Wooyoung walked through the bustling halls of his university, dodging students and trying to balance his phone between his shoulder and ear. He had a big grin on his face as he heard his best friend Mingi's voice on the other line.

"Yo, Wooyoungie, how long till we can finally reunite and wreak havoc together?" Mingi's deep voice boomed through the phone, causing a few passing students to give Wooyoung a weird look.

Wooyoung chuckled, "Bro, you sound like we're in some action movie or something. Chill, it's only been two years since we've seen each other. Only one more year to go."

"Yeah, but it feels like a freaking century, man. I miss you and our shenanigans." Mingi whined, the sadness evident in his voice.

Wooyoung's heart warmed at his friend's words. He missed Mingi just as much, if not more. "I know, bro. But we'll be together soon. Just hang in there."

"Ugh, fine. But just know, I'm counting down the days till I can see your beautiful face again." Mingi joked, causing Wooyoung to burst out laughing.

"Beautiful face? Did you hit your head or something, Mingi? I thought you were the pretty one in our friendship." Wooyoung teased, earning a loud groan from Mingi.

"Shut up, Wooyoung. You know I'm the handsome one." Mingi quipped back, both of them knowing it was a running joke between them.

They continued their playful banter as Wooyoung made his way to his next class. Mingi asked about his day and how his classes were going while Wooyoung complained about his never-ending assignments and exams.

"I swear, the professors must think they're the only ones teaching in this university. They keep piling on the work like we don't have a life." Wooyoung grumbled, his tone mockingly serious.

Mingi snorted, "I know, right? Like do they even remember that we have a social life and need to catch up on our K-dramas?"

Wooyoung laughed, "Exactly! And what about our endless supply of snacks? How are we supposed to survive on just ramen and instant coffee?"

The two of them continued their silly conversation, oblivious to the curious looks from their fellow students. To them, it didn't matter. As long as they could make each other laugh and forget about their worries, that was all that mattered.

Finally, Wooyoung reached his classroom, signaling the end of their call. "Well, bro, I gotta go. Class is about to start."

"Aww, already? But it feels like we just started talking." Mingi whined.
"I know, but we'll talk later, okay? And don't worry, we'll reunite soon and cause chaos once again." Wooyoung promised.

Mingi's voice turned serious, "Yeah, and this time we'll take on the whole university, bro."

Wooyoung couldn't help but laugh at Mingi's determination. "Alright, bro. Talk to you later."

"Later." Mingi replied before hanging up.

As Wooyoung settled into his seat, a smile stayed on his face. He was grateful for Mingi, his quirky and sometimes crazy best friend. No matter how far apart they were, their bond remained unbreakable. And as they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder, but in their case, it just made their friendship stronger.

He quickly took his seat and prepared for the lesson to begin. As the professor started their lecture, Wooyoung couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that the end of the day was finally near.

As the lesson went on, Wooyoung couldn't help but feel a bit distracted. He couldn't wait to get out of the stuffy classroom and enjoy the freedom of the outside world. Finally, the bell rang and Wooyoung gathered his belongings, ready to head out.
