The next day, Risa stood outside Yunho's house, her heart fluttering with a mix of excitement and nervousness. She dialed his number, her fingers tapping anxiously against her phone.
"Hey, Yunho," Risa greeted, trying to keep her voice light. "I'm outside your house. Want to hang out today?"
There was a pause on the other end before Yunho's voice came through, sounding apologetic. "Hey, Risa. I'm actually with Mingi right now. We made plans to hang out today. Can we catch up later?"
Risa's heart sank, her excitement quickly turning to disappointment. "Oh, I see. Sure, whatever," she replied curtly before hanging up, not waiting for his response.
Standing there, she felt a wave of regret wash over her. Her thoughts raced, questioning everything about last night. Maybe she had made a mistake getting close to Yunho, letting him take her first kiss. Doubts gnawed at her—perhaps he wasn't serious about her or their budding relationship.
As she walked away, the events of the previous night replayed in her mind. The kiss had felt so right, yet Yunho hadn't said anything about what it meant. The uncertainty left her feeling weird and uncomfortable, second-guessing her decision to open her heart to him.
Risa found a nearby park bench and sat down, staring blankly ahead as her thoughts continued to swirl. She had hoped for some clarity from Yunho, some acknowledgment of their new connection. But his casual dismissal this morning made her feel as if she had misread everything.
She sighed deeply, wondering if she should have confronted him about her feelings instead of leaving things unresolved. The uncertainty weighed heavily on her, and she couldn't shake the nagging fear that she had made a mistake.
Sitting alone on the park bench, Risa's thoughts turned darker, anger and frustration bubbling to the surface. She couldn't believe Yunho had made her feel so vulnerable and exposed, only to disregard her the next day.
"He should be grateful," she muttered under her breath, her anger rising. "The daughter of Fumiya Kawasaki actually kissed him last night, and he doesn't even care."
The more she thought about it, the more infuriated she became. "How dare he make me look like an absolute weirdo? Does he think he can just brush me off like that? Who does he think he is?"
Her eyes filled with tears, and she furiously wiped them away, but they kept coming. "I trusted him," she sobbed, her voice cracking. "I let him take my first kiss, and he just... doesn't care."
The tears flowed freely now, her anger and hurt mixing into a torrent of emotions. She cried furiously, feeling betrayed and humiliated. Every memory of their friendship, every moment they had shared, felt tainted by Yunho's apparent indifference.
As she sat there, crying uncontrollably, Risa's heart ached with the weight of her disappointment and confusion. She had opened herself up to Yunho, and now she felt like she had made a fool of herself. The pain of feeling unloved and unimportant to someone she cared about deeply was almost too much to bear.
That evening, Risa arrived at Minji's house, her heart still heavy with the turmoil from earlier. Minji greeted her warmly at the door, sensing that something was off but waiting for Risa to open up.
"Hey, Risa! Come on in," Minji said with a smile. "Wooyoung couldn't make it, but Yunho and Mingi are on their way."
Risa forced a smile and nodded, stepping inside. Minji led her to the living room, where they settled on the couch. Sensing Risa's unease, Minji gently asked, "Is everything okay? You seem a bit off."
Risa took a deep breath, her emotions threatening to overwhelm her again. "Minji, I need to tell you something. It's about Yunho."
Minji's eyes widened with curiosity and concern. "What happened?"
