(TW: Blood :>)

[Second wasn't sure why they had to go through this strange area to get to training. It was ominously dark, and the scurrying of red tarantulas was driving him mad. Not to mention the random holes of lava that erupted into lava geysers every now and then.]

[Second jolted every time they erupted since each eruption was so random. Dark didn't seem bothered by it, of course. His hands were behind his back, and a bunch of spiders were scurrying around his feet excitedly.]

Second: You know......for an evil warlord who wants nothing but power and control, you really don't have any shame in showing it...

Dark: .......Why should I hide what I am....? And- why did you make that sound so out of place?!

Second: I don't know....because you're not really as angry as you were before. Nor are you as demanding. Did dying change your entire persona?

[TDL was holding back a growl as his eye twitched slightly. He then took a deep breath, stopping in his tracks as Second stopped a few ways away, staring directly at Dark with caution.]

Second: ....What?

[TDL didn't say a word before he raised his hand slowly, his eyes glowing red, alerting the spiders around them. Second grunted softly, eyeing the spiders hissing as they marched slowly towards him.]

Second: What are you doing?!

[Dark slowly turned to him, smirking rather calmly. His eyes didn't show aggression, so Second knew that this was something else.]

Dark: Second, you can't trust everything your eyes see, nor can you trust everything your ears hear. You look at me and think that I've changed simply because I perished...

Second: But....that is true, right? You said you had no point in killing me...- Y-you said you wouldn't....

[Dark dashed in front of him, a cloud of dust trailing beside them as Second cowered, his arms over his face as his eyes were shut tight in defense. But as soon as he cowered, he heard the spiders scitter away and slowly opened his eyes, panting softly.]

[He then looked up to Dark, who was glaring down at him with that plastered smile still. He then gently patted his head, confusing Second completely.]

Dark: I don't know how to be a teacher, but helping you get to your awakened form won't be an easy task, I bet. So, we're gonna have to start from the basics.

[Second lifted himself up, slowly getting out of that cowering state as he huffed angrily at Dark.]

Second: Why did you say all that just to give me a heads up? You made it sound like you were ready to kill me....

[Dark chuckled slightly before he turned his back to him.]

Dark: I was just preparing you, bud. You're all bark and no bite. But I'm gonna change that in the first lesson. Anger and Control.

[Second raised a brow slightly before he saw Dark turn around and slap Second, making him yell.]

Second: OW! HEY?!

Dark: In order to find your true potential, you have to let go of the things that held you back. Your heart is pure, and it's only allowing you to control so much of your power. Considering how your power has reacted in the past, it only reacts to high levels of pain, sadness, or grief.

Second: Then why did you slap me?!

Dark: Like I said, Anger and Control...

[Dark slapped Second again, making him yell once more before he growled at him.]
