"The poison, we need to cut it out"
I don't wait for permission. I cut into the gash and black goo slowly started to drain out. I use my hand to scoop it out
"Make sure it doesn't spread Lucy"
Her jaw was slack as she watched it come out of her frozen in place. Maddox growls through my lips starting to panic
"MOVE IT NOW!"
he shouts at her making her move and starts to hold the poison back so it can't spread any further. I cut into the other gashes as her flesh starts to die in front of my eyes
"Help me get it out now!"
I tell the doctor, she too is standing frozen in place
"If you don't fucking move she's going to die! NOW! Or I swear you will be the first in line when I go on my damn killing spree"
I tell her through gritted teeth as I continue to work pulling the dead flesh from her body. Lucy had stopped it spreading as nan bursts in through the door
"What do you need me to do?"
Maddie follows after her
"Stop it from spreading. Maddie come help me get it out of her"
She doesn't stall, she just jumps in to help me cut the dead flesh from her body as nan helps Lucy heal her
"Hey what's happening? What the fuck?"
Scott rushes into the room as tears burn at my eyes, Maddox howls in pain and I can feel her life leaving her but I couldn't stop it! I couldn't give up not until her last damn breath

Not even then!
He growls, pushing his aura out to lend me the extra strength I need to work on her. Her skin was dying in my hands
"Fuckkkkkk why is it still spreading!"
"I don't fucking know!!!"
Lucy cries as tears start to fall from her eyes
"Don't you stop! Don't you fucking stop! Not until she is stable"
Jaxon roars at the doctor who had paused. She nods and starts to cut the flesh of her body.
"Fuck fuck fuck!"
Scott drops to the ground wide eyed and panicked. I couldn't focus on that. I needed it out of her
"Nan, what do you see? Is there much more?"
"It's nearly gone, your doing good son just keep going"
"Oh my what in the hell happened"
Mum comes into the room looking at the gruesome scene in front of her as my heart slowly starts to break.
"Sophie help stop the poison from spreading"
She does what she's told as I push her forward so I can get to her back. I started to cut the flesh off her back and around her ribs but thankfully with mum's help the dying flesh stopped spreading. We carve away the flesh at her back but then her heart started to slow
"Fuck fuck fuck no! Ashley, don't you leave me! Don't you fucking dare leave this world without me ever! Please please baby no"
My heart starts to shatter as Maddox howls and whimpers in my head
