A few hours into london, walking into the roads admiring the sun and the buildings around, Oliver checked the time once every few turns they took, making sure they wouldn't be late to the train. "Oh, would you like to come and visit my home? i'd like for my parents to meet you." Iris said, asking curiously as they took a turn near Leaky Cauldron.
Oliver went red, he was surprised. "Oh, why?" He asked, his hands shaking. he thought of it as something like, introducing your boyfriend to your parent-- but again, there was no label in this situationship, just two teenagers assigned to be leaders in Gryffindor. "I told my mother about you in letters, you were this annoying little stinky skunk."
"Then I'll prove you wrong. I'll make your mother favour me. Oliver threatened, his color going back to normal; the both of them wouldn't have thought of getting closer together if it wasn't for that one mission.. or simply guiding each other everytime they're injured.
Oliver opened the large mysterious dark door that led to a pub full of people in beers-- possibly staying nights into the inn. "Ladies first." Oliver said, letting Iris walk in first, before following and closing the door behind them, the wizards and witches didn't mind at all as the two of them passed.
after minutes of walking, Oliver and Iris arrived at the station on time, everybody was settled in their compartments, talking to their friends or sleeping inside. "Every trunk is full. have percy told you where they're at?" Iris said, looking left and right. "We would've been there by know if I've known." Iris rolled her eyes at oliver's response, by the end of the train, there was one last compartment, filled with missing trunks on the other side of the seats, while the other side was completely cramped. a huge suitcase covered the left window inside the bus.
Oliver slid the door open, seeing the available seat on one side of the compartment and went it, followed by iris. Oliver sat by the window to the outside, Making iris red from madness. "Did everyone ever tell you I always get window seat?" Oliver stayed quiet and looked at her with raised eyebrows. Iris waited a few more seconds to see if he would give up to give her the space, sadly not.
"If you're that desperate to see the full view then sit." Oliver demanded, Iris raised an eyebrow, waiting for oliver to move to the right side of the seat, "Hm?" he said, patting his lap.
"You're nuts." Iris went red and sat herself beside him. "View's nice and clear here anyways." She defended.
after minutes of silence, iris started to doze off, especially because they both have woken up early just for oliver to make it up to her. Oliver felt something heavy yet soft land into his shoulder, the girl had dozed off into him, her mouth was open, dripping with drool while she snored.
"You sleep so ugly." He insulted the unconscious girl.
eventually, Oliver fell asleep aswell, it was a rainy morning today. oliver slept with one eye open, making sure the girl was comfortable. he rested his head ontop hers to secure-- and wrapped his arm around her to caress her back.
A few hours later, the train came to a stop in 9 3/4 quarters, where the station was filled with parents, finding their children's compartment. Iris felt a hand tapping her right shoulder; oliver's hands. she looked at oliver, removing her resting head on his shoulder. "Mornin'." Oliver smirked, helping Iris get up.
the two shoved themselves through the crowds of Irish and British parents, waiting for their children at the exit of the train, after a few minutes of walking, they had sent their stuff back into their homes, 'i'm afraid we'd have to fly from here to our home."
; which was in the middle of the woods. Wood was a little scared that a woman, alone was leading him to the woods, yet he was manly enough to come. "Are you sure you're not leading me somewhere scary?" Iris laughed as her hair flew back, showing her bare face. "Maybe. i think father's home."
Wood's heart dropped; he was never good with other adults, of course, unless they liked a sport named quidditch, then he was in to it.
a few more minutes, they have arrived at a large garden, a house with a huge porch barely with lights inside was seen, the house was made out of bricks, black frame windows and white door. Iris knocked on the door loudly. about 3 minutes of the girl screaming, "Father! Open the door!" louder and louder each time she said it.
"Sorry, he's deaf-toned." Iris said softly before returning to screaming, finally the door opened, revealing a slightly older man with squinted eyes and nerdy eyeglasses. "Would've known by the screaming, the little brat's home." He rolled his eyes, before returning to wood. "Who might this young man be?"
"He's oli-"
"Oliver wood, quidditch captain of the Gryffindor team." the man raised his eyebrows out of interest. "Come in, do you drink wine? beer?"
"Dad, were both sixteen." Iris said, calming her father down. "I'll bring him an energy beverage. ill be right back." The girl who was jumpy disappeared out of sight, leaving the two men in the living room, in silence.
"My daughter's boyfriend? I pity you."
