"Jiyeon."
"Hm?" Jiyeon turned her head to look at her friend, who was at the convenience store, doing her shift.
"Can I ask you something concerning Jake?" Seoyeon asked in hesitant as her voice gradually lowered as she spoke. She took a seat in front of her friend who was currently eating her kimbap.
Jiyeon just raised her eyebrows before nodding.
"Go on." She spoke while munching her kimbap.
"Do you still hate Jake?" Seoyeon questioned.
"Hm." Jiyeon responded with a nod.
"How much? Over 10." Seoyeon asked further.
"Hm... seven?" Jiyeon replied after taking her time thinking.
"What about the other three percents?" Seoyeon enquired, leaning closer to her friend.
"Of course I still like him. He's the only person I've ever liked in my whole life." Jiyeon spoke, shrugging her shoulders.
"So you still like him?!" Seoyeon reacted, half shouting, failing to hide her contentment.
"Hey, lower down your voice!" Jiyeon responded, slightly hitting her friend.
"Are you sure you don't want to hear anything from him?" Seoyeon asked.
"I mean, you guys never talk about your relationship at all after everything happened." She added.
Jiyeon sighed before putting down her kimbap onto the table.
"What's there to talk about? He made it clear that I'm not his type." She responded.
"Plus I'm busy. I have no time for that." She added.
Seoyeon just nodded out of disappointment.
"Why? Is there anything I need to know?" Jiyeon suddenly asked upon noticing her friend's reaction.
"No! Not at all! There's nothing you need to know!" Seoyeon responded, trying to cover up.
"You're being suspicious, you know? But it's okay. I'll let it slide." Jiyeon replied before sipping her drink.
"Jiyeon."
"Hm?"
"How about we go join them for lunch. Just one time." Seoyeon suggested.
Jiyeon took her time to think before responding to her friend.
"Okay." She said.
"Yeah, I already predicted that you didn't want- Did you say okay?!" Seoyeon widened her eyes upon hearing her friend's response.
Jiyeon nodded in return.
"Why?" Seoyeon asked out of curiosity.
"You don't want me to go?" Jiyeon asked back.
"No, I mean... I thought you don't want to see Jake at this moment." Seoyeon explained.
"I feel like you really want me to go. I don't know what's on your mind but the way you acted tonight gives me enough reason to go." Jiyeon replied.
"I see." Seoyeon replied, sheepishly smiling at her friend.
"Tsk, go back to your work before I change my mind." Jiyeon said, chuckling at her friend.
********************
"I'm sorry I'm late." Jiyeon spoke upon arriving at the restaurant. She stopped in front of the table, scanning for a vacant seat.
