Chapter 6

*still Y/N's Pov*

"So what did you want to tell me baby?" He asked. The way he called me baby, it had it effect of me. I liked it.

"Um can you come with me" i said. He nodded and i held his hand and took him to my special cave. There was no noise from other people and we could talk without anyone seeing me cry or anything.

We finally made it to the cave and we were sitting down on a rock and our feet were feeling the water.

"My parents are getting a divorce and i know its because of me" i said. He put his arm around me and kissed my head.
"You can't blame yourself because of their problems-"
"But Nate i am the cause of their problems my dad already moved out"
"They were having their own problems and you're blaming yourself to have an excuse to know, but things like that happen, sometimes the love that was once there disappeared but it has nothing to do with you Y/N"

His words were comforting, it was true i always heard my parents fighting and i blocked myself from their screams with my headphones i just blamed myself because I couldn't think of another reason why they were fighting.

We were just in comforting silence for a while. Nate's presence was starting to make me feel better it's their life and i have to make mine.

"Nate can i ask you something?" I said before i could forget and also i wanted to stop worrying about my parents.

"Course you can"
"Well my cousin is getting married and i was wondering if you wanted to be my date?" Yeah it's a while away but he would get a chance to meet my mom and pick out a tux.
"I would be honored" he said. His answer made me smile and he leaned in to kiss me. He held my face and our lips moved in sync. Each second that went by the kiss got more and more passionate. His tongue asked for permission and i let him in. We fought for dominance and he won. We pulled away for air and our foreheads leaned on each other.

"Come on i want to take you somewhere" he stood up and helped me up .

Once we got to the beach he told me to hop on his back and he gave me a piggy back ride to the pier. I could always forget about my problems with Nate... i felt happy, truly happy. The world was only me and him.

We were gonna go on the ferris wheel but Nate wanted cotton candy first so we got a blue one. Our favorite color. Now it was our turn and the sun was setting. I love sunsets they are so breathtaking especially here in LA.

We were at the top of the ferris wheel enjoying the moment.

"Y/N i love spending time with you. I love that you're such an easy person to talk to and you're funny and beautiful and smart. I have feelings for you and i hope you are maybe feeling something for me too. I just want to say that ever since the day we met I can't get you out of my head i want to be with you every second of the day and i hope you feel the same way. You just ignite something inside of me. I love the feeling and i never want it to go away. I guess what I'm trying to say is...Y/N will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled so wide I was in shock but i felt so happy.
"Yes"
I threw my arms around him and kissed him passionately. The second we pulled away he smiled so widely and stood up. "Nate what are you doing?" I asked nervous that he was going to fall.

"SHE SAID YES!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs and people all over the pier turned our direction and clapped for us.

We got off the ferris wheel and went on other rides for a while.

"C'mon i want to introduce you to Nina"
"Okay" i said.

Nina lived in an apartment next to Nate's restaurant as we were walking there he told me all about her. She's basically part of his family and became like a second mom to Nate.

(At Nina's Apartment)

Nina-"Well I'm really glad Nate found someone that makes him happy"
Y/N-"thank you, and you are such an incredible woman so hardworking and beautiful"
Nina-"aaw you're such a doll"
Nate-"well im gonna walk Y/N home"

We said bye to Nina and started walking to my house.

"I liked Nina she's super sweet" i said
"Yeah she is, she's like my second mom" Nate said and looked down. I gently grabbed his face and made him look at me.
"Nate I'm not gonna pressure you to talk about something you don't want to but you can trust me i'm always gonna be here for you when you need me you know that right?"
"I do baby it's just i'm a guy I'm not used to you know opening up much"
"Well when you are I'm gonna be here and i'll always be willing to listen"

We got to my house and he hugged me tightly. When we pulled away from the hug his right hand was firmly on my waist while his left was on my cheek. He bit his lip and was looking down at me. He was 6'2 and i was looking up as he leaned down and kissed me. I loved his kisses i never wanted them to stop. I felt myself being lifted and i popped my leg as he spinning me around during this sweet passionate kiss.

We pulled away after a couple minutes and we had to say goodbye. I watched him slowly walk away and i walked back inside.
