Tim

If Aarons right, we're running out of time. Lucy's running out of time.

Without hesitation, I run out of my office and to a shop whilst everyone else runs behind me. Angela takes the drivers side and honestly I'm not bothered to argue, we don't have the time. I step on the ignition, and race over to the oil storage unit.

I just sit silent, praying that somehow Lucy's alive, or better she's alive, with David dead.

'ETA, 5 minutes!'

Thats too long. What if she's been stabbed or shot again? We don't have that kind of time!

'Can you go any faster? We might not have 5 minutes!'

She looks at me, and gives me a little nod. She preses her foot harder on the pedal, and the shop sped up.

'What's our ETA at this speed?' I ask, slightly yelling so that I can be heard over the roaring engine.

'1 minute!'

'Better!'

The next minute feels like forever. As I look out at the road, all I can think about is the 12th of September. The DOD. The day I pulled Lucy's lifeless body out of a barrel. What if today ends like that? It can't end like that. She can't go through that again. I can't see her like that.

Not again.

For the ride over, I'm in the shop with Grey since Angelas with Tim.

'Whats out ETA?' He asks me.

'Should be two minutes. We're right behind Tim and Angela.'

'Alright'

He pulls out his radio and presses down on the broadcast button while I step on the ignition even harder, trying to keep up with Angela's accelerating shop.

'7-Lincon-7 I need additional units to the location I'm broadcasting to your screens. I need them fast, we have a missing Detective and a life in jeopardy.'

I can hear the pain in his voice as he says that, but I'm not going to point it out to him. I know asking if he's okay right now will only make it worse.

Finally, I hit the breaks and our shop comes to a stop. The units Grey called in are right behind us, aswell as John, Aaron and Celina. Tim and Angela dash out of their shop, and taking the lead, they pry open the massive, metal door and rush in. We all follow close behind, clutching our guns in our hands.

'Lord prepare me for what we may see.' I can hear Grey whisper as he follows me in.

'Smells like oil all right!' Aaron says, attempting to break the silence.

'Yeah, oil and.. blood...'

I shoot him a cold glare. Now's not the time to try lighten the mood. Aaron knows that look and gives me a knod. It means you're making it worse, shush. He got plenty of those in his rookie year. Good times.

Grey steps out infront of everyone '

Alright, we need to search this place top to bottom, look for blood, clothing, look for any sign of Chen and-'

He stops what he is saying as Tim randomly runs off.

'Bradford where are you-' Grey calls out after him.

'Look. Theres another note for me.' Tim puts on his gloves and picks it up, bringing it back to us. He reads it out loud.

'Dear Boyfriend Bradford,
Congratulations, you're a better cop than I thought being able to get this close to Lucy! Sadly, well, at least for you, I'm smarter than Caleb, so good luck finding her!
I'm not a monster though so I'll give you a little hint! Lucy's sat in a barrel again! It's almost as if she loves them, considering she's now sat in one twice! Now I'm not going to be too generous so, good luck.
