chapter twenty five

Jungkook

I can see Bellatia getting nervous as the plane is about to land

Her hands are lightly shaking, and I'm trying to mind my business but I just can't hold back myself and I take her hand in mine

I read somewhere that she lost her grandparents on a plane crash while they were coming to celebrate Thanksgiving all together

She probably has that little fear when it comes to flights

Thankfully she doesn't push me away and just accept my attempt to comfort her silently

We didn't really talk to each other during the whole flight, and it was hella long...

Bellatia spent all twelve hours behind her PC, acting like I was invisible

Our last argument at my house put a lot of distance between us, and we barely talk to each other since then

I accepted to let her go back to her mansion  only she accepted to have guards inside the house, watching after her

She was reticent at first, but the idea of staying at my house for any longer was the little push she needed to accept

I see that she would really choose anything else instead of me

And I think I slowly step into acceptance and just give up on trying to create a better atmosphere for us and our future together

She doesn't like me and she never will

I messed up all my chances to rise in her esteem since the day I was born a Jeon

The mistrust and the hatred will never stop, and I kinda just accept it

I did a lot to deserve that anyway

I don't know how that marriage gonna make it, but I'm just gonna act like her now...

Detached...

I feel her fingers trembling under mine, I look at her, she has a straight face and her sunglasses hide her eyes , only her hands show her fear

I still remember when she ran to me with relief that night , after the incident in her mansion

She held me so desperately that she just made me wanna kill whoever was behind that

My team already tracked him, but since I had that spontaneous trip, I chose to focus on it instead and take care of that once I come back

We land safely, but once we go to pick up our luggages, Bellatia's didn't arrive

The staffs tell us that they gonna be in the next plane and they gonna send them directly to our hotel

I was the one to talk to them cause if Bellatia did, I know she would probably kill one of them

She was in a bad mood since we got in the plane and all the hours we spent in the nonstop flight for Japan didn't help at all

And her bags being left in LA, don't help even less now

I'm even scared of breathing too loud in her direction

I'm no better than the airport staffs, I'm also scared of her right now

Our hotel is only ten minutes away from the airport in taxi, so we made it very quickly

We check in and finally get access to our hotel room

I came to Japan many times, so I'm kinda used to everything here , but not Bellatia

Despite her bad mood she couldn't help but goes straight to the huge bay window to admire the city
