She was finally going home, they made her stay for two days in the hospital before they could discharge her and she just wanted to leave. Her new house was furnished, she made plans when house hunting for the past 5 months and she was glad she was smart enough to because now she didn't have any huge problems.

Karen gave the divorce papers to her son so he can take them to his father the same day, and it was final... she was finally a single woman and she didn't know what to think about that, the man was all she knew but she no longer had tears for him. She had cried enough for him and it cost her a lot.

She thought that maybe if she wasn't crying the day she was driving to the hospital then she could've seen the car coming towards her, she would've done something. But it was no use thinking like that since it already happened.

Kierra moved in with her mom so she was with her for the couple of days as she healed and she would be the one driving her around and helping her around. She didn't know if she believed that her mother cheated on her dad , she was a daddy's girl but she didn't really know if she believes what he believed. She saw how much pain her mother was in and she wished she could take it away from her even when her mother was trying to act strong.

"Mommy watch your step, you gotta be careful. " Kierra said walking with her mom inside the house.

"Kierra the surgery was two weeks ago, I can walk, I am fine." Karen said.

"No you're not, this house looks really good mommy... it is such a nice house. " Kierra said to her mother.

"Thank you, I'm very proud that it's mine too it's lovely. " Karen said as the two were looking around the house .

"Ma, why do you have such a huge kitchen!!!?" Kierra screamed.

"Kierra that's too loud!" Karen said.

"It's so biiiiig mommy!!" Kierra yelled.

"Kierra!!" Karen said.

"I'm gonna go pick a room." Kierra said running upstairs.

"The big one up there is mine and you know that!" Karen yelled back upstairs trying to take on the many steps as slowly as possible.

"Mommy the closet in your room is to die for... how you got clothes already in here? " Kierra asked.

"I got a little help from your cousins, Dorinda asked her kids to move my things from grandma's house and I guess Nikki packed them for me." Karen said.

"And that reminds me , I should go get more of my stuff from your father's house... he probably packed them all up in a box and I want my things really. "

"I'll get them for you mommy, I know you probably don't want to make contact with him."Kierra said.

"Please don't tell him the baby was his Ki, he already knows a lot more than what I would've told him if I were conscious during the whole thing. I don't think he would've even known I was in an accident if I had the say." Karen said.

"But mommy you do know that solidifies your cheating thing?" Kierra asked.

"Yes, I know. But Drew was already solid with it... he already believed it so it's not gonna eat me up. " Karen said.

"Alright , but you're going to have to take the room downstairs so you are not faced with the many stairs... this house is huuuuuggggge mommy. " Kierra said and they both laughed.

It felt good having her daughter back on speaking terms other than just texting , even though it tool a near death experience for it to happen... it felt like what she needed.
