In the dead of night, Dabi finds himself once again navigating the silent streets, a chill wind biting at his skin as he hurries to fulfill Hawks' latest craving. It's become a routine of sorts, these late-night excursions to satisfy the insatiable appetite of his pregnant lover.
Tonight, it's raw meat that Hawks desires, a primal urge that seems to have taken hold of him with increasing intensity as the pregnancy progresses. Despite the late hour, Dabi doesn't hesitate to venture out into the darkness, determined to provide for his partner in any way he can.
Everyone awes. Touya swats toga and Fuyumi away who grin cheekily at him "Have you gotten soft nii-san?"
"Shut up!" He yells annoyed.
As he prowls the dimly lit alleys, Dabi can't shake the feeling of unease that settles over him. There's something primal and wild about the whole situation, the way Hawks' cravings seem to tap into a deeper, more animalistic part of his nature.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity of searching, Dabi finds what he's looking for—a small butcher shop tucked away in a forgotten corner of the city. The flickering neon sign casts an eerie glow over the scene as Dabi slips inside, the bell above the door chiming softly in the stillness.
Inside, the air is thick with the metallic tang of blood, the scent overwhelming as Dabi approaches the counter. With practiced ease, he selects a variety of meats, carefully choosing the freshest cuts to bring back to Hawks.
But as he turns to leave, a sudden noise catches his attention—a low, guttural sound emanating from the back of the shop. Curiosity piqued, Dabi makes his way towards the source of the noise, his heart pounding in his chest.
What he finds there stops him dead in his tracks—a sight so shocking, so unexpected, that for a moment he can do nothing but stand there, frozen in disbelief.
There, in the dim light of the kitchen, stands Hawks, his talons extended and dripping with blood. His eyes gleam with a feral intensity as he tears into a piece of raw meat, his movements fluid and predatory.
Some let out horrified gasps.
"Scary..." Tokoyami whispers but does not look frightened at all, more intrigued.
"My baby does not need to see that!" Keigo yelps embarrassed, covering his sons eyes who squawks in protest.
For a moment, Dabi can only watch in stunned silence, the reality of the situation sinking in with a sickening sense of dread. This isn't just a craving—it's something deeper, something primal and instinctual that seems to have taken hold of Hawks' very being.
And as he stands there, transfixed by the sight before him, Dabi can't help but wonder what other secrets lie hidden beneath the surface of his enigmatic lover's persona.
"To be honest, I was turned on."
"Touya!"
"Ew, dad!"
As the weeks pass and Hawks' pregnancy progresses, Dabi begins to notice subtle changes in their shared living space. At first, it's just small things—blankets draped haphazardly over furniture, pillows piled in odd corners—but as time goes on, the signs become harder to ignore.
One evening, as Dabi returns home from a long day of gathering intel for crusty hands, he's greeted by an unexpected sight—a tangle of blankets and pillows strewn across the floor, arranged in a haphazard pile that seems almost...nest-like.
"Awe, look at you nesting like a bird." Mirko coos. Her best friend blushes once again embarrassed.
"You don't know how many times I've had to suppress my instincts to drag Fumikage into the nest with me." Keigo sighs tiredly. Tokoyami looks at his mentor, eyes wide with surprise.
