Mads POV
First and second period were finally over and now I was at my locker. Today wasn't bad, not really.
Morning was great, thanks to a certain footie captain. Then I had design and materials first period and media second.
There had been times through out the day where I could feel the eyes lingering on me a little longer then usual. But I guess it didn't get any worse then that, not yet anyway. Since no one had really seen me and West together officially.
Unless Abby was hiding in the bushes watching us.
My hands moved on autopilot, shoving my books into the locker, but my brain was stuck replaying the morning. My friends had definitely caught on, but I hadn't denied or confirmed it.
Because even in my head, it still didn't feel real. Not in the way that mattered. Like, yeah, I knew it was real, I knew we were together now, but actually living in it was different.
The sound of footsteps approaching pulled me from my thoughts. I didn't even have to turn to know who it was. I could feel him before he said anything.
"Took your time, didn't you?" West teased and when I looked over, he was leaning against the lockers.
His uniform was slightly wrinkled and his hair was damp. I guessed he was coming back from the locker rooms after training.
I rolled my eyes, stuffing the last of my books away. "Maybe I just enjoy making you wait."
He made a low humming noise, stepping in closer. "Yeah? That so?"
I bit down a smile, focusing on making sure my locker actually locked properly. "How was training?"
"Not bad. The boys were slacking a little bit, nothing too bad, maybe just a Monday. But coach is loosing his shit for some other stuff."
I raise an eyebrow, "Why? Did he find out you were wasting your time flirting at the front of the school?"
He laughed, "No, though his reaction would be entertaining if that was the case. And please, there was no time wasting." he moves closer, "No time spent with you is ever wasted."
I shake my head, smiling, "I love your inner Shakespeare." I said, making him smirk. "So what happened then?"
He sighs, "According to him we aren't working hard enough and if we don't get our shit together on the field we are loosing finals."
I surprised that was the case. I wasn't an expert at that stuff, but from what I know, our footie team hasn't lost a game since the start of this year. They lost a game at the start of the season, and West lost his shit at everyone, and swore that he'd never loose a game again.
I tilt my head at him, "I think you'll do just fine West, but you should still try your best. I know your whole deal of never loosing another game again, but don't get too cocky."
He nods, "I know, I don't want to loose. Especially not the finals, after a year of winning." He runs a hand through his hair, "The camp thing is coming up, and I have to organise it with the other captains. So I'll be missing a bit of training then. I just hope the team doesn't take that as a break."
I narrow my eyes, "Your organising the camp?"
"Yea, and the other sports teams plus coaches, but they are really only there to make sure we aren't planting a bomb at the camp. They probably won't be at the actual camp."
I breathe a laugh, "So you know anything about it yet?" I ask.
He shakes his head, "Not more then you do, my first meeting with everyone is probably at the end of this week. So I'll find out then."
