"I'm not normal. My wolf is willd, he came early to protect me and carly. its been seen, but first we need to go get our wolves for me and Carly and ashley"

He talked like an adult again but for some reason that didn't faze me. I grin slapping my hands together

"I get one too, really?"

"Yes you da princess, da royal family gets dem for guards"

I scrunch up my nose at the word princess

"Stop calling me a princess it's weird"

"It's what you aar Ashlee. It's been seen"

Mum still looks completely confused, Scott's jaw hasn't moved from the table, Jaxon looks a little more put together but you could see the worry in his eyes. Maddox didn't really give a shit, he was more concerned with his food like Carly was and I was on the fence.

"You have seen a lot then huh?"

I ask the obvious questions that everyone else seems too shocked to see.

"Yess. But it's ok not all are impotent. It's like I got 2 brains. One do nomal stuff and da odaa sees lots of stuff so I stay in ma nomal brain mostly unless at training when I learn to fight in ma mind"

He takes another bite of his food and smiles

"Dats all I seen until we see da wolves"

We all pick at our food, unable to fully eat. Maddox was clearly still out because his table manners we're abysmal and after a few minutes i get sick of it

"Maddox let mark out now"

"No, he's too shocked to eat and I'm hungry"

I roll my eyes and lift his chin he has sauce running down his face I grab a napkin and clean him up he grins at me

"Let him out for a second and if he's not going to eat you can come back out and finish"

He pouts like a bad child and shakes his head

"Nope"

He pops the 'p'

"Maddox do what your told right this second"

"Or what mate?"

He smirks at me like it's a challenge. I cross my arms over my chest and I flick his nose

"I won't let you have dessert for a week"

Carly gasps beside me

"She means bidness. Do it maddox's tonight mummy makes her cake"

That instantly lightens the mood, making everyone laugh. Maddox smiles at her

"Your a wise pup"

"Well duh"

She says, rolling her eyes and taking another bite of her food. Maddox smiles at her then at me and he sighs

"Fine. I love you mate"

"I love you too Maddox"

His eyes change and Mark comes back. He smiles at me

"He wasn't blocking me out he really just wanted to eat and I lost my appetite but he's ate enough now"

I smile and nod, eating the last of my pancakes and then I lift his plate and mine and bring them to the sink. I start to clean up quickly before taking a coffee and heading outside to smoke.

We took our own car to meet the wolfman and my parents took the kids in the jeep. We pull up outside what looks like a large dog kennel. I look to mark and he shrugs
