Making their way at the backstage after their award performance the sisters were on a high , tired and sweaty from all the energy that they were putting on stage. They killed it as usual like they always do but Karen felt a little bit extra tired than she would be... she thought she didn't need to do all that and be extra since she was nearing 4 months.

Karen went to the back of the building wanting space from everybody and everything and got to the stairs that go to the roof of the building and she opened the door and just sat there.

Sitting there for a moment she thought she heard movement or a sound and she looked over it to see a woman dancing in a way with a joint in her hand. The woman looked so free and so relaxed she didn't want to disturb her.

As she was turning away to walk back she got stopped by someone speaking to her.

"Are you crazy?!" The woman asked and Karen turned to answer her.

"I just wanted some air up here and I found you here so I'm going back." Karen replied.

"Hey I know you, you're that crazy old lady who doesn't know how to drive... are you stalking me? " the woman asked Karen.

"I want tolerate you speaking to me like that! Now why would I stalk you? You could be stalking me why are you here? " Karen asked back.

"You know you're kind of gorgeous for a woman your age, " the woman  said and Karen got uncomfortable.

"And to answer your question , I am working doing good for my name and all." the woman said lightly to Karen.

"Is smoking weed and twerking around considered working nowadays? " Karen asked her.

"I was not twerking, it's just dancing... goodbye beautiful crazy lady. " the woman said throwing her joint on the floor.

Karen stood there hating how disrespectful the woman was to her, she didn't know who she thought she was. But she didn't want any drama right now so she sat there for about 20 more minutes for fresh air not wanting to go back down yet.

The event continued and Karen and her sisters were sitting there watching the award ceremony go on, and finally the sisters won their nomination of the night and the sisters got up to say their speech but Karen didn't do much and when they went backstage she told her sisters she wanted to leave cause she wasn't feeling all too well.

She was driven home and got there and got out her clothes and took a relaxing bath , she didn't want to rush off going to bed because she knew her sisters would be getting back soon. She offered that her sisters stay with her since she already had a big house to herself and it was no point of them wasting money on hotels when she had the room so they were with her until they had to go back home.

She really enjoyed having her sisters companies these past few days, Karen wasn't really used to being alone. She didn't mind it because she was a loner in a way but it also used to be her and Drew in an empty house. Now it was just her in an empty house and thinking about that made Karen cry, she couldn't believe her marriage was really over. She loved that man... was she supposed to fight for him harder? She asked herself everyday. One time in attempts to call him Drew answered the phone and yelled at Karen to stop calling him. And Karen did stop calling Drew although sometimes she would text him reminding him that she loves him.

"Karen!!! You sleeping?!!" Karen heard a scream from Dorinda downstairs as she was deep in her thoughts crying about her marriage.

"Karen!!" Dorinda knocked on her door.

"I'm coming Doe, just getting dressed." Karen lied so she can fix herself to not look like she had been crying.

"Alright , meet us downstairs we got you food alright?" Dorinda said on the other side of the door .

Karen was so busy moping around in her emotions that she didn't even notice that she hasn't eaten yet, which was really not good for the baby. She didn't even feel the hunger until Dorinda mentioned the food.

"Hey Kare-Bear what do you want to eat?" Jacky asked Karen who was about to sit down to eat.

"Ou everything looks so good, I want a bit of everything. " Karen said and her sisters looked at her crazy because there was a lot of food there that didn't really go along together.

"Karen slow down or you'll choke yourself to death." Dorinda sad to her baby sister .

"I can't help it Doe I'm hungry, and the food tastes so good oh my lord. " Karen moaned at how good the food was.

"If I didn't know any better I would say you're eating for two." Dorinda said , trying to tease her sister.

"Well I am... eating... for two. " Karen said shyly with her head down like she was embarrassed. Here she was as an old lady, pregnant and about to be single.

"Oh my God " was what she heard from her sisters.

"We thought Dorinda was wrong. " Twinkie said.

"What you mean?" Karen asked.

"Well Dorinda said that she thinks you're pregnant, she was busy going on and on about how you were glowing and all. " Twinkie explained to her sister.

"I just knew something was up... you can't be all that good looking while separated from the love of your life." Dorinda said and the rest of the sisters tried not to laugh at how she was speaking .

"You were being all fioone and juicy Karen I mean even men were gawking a concerning amount of time. " Dorinda added.

"Oh stop it Doe , I can't be all that with my depressed self. I haven't been doing anything. " Karen said.

"That's my point Karen... it's the pregnancy doing all the work for you." Dorinda said.

"So how far along are you? " Jacky asked

"I am 3 months... going on 4. " Karen said.

"Now Karen how you gonna go 4 months without telling us you're pregnant. " Jacky asked her little sister.

"I was afraid Jacky, I mean I'm 50 and going to be alone, I mean I know I planned the baby and all but I didn't expect to be going to raise a baby on my own. I had my husband then and we were happy and in our bubble. " Karen said.

"Well, does the bishop know about the baby?" Twinkie asked and Karen shook her head no.

"Karen!!!" Jacky said hitting her arm.

"Now you know you need to tell him!" Jacky said in a chastising tone.

"Jacky I was about to tell him before this trip and I just... I couldn't . " Karen said.

"He was on a date, the day I planned on telling him he was entertaining another woman... he's dating her, he's moved on. " Karen said about to cry her eyes out

"Wow, he moved on so fast?" Dorinda asked.

"DORINDA!' Jacky said.

"What? It is quick Jacky." Dorinda said.

"I thought it was quick also, I just want to keep my baby to myself for this time and when I'm ready I will tell him. I'm not gonna stop him from being a part of the kid's life I promise." Karen said

"But what If you need help while pregnant and you're all up in momma's house alone Karen?" Twinkie asked her.

"Well about that... since I want time to myself and every one of my kids is mad at me , I thought I should move here for a while. Come here to clear my head and then I'll go back home once I find a house I like." Karen said.

"So you're gonna house hunt online?" Asked Jacky.

"Now Karen you know that's wrong , you should be with your family when pregnant Karen. " Twinkie said.

"Twinkie I know how to dial 9-1-1 , I'll be alright, and I'll call everyday to assure you guys that I'm fine. I just want to be motivated right now... " Karen said.

"Well we'll worry about that when it's time, now let's enjoy this trip and finish all these performances so we can see what will go on... let's have fun!" Dorinda said.
