want to hear that hideous voice in my dreams anymore.

I filled my days with my daughter, watching her grow filled me with joy each day her personality grew. Her smile kept me going through the growing darkness within me, she gave me purpose and a reason to go on. I didn't care that Kylo's new role took him away from us most days, the biggest thing in my life was her.

The voice started to disrupt me in the days instead, it's voice growing more and more intense until I couldn't ignore it anymore.

"You know what needs to be done." It urged me, filling my mind with the ruins of Vaders castle. "There you will find your destiny."

I went to find the knights in the training room, knowing that I could trust Ushar to keep my secret. I brought Lyra knowing he couldn't resist her.

I took him to the side, bouncing Lyra on my hip to keep her happy.

"I need your help."

His eyebrow raised. "I know you've been distracted Aurora."

"Can I trust you." I asked in a hushed voice.

He turned to the other knights. "You're dismissed."

We took a seat on the benches in the now emptied training room.

I turned to him, edging closer his presence was a comfort to me in this midst of turmoil. I knew that I needed for him to support my cause.

"I've been hearing voices." I began. "Just a single voice actually, it's showing me something, a place to find my destiny."

"Who is it?"

"I have no idea." I sighed. "With Snoke dead who else would it be?"

"Whatever it is, it doesn't sound good."

"Ushar, we need to find  the Sith wayfinder, it's our only hope putting an end to all of this mess and to restore balance to the galaxy."

Ushar looked at me carefully. "That is a very dangerous artefact, it's guarded closely. But if you need me to I'll help you."

I nodded, knowing that he was right this was an incredibly dangerous path that I was taking. It was going against the Supreme Leader, my husband. But I'd do whatever it takes to make the future of the galaxy safe for my daughter. I won't let her be forced down the same path I was, I wanted her to be free to make her own choices, follow whatever her heart desired.

"I know that I can't do this alone Ushar, but I can't ask Kylo he's too unstable right now."

"Of course." Ushar replied. "We're in this together, no matter the consequence. What do we tell Kylo?"

"We tell him that I want to visit my home planet Zembarr, that I want to find my family."

"That checks out." Ushar nodded "We keep this between us, I don't know if the other knights will be as discreet with Kylo as I can be."

That evening after I'd put Lyra to bed I waited for Kylo to return, as the door swished open I forced tears onto my face I sobbed quietly so that Kylo would see.

"Aurora, is everything okay?" He asked gently, placing my hand into his.

"I just miss them so much." I sobbed.

"Who?" He asked.

"My family."

I could see he swallowed hard, I knew this would make him feel turmoil, I'd seen how he missed his own family. I knew he missed his mother, he still felt the enormous guilt about killing his father. As much as he claimed he had, he truly couldn't just let the past die.

"Kylo," I began, my voice tinged with emotion to continue the charade. "I need to find my family. It's been so long since I've seen them, and I can't shake this feeling that they're out there somewhere, waiting for me. I need to know that they are safe."

Kylo regarded me with a mixture of surprise and sympathy, his expression softening as he reached out to touch my arm. "I understand," he replied, his voice gentle. "Family is important. You should do whatever it takes to find them."

I nodded, grateful for his understanding, even as guilt gnawed at the edges of my conscience. "Thank you, Kylo," I murmured, forcing a smile despite the turmoil raging within me. "I'll leave Lyra here, so I want some of the knights to stay behind."

"No, you will not go alone." His voice raised.

"I want Ushar to accompany me"

"Why him?" Kylo was suspicious.

"I trust him the most out of all of the knights, he has been there for me when the others weren't"

"Alright." Kylo sighed. "You are to keep me informed of your progress at all times."

"Thank you Kylo, I'm sure it won't take long."
