It felt like the entire university had turned up. They had used the outside basketball court, allowing for more seating. It was seven at night but it was still light, the sun shining down on them. The audience were already slightly restless from the heat, taking their jackets off and settling in for the beginning of the game.

Similarly, the players were all hot too. Inside of the locker rooms they were thankful for their uniforms - shorts and tank tops. Though they were too preoccupied with the thought of the match to worry about anything else.

Jungwon was tying his laces, foot lifted onto the bench between the lockers, when he huffed, "How am I supposed to play in this heat?"

Well, maybe Jungwon wasn't too worried.

"We've played in the rain before Wonie." Heeseung laughed, reminding his boyfriend.

"I'd prefer the rain." He argued. "Sunghoon agrees, right, Hoon?"

Looking over to him, all Jungwon found was Sunghoon staring into his locker. Once again he called, "Sunghoon?"

Still, there was no answer, no indication that Sunghoon even heard him despite being so close. Jungwon laughed as he noticed the others turning towards Sunghoon as well, calling his name one last time.

Finally, Sunghoon flinched, closing his locker so quickly it created a loud crash. He looked up to the rest of the group with wide eyes, taking a quick breath as he asked, "Y-yeah?"

It wasn't that Sunghoon was ignoring his friends, or not paying attention. Though he hadn't heard a thing that had been said so far. It was just that his mind constantly seemed to drift. It was driving him crazy. It was like an endless loop of question and answer and more questions and less answers.

He kept thinking of Dae and he didn't understand why.

He kept thinking of their relationship and he didn't know why.

He kept thinking of Sunoo and he didn't get it.

"Park Sunghoon?"

"Hmm?" He snapped out of it again, hardly even realising he had begun to drift.

Jay chuckled, shaking his head, "Are you nervous?"

"No." Sunghoon sighed without thinking, breathing, "Just thinking about Dae."

"Oh?" Ni-ki teased, lifting his brows.

Sunghoon rolled his eyes at the older, the smallest laugh falling past his lips. He lifted his own foot onto the bench only to realise he had already tied the laces.

"I wish I had a Dae to think about." Jay sighed, adding, "It's almost offensive how long I've been single."

Laughing, Heeseung reasoned, "You wouldn't have to be single if you went out of your comfort zone to meet new people."

Jay pulled a face of disgust, whining as he shrugged, "I'll just steal Dae from Sunghoon instead."

Finishing, he looked over to Sunghoon with a teasing smirk, ready for the younger to scold him like he usually did when he playfully flirted with Dae. However, all he found was Sunghoon pulling at his shoe laces and tying them again, like he was in a trance.

Narrowing his eyes and blatantly staring at Sunghoon, Jay continued, "Hmm, I think I'll ask her out after the game." Still, Sunghoon didn't respond. "Yep. Just walk right up to her and ask." This time, when Sunghoon only nibbled on his bottom lip, Jay proposed, "I think I'll even ask her to marry me. Maybe have a few kids and-"
