"Jiyeon.." Seoyeon sighed in disbelief.

"Just this once!"

Seoyeon closed her eyes, forcing a smile before taking the plastic bag from her friend's hand.

"I'll update you if anything." Seoyeon spoke.

"Thanks! Seoyeon, you're the best!" Jiyeon clapped her hands before side-hugging her bestfriend.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's get into class. See you later." Seoyeon replied, patting the latter's head before they both walked separately towards their respective classroom.

Seoyeon got into her classroom, eyes scanning for one particular person. She walked towards his direction when she found him talking with his friends at the back of the classroom.

The group of boys stopped talking upon seeing a plastic bag in the middle of the desk. They raised their heads almost at the same time to look at the person who placed the plastic bag there.

"It's for Jake. Eat it. Don't you dare give it to somebody else." Seoyeon threatened him before walking towards her seat.

"OoOoOOo Seoyeon, is this the way you confess your love?" Sunghoon teasingly said while nudging Jake's arm.

"Shut up. It's not from me." Seoyeon replied short, unbothered by the teasing from the boys.

"Who is this from?" Jake finally asked, taking the packaging from the desk.

"My friend, Jiyeon."

"I'm not sure if I know her but, Sunghoon you can have it." Jake replied, placing the packaging on Sunghoon's desk.

"Tell her I say thank you." He added, looking at Seoyeon before turning his body to the front, getting ready for the first period of class.

Sunghoon turned his attention towards the girl, sending her a pity look. Seoyeon glared at him, signaling him to give back the pastry to Jake.

Sunghoon rubbed his nape before tapping his friend's shoulder.

"I think you should eat this. It's macaron, your favourite right?"

Jake raised his eyebrows, looking at his friend before making eye contact with the girl who sat behind his friend.

"It's okay, you can have it. You like it too." Jake reassured his friend, turning his attention back to the book he read just now.

"And Seoyeon. You don't have to threaten him like that as if that would change my mind." He added.

Seoyeon just heaved a sigh, worrying about what her friend would feel later.

Jiyeon pouted upon hearing the update from Seoyeon.

"It's okay. Maybe I should try harder." She spoke, while clinging onto her friend's arm.

"What? Don't you think you should stop approaching him?" Seoyeon replied.

"Let me try a little a bit more hehe."

The girls were making their way towards the cafeteria for lunch. While they were queuing up, they were approached by a group of boys.

"Hi Jiyeon!"

They both simultaneously turned their heads towards the voice.

"What do you want Sunghoon?" Seoyeon asked, crossing her arms.

"Hey Seoyeon, didn't see you there." Sunghoon replied, not bothered to look at the latter.

"Thank you for the macaron, it was good!" He spoke.
