I look up as i hear the discreet knock at my office door, i can see Samantha through the glass wall, but i know she can't see me cause it's opaque

'' get in '' my voice rises

My secretary walks in my office quietly with a bunch of papers in her arms

'' Miss Montgomery, Mr Miller cancelled the meeting for this afternoon, apparently he had an emergency ''

I remain expressionless , an emergency ? My ass...i know he just wants to make me wait as long as his power allows him

Anderson Miller is the owner of a big disco club chain, his customers are the most famous celebreties coming all around the world

There's four of his prestigious disco clubs, the principal and biggest one in LA, one in NY, one in Las Vegas and the newest one in Miami

But out of nowhere, he decided to sell all of them, he probably wants to invest in new fields

And based on how pretigious his bars are, his list of potential buyers is endless

And he probably wants to take his time to choose the most advantageous one to deal with

And i was one of the first ones in his list , and this motherfucker is trying to fool me for a better deal

Everytime we have a meeting to talk about my purchase proposal , he always finds an excuse to cancel it

I see clear in his game, but Miller knows damn well i'm the only one who can keep the Platinum Lounge Clubs standard intact

But of course, he had to put the offers in his balance

If i had all power on my inheritance, i'm pretty sure I would have weighed more in his balance

But of course...my father had decided otherwise

'' i got your reservation at La Lune for tonight for 9PM, and i sent your dress for the masked ball to your house already '' Samantha continues

She put a piece of paper on my desk '' and this is the balance sheet of the month for your investment at R&C ''

I give her a nod as a thank you and before she leaves, she says quietly '' oh, i know this is not really work related, but i think you might need to know that Mr Jeon...the son, is also now in the list for the Platinum Lounge Clubs deal ''

My eyes widen

What?

Samantha leaves before i can say a word, she knows best not to be on my paths when i'm upset

This asshole !

Of course he would be in the list ,of course he would want what i want

What the fuck is wrong with him?

I try not to hit my desk this time, i'm not going to let this man play on my mood everytime

Since he bought my brother's part of the company, i was waiting for him to come over or to do something or ask for a meeting

Cause even if i hate the idea of meeting him, we are literally sharing the lead of the Montgomery hotel chain now

But he never shows up nor even call

Like, he's not really interrested in the company, he just wants to piss me off

Now i have a whole 21% of my company that belongs to him

i hate Warren everytime i think about it

And Warren said that he sold his part to him cause he was the one who put more on the table
