Chapter 62- I Don't Wani Live Without You

Hey everyone! It's that time of the month again! Wani Spend Is back in action and back with another chapter! This one is the conclusion to the Birthda- Ahem, Hatchday arc for Luna! This next following chapter is something that I know some of you may enjoy because it's a Mia chapter! I really enjoy writing about Mia, especially with how complex and different she is now after growing up since Wani ended off. July 19th 201M B.C 2028 (Later on in the same day.)

The hospital setting is usually a place that should offer relative comfort. They try their hardest, despite the circumstances, which can be seen here. On the far side of the wing where most of the patients, who are currently recovering, stay, there were not too many extreme disturbances from the current residents in the block. The only things that were to be heard were the occasional carts wheeling with medical supplies; a large hospital bed, sometimes with patients and while mostly gone unoccupied, being towed to a different sector; and the occasional chatter between nurses and doctors as they scrambled to their next location of interest.

So, as a whole, it would have been a relatively normal day in the hospital-nothing out of the ordinary was currently happening at the moment, save for the booming, screeching voice of a mother that had almost lost it all. "What do you fucking MEAN that you lost her!? Is that all you have to say to me, Vincent!? You LOST her!? Look what happened to her! Look at what ALMOST happened, Vincent! She was in YOUR care, YOUR hands, and she almost died because of your pathetic scrawny ass!"

Taking the full brunt of Mia's absolute hell-flame wrathful vengeance, Vincent has his hands up in a calming manner, trying his absolute hardest to deescalate the situation but to no avail. "Mia, please. You have to understand me here. There was this guy an-" He is immediately shut down when he is pulled closer to his angered girlfriend, never having seen such rage in those eyes before. His voice could only sputter out in a pathetic whimper when he was literally lifted off the ground, eyes glaring into his soul by the larger, stronger parasaur mother. "I heard you the first time, Vincent, but I don't give a single shit about that fucking imbecile! You should have had your eye on her at all times; that's why I trusted you with her! She looks up to you as her father, her ACTUAL father! And what did you do? You. Weren't. There!"

Even though he was shaking, Vincent wasn't scared at all in the slightest. He was feeling immense shame in himself for not doing the single most important task that Mia had given him. She trusted him to look after her baby, no matter what happened. Rose meant the world to her, and at the realization that she could have almost died today, it sets her off to a soaring height of anger. "You have no idea how scared and heartbroken I was to hear from the hospital that my babygirl was here! She had almost drowned, Vincent! Where the fuck were you, you moron!? Was that fucking idiot more important than MY babygirl!?"

Even though he knew it was futile and rather horrendously stupid, Ben chimes in from the side nervously, raising his hand to fix his crooked frames as he tries to cover for Vincent. "Mia, look, Vincent and I were being antagonized by that speciest family that wanted-" Ben stands deathly still when she sets the human down and focuses her rage on Ben, now grabbing him by his still damp shirt and hoisting him against the wall. He was deathly terrified because he saw a spark of the old Mia he encountered when he had come to St. Hammond for the first time, before they even knew each other.

However, this wouldn't lead to an eventual relationship because he was sure he was about to be thrown out the window down the hallway that had multiple rooms connected to it-he could see several patients and doctors peeking out of it, not daring to get in the way of a heated mother. "And where the FUCK were you, Benjamin!? Were you getting a goddamn blowjob from Lunara in the bathroom stall, huh!? Not enough time to look after your own daughter because you were getting a quickie in the back stall with that whore, you asshole!?"
