As they stepped into the house, Wooyoung couldn't help but marvel at its opulence. The spacious rooms were adorned with elegant furnishings and tasteful decor, a stark contrast to the modesty of his own home.

San gestured towards the living room with a small smile.

San: "Make yourself comfortable, Wooyoung. I'll put Jiwoo to bed."

Wooyoung nodded, still taking in the grandeur of his surroundings. He gently set Jiwoo down on the plush sofa, watching as she stirred slightly before settling into a peaceful slumber.

As San disappeared into another room with Jiwoo, Wooyoung took a moment to soak in the tranquility of the house. Despite its beauty, there was an underlying sense of melancholy that hung in the air, a reminder of the recent tragedy that had befallen their lives.

Wooyoung's thoughts drifted back to Hyejin, the woman who had been taken from them far too soon. He felt a pang of sorrow for San and Jiwoo, left to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives.

But amidst the grief, there was also a glimmer of hope. In the quiet moments they would share together in this house, Wooyoung knew they would find solace in each other's company, offering comfort and support as they embarked on this journey of healing and recovery.

Wooyoung glanced at his phone as it rang, seeing Yunho's name flashing on the screen. He quickly answered, grateful for the familiar voice on the other end.

Wooyoung: "Hey, Yunho. Yeah, I made it back to Korea safely. It's been a whirlwind of emotions since I arrived."

Yunho: " I understand. I hope the funeral went well. Hopefully San is doing well right now. It must be hard for him."

Wooyoung: " The funeral went fine but honestly the entire time, I felt pity for San. He didn't deserve this all."

Yunho: "No one deserves to lose their loved ones. It must be indeed difficult for him to keep up with this all. How are you doing right now?"

Wooyoung: "Just fine. I hope I'll be able to help him throughout this time. I want to forget my past and help him without any harsh feelings towards him."

Yunho: "I'm glad to hear you're okay. And I appreciate the fact that you're ready to start fresh with him. He is really lucky to have you there with him. How's everything going over there? Are you with San right now?"

Wooyoung: "Yeah, I'm at his place. It's been tough for him, but he's holding up as best as he can. Jiwoo, his daughter, she's such an angel, Yunho. My heart aches for them."

Yunho: "I can only imagine. You're such a good brother, Wooyoung. I'm sure your presence there means a lot to San."

Wooyoung: "Thanks, Yunho. It's the least I can do for him. How's everything on your end? Anything exciting happening?"

Yunho: "Not much, just trying to keep busy with work and all. But hey, if you need anything while you're there, don't hesitate to reach out, okay?"

Wooyoung: "Thanks, Yunho. I really appreciate it. And thanks for checking in on me."

Yunho: "Of course, anytime. Take care, Wooyoung."

Wooyoung: "You too, Yunho. Talk to you later."

With a sense of gratitude for his friend's support, Wooyoung ended the call, feeling a little lighter knowing that he had someone to lean on even from afar.

San settled down next to Wooyoung, the silence between them heavy with unspoken emotions. Eventually, San broke the ice.

San: "So, how was life in Canada? Did you have any interesting experiences?"
