PLEASE READ:

I keep getting comments about how slow progressing this story is, and how much the characters make mistakes.

SO FOR THE LOVE OF DEAR GOD PLEASE READ THIS:

When I started writing this story, I knew I didn't want perfect characters.

Real people aren't flawless; we mess up, argue, and have traits that annoy even our best friends.

And honestly, I think characters should be the same.

It's why I've written them with real, sometimes frustrating, personalities.

They're messy, they clash, and at times, they don't get along with each other.

That's what feels real to me.

I know that not every character will be easy to love.

Some of them will probably frustrate you, yes, even the main ones. They make mistakes, hurt each other, and hesitate to say how they feel.

Each of them has their own insecurities and grudges, and they don't always know the right thing to do.

And the side characters.

Jake, Cole, Lia and Em, are not just there to fill up space or prop up the main cast.

Even Zora, Jaxon, Megan, Kylie, they aren't props for the plot, they play a role that makes the main characters who they are.

This story's also a slow burn, and I know that can be a bit of a challenge to read.

It takes time for these characters to get where they need to be, and that's intentional.

I want them to grow on you, to make you feel like you're watching real people in messy feelings and relationships.

Quick, easy romance might be satisfying in some stories, but here, it just wouldn't fit.

I want their relationships to develop naturally, and you can see each character evolve, work through their issues.

That's why when I first thought of this story, I knew they would be messy characters.

They're flawed, they make bad decisions, they clash, and they're sometimes hard to understand.

But that's what makes them feel like actual people to me, and that's why I love them.

SO PLEASE. IVE ALREADY WARNED YOU GUYS AT THE START.

THIS IS A STORY THAT BUILDS. IF YOU CANT HANDLE IT. LEAVE.
