"Next you'll watch something that might be a bit hard for difficult for you to see. afterwards I'd like Touya or Keigo to explain the circumstances of the scene." the dimension princess says.

It's silent for a while, everyone still horrified at what they've just seen.

Hato is pale, shaking. "Why did you never tell me?" he turns to ask his parents, sobs breaking his voice.

Keigo takes his son's hand in his and wipes his tears away. "Because you didn't need to know that, and your father didn't mean it."

His father side-hugs him from the other side. "Yeah, and the bastards at the commission forced your mother to kill Twice."

Hato sniffs and smiles, but then looks confused. "Wait, mom, what do you mean dad didn't mean it?"

"Well..." Keigo starts, trailing off.

Touya sighs. "I'll explain."

Keigo protests. "No, Touya honey, you don't have to."

Touya insists, "I want to." Turning back to his son, he takes a deep breath and begins, "Sometimes, I have these episodes. They overwhelm me with intense emotions and a bloodlust-like state. I lose control, my judgment clouded, and I act in ways I don't intend. Unfortunately, during the Paranormal Liberation War, one of these episodes occurs. It leads me to confront Keigo in a way that harms him. It's a struggle I face, knowing my actions can have dire consequences, especially for someone as important to me as my husband and mate. Despite my love for him, these episodes challenge our relationship. I'm always striving to overcome them and be the partner he deserves."

"Awe Touya!" Keigo thrills happily at his last sentence.

Hawks groans as he sits up, every movement sending waves of pain through his body, soreness evident in every limb.

His eyes widen as the events of the previous day flood back to him—Dabi's attack, the chaos of battle. Frantically, he searches the hospital room, his distress evident in the urgent chirps escaping his throat, disregarding any potential consequences from his handlers.

A tired voice emanates from the adjacent hospital bed. "Why are you so loud, songbird?"

Hawks jerks his head in the direction of the voice. "Touya?!"

"Hey, Kei," Touya responds, his voice hoarse but gentle.

Noticing the quirk-canceling cuffs chaining him to the bed, Hawks' concern shifts to his mate. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" he asks anxiously.

Touya's eyes widen incredulously. "You're asking me if I'm hurt?! I burnt you! Why aren't you angry at me? Breaking up with me?!"

Tears well up in Hawks' eyes as he recalls the moment. "You weren't yourself. You couldn't control it. And remember what I told you, red-tailed hawks mate for life!" Hawks smiles through his tears. "You're stuck with me forever!"

Just then, the door creaks open, and a nurse enters, eyeing the villain cautiously while checking Hawks' vitals.

"How are you feeling today?" she asks with a kind smile.

"Sore," Hawks replies honestly.

"That's to be expected. I don't know who healed everyone on that battlefield, but I've never seen anything like it! You show signs of severe burns, yet you were almost immediately completely healed," the nurse remarks, her astonishment evident. "I've never seen a healing quirk of this magnitude."

As she prepares to leave, she turns back. "Oh, before I forget, Todoroki-san has been asking for you, Hawks. Do you want me to let her know you're awake?"

Hawks' eyes widen with realization. "Yes, please."

A few minutes later, Rei Todoroki enters, carrying Hato. She freezes upon seeing Touya, tears slowly trickling down her cheeks.

Touya is equally frozen, uncertain of how to react. It's Hato's worried chirps that break the tension, drawing awe-filled coos from the onlookers.

Rei offers a soft smile to her grandson. "Don't worry, Grandma is okay," she reassures him before handing him over to Hawks, who accepts him gratefully.

Hato's chirps transform into happy sounds upon seeing his mother. Keigo responds in kind, showering his son with affectionate chirps. "My baby! I missed you so much!"

"Mother—" Touya begins nervously, but his words are cut off as Rei throws herself into his arms, sobbing and apologizing repeatedly.

Slowly, Touya reciprocates the hug, his arms wrapping around his mother. "It's okay, Mom. You don't need to apologize."

Once they've all calmed down, Rei settles into a chair between Keigo and Touya's beds, and they begin to catch up, the air heavy with emotion and relief.

An hour later, the door slams open, jolting the three occupants of the room. Standing in the doorway is Shoto, his breaths coming in heavy gasps, as if he rushed over the moment he woke up.

"Touya-nii!" he rasps, throwing himself at his older brother.

Touya's initial surprise quickly melts into a warm embrace, reciprocating Shoto's hug.

Before long, Natsuo and Fuyumi also appear, joining the impromptu family gathering, and soon it's a tight-knit group hug.

A joyful squeal interrupts the moment, catching the attention of the Todoroki siblings. Hato, squirming in his mother's arms, extends his tiny hands towards his father. He hasn't even had the chance to hug him yet!

Once again, the room erupts into awe as Setsuko teases her cousin, whose blush deepens even further.

"Calm down, dove, you're ruining the moment!" Keigo playfully chides.

Touya chuckles, a warmth spreading through him. "It's alright, give him here." With a gentle nudge, Touya frees his arms from the group hug and reaches out. Rei assists in bridging the gap between the two bedridden partners, transferring Hato from one parent to the other.

Hato lets out a contented sigh, nestling into his father's embrace.

Meanwhile, Fuyumi and Shoto watch the heartwarming exchange with wide eyes and gaping mouths, momentarily speechless.

The brief silence is shattered as each sibling voices their complaints about not being informed, while Natsuo merely laughs, admitting he already knew.

The theater erupts into laughter.
