Hey everyone :)
This chapter is in another POV. Also, it starts off a little bit from last chapter. Again this is another 'filler' chapter, but an important one because it reveals so much about the POV's life.
West's POV (From Mads house)
"Time for me to go," I announced.
She scowled.
"You can leave whenever you want, I'll never ask you to stay back."
I rolled my eyes as I walked over to get my stuff, "You love me."
"Uhh no. You're a headache."
"Yet I'm the one that helped you with it this morning." I said with a smirk.
She rolled her eyes but she knew I was right. The girl was seriously dehydrated to the next level. I've known her for 18 years, my entire life, and I've never seen her properly drink water.
"You didn't even say thank you to me," I said, acting like I was hurt, clearly she showed no interest.
"Thanks," she muttered under her breath, looking away.
"Huh? What was that I didn't quite hear it." I said back holding my hand to my ear.
"Thank you for that." she says again quietly, not daring to look up at my face.
"No worries sweetheart." I winked.
"Don't ever call me that again." she says blushing, and tries to cover it up.
And no matter how much I didn't like her, that blush always got to me.
Then scrunches her face again, "I'll rather be called anything else by you, but that."
"Whatever, I think I'll stick to Mads." I says shrugging.
"Yea that, thank you Wessie." she says with a small smirk.
I smiled at her, which hadn't been done in a while since we loved pissing each other off.
The look on her face was absolutely priceless, she looked so surprised, and after a minute she started checking me out.
Which I don't blame her, I spent a good amount of time working for this amazing body.
"Can I press charges against you?" I say.
"Huh? What?" she says caught off guard.
"For eye-fucking me." I said in a boring tone, like it was the most obvious thing in the world, she rolled her eyes
"Just because someone is looking at you doesn't mean it's eye-fucking."
"Sure sweetheart, just stop before I start doing the same to you." I teased.
Fuck I loved teasing her, it was something I could do all day. I love that it got her all flustered when she was trying to hate me.
Both of our smiles dropped.
Everything was short-lived between us, and we fell into a comfortable silence.
Sitting across from Mads, I felt like we were in some strange limbo. The TV was on, but neither of us were really watching it. She was wrapped up in a blanket, not saying much. I wasn't exactly in the mood for anything either, so I just stayed quiet, pretending to pay attention to whatever show was on.
Out of nowhere, my phone started buzzing nonstop with messages. I frowned, glancing down at the screen and replying to a few of them.
It was our lawyer, David.
