Sora wasn't supposed to be in Shibuya that day. He was supposed to be home, enjoying his break from life, but the role of a lifetime - the...

Sora sat on the floor, back against the crate. Yuumi had taken Sora back to where he was staying – he guessed five years really felt like ten or twenty to Yuumi. The place he called "home" was better decorated than Sora assumed. But then again, Yuumi had time to explore this version of Tokyo, and he could take anything he wanted without consequences. Yuumi's place was nice, considering how everything else looked. Sora was surprised that the Tokyo he was now used to since the explosion mirrored what he was seeing in the borderlands. "So, let me get this straight, up until three months ago, you were still playing the number cards?" Sora asked, sounding skeptical.
Yuumi nodded. "Yep."
"With no game master?"
"Mira?" Yuumi chuckled. "The games continued even after she died. The stakes were lowered, no more worrying about visas or anything like that. The games just got a little more... violent. But I assume that is because Banda and Yaba had a hand in things now." Yuumi stated.
Sora lowered his head. "I'm not surprised by them staying here. Those two seemed to be two peas in a pod after the Solitary Confinement game." Sora remarked. "I'm guessing Banda's the one calling the shots?" Sora asked.
Yuumi nodded again. "As far as I know."
"Who's the Joker?"
Yuumi laughed. "Fuck if I know." That wasn't helpful for Sora to hear. "I just live here and play the games. I don't need to know shit.' Yuumi stated.
As much as Sora didn't want to say anything, Yuumi had a point. He made the decision to live there, that didn't mean he knew everything. He just wanted to be confirmed dead and stay in the borderlands. "But you can still die in here."
"A risk I'm willing to take," Yuumi shrugged. He sat on the table he found, resting his arms on his knees. "You told me how you got here – tell me how life's been." Sora's eyebrow rose instantly. "You may have noticed, I don't have friends here." Yuumi said.
"No, what gave it away?" Sora asked sarcastically. Sora honestly didn't want to tell Yuumi what his life was up to in the last five years since the meteorite happened.
"Oh, come on." Yuumi pleaded. "I'm bored. We've got until sundown to find another game, so spill. What's going on with you? What happened to cause all of us to get here in the first place?" Yuumi asked.
"A meteorite."
Yuumi stared at Sora with a look of disappointment and confusion. "A fucking meteorite... - you know what, never mind, I don't want to know anything else." At least that shut Yuumi up, Sora really didn't want to talk about Chishiya with him. Yuumi didn't trust Chishiya when it should have been Sora who didn't trust Yuumi. That was another conversation for another day. Sora and Yuumi sat in silence for a while.
