[The sticks were baffled at the sudden appearance of this outworldly being in front of them. The light was blinding, and the overwhelming sense of devastation began to flood the room like a plague.]

Connor: Oh no.....

[He turned to the others, who were a little shocked, but other than that, they seemed perfectly calm about the situation. Chosen ran ahead, his eyes now covered in courage.]

Chosen: I think that's our cue to leave! I don't know who that guy is, but he clearly knows where we are. We need to go before he alerts the SSO that we're here!

[As the others nodded in agreement and began to race up the ledge, Connor ran in front of them and blocked them from a misty wall. Chosen growled at Connor, getting tired of him at this point.]

Chosen: Connor....Move. You don't know what's at stake here. If this weapon is being created as we speak and has that kind of power, we need to do something about it!

Connor: I agree. But the rules have changed. The SSO has made it so that if anyone leaves the facility, they are to be killed....

[Victim's eyes widened, disgusted by the new information. His company really has fallen into nothing. His eyes trembled before he clenched his fists and shoved Chosen back, making Chosen stare with shock and confusion.]

Victim: [ " If you came here just to give us your story, that's not enough for you to get in our way. You were once my favorite worker, and you always worked so hard to please others rather than yourself. " ]

[Chosen grunted, his eyes narrowing as the others simply waited for Connor to move. They listened to Victim, noticing that he was no longer the patient and wise stick that he was before. All this mention of his old company was getting to him, and rage was starting to boil inside of him. They couldn't blame him, though. This was indeed a mess.]

[Connor couldn't argue with him either. His eyes were soft as Victim complemented him of his duties back at the company. But Victim's eyes showed a burning rage that he'd kept in since the dawn of this entire situation. But still, his words weren't really offensive.]

Connor: I-.....Thank you for that comment, but I can not let you pass through this wall. I realize that I am to be killed by my old job.....I don't think....I don't want anyone else to get hurt by the company. We've suffered too much already.

Victim: [ " Your concern is indeed apparent, but you have to understand the dangers here. If this project is released, more people will surely get hurt. Along with the fact that the SSO is hurting other people just to get the best results. " ]

[Connor sighed for a moment before looking back up to Victim.]

Victim: [ " You followed us to a place that we can not waste time in. And now that this thing knows where we are, we don't need the SSO to find out about us either. So either you move aside or you help us. " ]

Chosen: Help? Why do we need help from an SSO employee?

Victim: [ " He's a former employee...and as I said, he didn't quit because he was forced to. You heard him, and you heard me. " ]

[Connor was baffled that Victim was so tempted to see him help them. Considering he was also a target now, he started to consider helping. He then looked down at Rexxy, who was suddenly unafraid of the beings and waddled up to Victim, waving as Victim smiled.]

Victim: [ " Rexxy seems a lot better than I remember....I'm sure you've been taking care of him? " ]

[Connor's eyes softened as he smirked.]

Connor: It's the least I could do after he became so petrified and scared.....I felt so helpless before.....Seeing him get hurt every day..... No matter what I pleaded, they wouldn't answer me...
