Just like yesterday, Jiyeon put on her mask and cap as a disguise. She was grateful for the fact that he was by himself today.

The residences were informed that the bus would be having a service interruption that day, hence they would need to take other alternatives to commute.

As for Jake, he preferred walking rather than riding a cab since his house was not that far. Jiyeon didn't mind either since she often walk to school with Seoyeon.

Throughout his journey home, he could feel that someone was following him but he just shrugged it off.

Suddenly, he recalled the scene in class earlier involving his friends, causing him to close his eyes in annoyance, heaving a huge sigh before stopping on his tracks.

"Jiyeon."

The girl accidentally let out a loud shriek, totally not expecting the guy to find out that fast.

She fastened up her pace so that she could stand next to him. Upon feeling the girl's presence next to him, Jake turned his body around, facing the shorter girl.

He was about to say something when the girl quickly opened her mouth.

"I'm not following you! This is the way to my house too!" She tried defending herself.

"What's with those mask and cap in this hot weather?" He questioned the girl, raising his eyebrows.

"M-mask?" Jiyeon widened her eyes due to the question and quickly took of her mask and cap. Without the presence of a mirror, she didn't even realize that her hair was a mess after taking off her cap.

Jake just stared at her clumsy state before continue walking, followed by the girl.

"You might want to adjust your hair." He plainly said, not looking at her.

Upon realizing what he meant by that, Jiyeon quickly fixed her hair. She was so embarrassed that she repeatedly cursed herself softly while fixing her hair.

She might think that he couldn't see what she was doing but due to their close gap, he could clearly see and hear her actions.

Jake bit his bottom lip, preventing himself from smiling upon seeing her responses which appeared to be funny in his eyes.

"By the way, Jake." Jiyeon spoke, trying to bring up a new topic.

"Don't think you owe me something?" She asked, slightly tilting her head, trying to look at the taller guy's face.

Jake turned his head to look at the girl. He pointed at himself while raising his eyebrows, confirming with the girl if she was talking about him.

"Hm." She nodded in return.

"What did I owe?" He questioned.

"I lent you my book, don't you remember?" She questioned back.

"I returned it and thanked you, though?" He tried to fight back.

"And you think that was enough? I kinda saved you from humiliation!" She protested.

Jake just sighed in return.

"What is it that you want?" He just gave in, not having the energy to argue back.

"Hm..." Jiyeon pretended to think when in fact, she already planned everything in her head beforehand.

"Since tomorrow is weekend, let's go out with me!" She suggested.
