"Crow NO!!! That's our father you can't eat him or anyone unless I tell you to"

He whines climbing off him and baring his teeth slightly then he returns to my side. I chew on my bottom lip helping Noah to his feet.

"Sorry we are still learning"

"You got a wolf? Damn he's big"

Sophie said frozen in place I chuckled and pulled her into a hug as Mark climbed out of the car. She gives me a huge bear hug

"Damn I missed your face kid"

"I missed you too"

I answer back then I pull Noah into a hug. His hugs even bigger as he lifts me off my feet and squeezes me tightly

"Did you guys miss me?"

Mark says behind them, they both wag their hands at him

"Meh maybe a little, but your boring ashley is always funny"

I grin at Noah as he puts me down and he gives Mark an awkward side hug.

"See I told you everyone loves you more"

Mark looks genuinely offended making me giggle I point to crow

"This is crow, my guard"

"Is he one of Baylee's?"

"Nope, Carter and Carly's"

They look at each other frowning

"They are 2 why would they need a pack"

I snort and walk past them, they followed us in to the coffee machine

"They might be 2 but Carter is already a king, damn he can read people's minds from across a field, commanded Mark to kill someone and sucked in his soul. He said he has 2 brains. One is normal and the other is always working and he can jump into people's minds and stuff. I don't know but he chose my new guards because he's always checking the future. Kids cool as hell"

I say shrugging, I'm still damn proud that I was chosen to save him.

"Yeah I'm sure he will tell you when he gets here, we also have another problem"

Mark tells them everything that we need and by the end they were both clearly disturbed and anxious.

"We should send maddie to the island"

Sophie tells us I frown looking to mark, I watch as Maddox pushes forward

"No I want her as beta"

Noah groans rubbing his face

"No mark we have already had this conversation, she's only 14"

"I'm not Mark, I'm maddoxs and she might be 14 but she's better than all the warriors and the only one we can truly trust."

Sophie shakes her head, her face is like stone

"Hell no, she's a child and she will remain a child until she is the age then you May have her as beta but until then she stays away."

Maddox growls a menacing growl, surprising me a little, Noah and Sophie look a little shocked as Maddox slowly stalks towards them.

"I am Alpha and I will have her as beta"

Noah growls pulling sophie behind him, they were basically nose to nose

"No I am alpha, you will be but not until I say so"

He throws his aura at Maddox but Maddox doesn't even flinch, Maddox throws his aura back and I swear it was like a wind whipped around us tainted with darkness, shaking the chairs and ground below us and sending both Noah and Sophie to their knees
