We get in the room silently, even his presence behind me feels like a threat

A threat to the bed and the sheets

" What were you doing at the hotel? " I ask so I can focus on something else

I'm smart enough to guide us to the large balcony instead of staying in the room

" I had a meeting with a business partner here...then before I leave I noticed your brother, I decided to stay a little bit longer instead of leaving ...I guess, I had a presentiment " he replies softly

" Thank you for earlier " I say

" I did what I had to do Bella "

We both remain silent for a moment, my eyes get lost in the panorama view I get from the balcony

I glance at him quickly

The wind is playing gently with his dark hair, making a discreet mess with a few strands

I wish it was my hand through his hair right now

" It's hard to be mad at you when you are looking this ...good " I finally say to break the heavy silence

His eyes widen for a second then a brief smile lights up his features

" Bella..."

" I want to be mad Jungkook...I want to be upset cause I'm hurt...you hurt me, you broke me , I wish I could be very very furious right now "

But here I am, thinking about my hand running through your hair

Thankfully I don't add that last sentence

" You can be mad at me love, I know I deserve it "

" Don't call me Love...how can you be calling me like that while you lied to me? Be honest, why did you marry me? For her? To get that revenge for her death ? To make Warren suffer by killing me ? "

I don't even realize when I start to yell

" Bella... it's... it's not..."

" Saying that you married me cause I wasn't marked in yellow in your father's list is bullshit, now you gotta tell me the truth "

" I didn't marry you to get revenge for Zhao... it's true "

I bite my lower lip, thinking about a reply, but I can't find any yet

He continues before I could start yelling again

" I know this would make more sense to you if I had only approached you for another intention...but I didn't marry you for that...I don't know what Warren or even Zhen told you, but it's been two years now since this accident happened, if I wanted to harm you, I wouldn't even have to marry you to do so "

He's not wrong though...
