Heyyyy everyone! Sorry for the late update. I have exams coming up (year 9 is killing me lol), so I won't have much time to write. But thanks so much for waiting, I really appreciate it!

Big thank you to @AliXpert7273 for being such consistent reader! I love reading all your comments, they honestly make my day!

Alsoooo, I wanna know what YOU want to see in the next chapters! Got any specific scenes you wanna read? Anything you're dying to see? Let me know and I might add it!

It was way to late, and I was about to pass out from exhaustion.

Throughout the day we'd been messing around and being stupid. And now it was 11:50pm and I was so close to falling asleep, standing upright.

We had watched so many movies, I had too many snacks (food coma), and West had been doing an amazing job at giving me heat, comfort, and cuddles when he could.

We were trying — and failing— to be discreet about it. I literally melted when I was around him, I loved how safe I felt with him around, it made me want to keep him forever.

And I planned to as well.

The night had definitely stretched long, and the house was finally quieting down as we walked our friends out, saying goodbye.

Lia hugged me first, squeezing a little tighter than usual. And now I was reminded that this, — me and West— were still a pending conversation. And she wouldn't let it slide either, because she had definitely caught on. I mean I don't blame her, we haven't been very discreet.

"Try not to die of exhaustion before you even leave," she teased, eyeing the way I was practically swaying on my feet.

Em laughed, "Yeah, Madi, you look like you're about to collapse right here. When are you gonna leave then?"

I tried to respond, but my brain wasn't functioning at full capacity. Words didn't make it past my lips before West spoke, "She'll leave when she's ready."

I blinked. Our friends smirked.

Cole and Jake looked at him like he'd lost it.

Jake scoffed. "Uh, since when do you answer for her?"

Cole smirked. "Yeah, mate, what's been going on?"

West barely spared them a glance, his arm steady around my waist. "She's literally falling asleep standing up. I think I know when she's ready to go."

They all exchanged looks but didn't argue further. Because, well, it was normal now. Me and West.

Him answering for me like this. Him being the person I naturally leaned into when exhaustion took over. It had been happening a lot more then usual, and nothing about it felt weird.

Well maybe that's because we knew we were dating.

By the time we finally said our last goodbyes, I was beyond done.

My legs felt like jelly, and my head lolled against West's shoulder as we made our way upstairs.

West noticed and breathes a laugh, "Don't pass out on me Mads." he murmured, pulling me into a comforting hug.

I let myself melt against him, and that itself would've been enough to make me fall asleep if my body allowed it.

Everything about him in that moment. His messy hair, the loose wavy hair falling over his face, the way his muscles flexed against his shirt. It was such a tempting sight, that if I wasn't so busy being tired I would've pushed him into a room and made him finish what he had started this morning.
