Sora wasn't supposed to be in Shibuya that day. He was supposed to be home, enjoying his break from life, but the role of a lifetime - the...

"Sora!" Sora caught the can that was tossed in his direction. He took off without a single thought. He ran, avoiding the other players. Sora shouted Nobu's name, tossing the can to him when he felt outnumbered, but he had a plan. He took care of the men who were trying to keep him from running after Nobu. Sora caught back up to Nobu, motioning him to pass the can back over to him – he'd have thirty seconds to sprint from where they were to the main lobby. Nobu passed the can over, watching Sora run forward.
Sora slowed his pace as Tetsu and Kazuya slammed into other players. Sora jumped over Kazuya, dashing straight for the center of the room. He slid the can into its place, slamming his hand against it as his legs were grabbed. It was too late; Sora had won that round. Sora rested his forehead against the platform. He sighed with relief, even if he was now gonna be stuck in an elevator.
Sora stood up, looking across the way to Arisu. "Good luck." Sora walked off towards the elevator. Sora knew he should have stayed in the game for longer, to help out the others survive, but later on, he would have to make the decision about what to do.
Sora stood next to Sachiko, resting his hand on the railing. He began to watch the next few rounds – and the first two after he settled down in the elevator weren't anything interesting. However, they did lose Shion in the process. Even in the elevator, Sora and Sachiko could feel the shake of the building from the explosion. Sora couldn't watch; he turned his head away. Sachiko started crying at the loss.
During the next round, Rei won. She made her way to the elevator after her win – they still have five people out there, and not many chances left. They did seem to be on a streak when Tetsu and Nobu won their rounds right after Rei. There were only three cans left and three people left. They couldn't fuck these last three rounds up if each of them wanted to live. Except... Natsu didn't make it in that round, leaving only Arisu and Kazuya left.
"They're the last wo left..." Rei said as the others struggled with the loss of Natsu. Sora lowered himself to the floor of the elevator, shaking his head. Arisu and Kazuya had to play this right for both of them to win – but that was up to them. Sora watched when the next round began, swallowing harshly.
He really didn't want to explain to Usagi how Arisu died.
Kazuya went out of his way to make sure that Arisu won the round. Sora sighed with relief when Arisu pushed the can back into its place with single digits to spare. He placed his hands behind his head, starting to feel a little anxious about the final game that the Joker had up their sleeve.
The final round was Kazuya against everyone else who wasn't killed during the explosions. It was up to him to finish this game and continue onward. Sora's shoulder was Arisu's arm resting place as they watched the round. Kazuya looked at the other players who were waiting for him to win this final round. The can flew, but instead of flying in one of the offices like it had been, it dropped to the ground. Sora inhaled sharply. He should have realized that something like this would happen – but Kazuya was outnumbered.
