Chapter 26

*Y/N's Pov*

"Do you want to move in with me?" He asked.

I was in shock. I didn't know what to say. Are we moving to fast?
"Nate, I-"
"I mean you don't have to. I just-i just thought that i mean, I'm not living with my dad anymore and i know you don't like living with your mom, and I maybe i thought-"

I kissed him, stopping him from his rambling i wrapped my arms around his neck and forced my tongue into his mouth. He immediately relaxed and his arms went around my waist. He was talking too much and i know he didn't know how to put things into words because he was so nervous. Moving in together is a big step into our relationship. I slowly pulled away to give him my answer.

"I'd love to" i said and leaned in for a short kiss again.
"I love you" he whispered leaning his forehead on mine.
"I love you too" i whispered back.
"Want me to take you home so you can pack?"
"You'd need to wait outside though or my mom would go crazy on us."
"Okay. Let's go." He grabbed his keys and we walked out.

It's been 20 minutes and I'm still trying to build up the courage to walk in and start packing my stuff.
"Nate maybe we should do this when she's not home." I said.
"Are you sure babe? Either way you have to face her."

I looked at Nate and back to my house. My hands were squirming around in my lap and my stomach was turning. I mean she's the one that doesn't want me here anymore right?

I sighed. "I'll be right back.
"And i'll be right here." Nate squeezed my hand comfortingly and i kissed his cheek.

I slowly made my way up the front porch and to the door. I was so nervous but this had to be done i inserted the key, twisted the knob and carefully opened the door and made my way inside.

"Yes i mean she's just wasting my money, she has no job, she's not going to school. Her father left us and sometimes i wish i'd never had her" i heard my mom say to the phone. My heart shattered, i knew she hated me but I didn't know it was to the point she regretted me. I felt my eyes tear up and i wanted to scream at her i mean i want to hate her like she hates me but I can't, she's the mother i got.

I swiftly ran upstairs to my room and opened the closet. I took out a big pink suitcase, one i never even used. When i was eight, my father promised us to take us to Cabo and i went and got it with him so it fit all my clothes and my dolls together. We didn't even go he got busy with his job and didn't even take us, it's just been laying there for years.

I grabbed my clothes out of the closet and just threw them in the suit case, I wasn't even gonna bother to waste my time folding them. I grabbed my charger, headphones, body spray and lotions and just threw them over the clothes. I just wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible.

I heard footsteps coming upstairs and i finished zipping up the suitcase.

"What are you doing?" My mpm asked.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" I said emotionless, getting the suitcase off the bed and to the floor. "I'm moving out, you obviously don't want me here you know I'm just wasting your time and money."

I started struggling going down the stairs with the big suitcase. Until my mother pulled my arm hard the suitcase went down each step and i almost fell with it.
"You're NOT going anywhere Y/N!"
"Why?! you don't want me here! You never wanted me! Im 18 i can make my own decisions."

The door opened and Nate ran in.

*Nate's Pov*

I heard a thump and a screaming coming from Y/N's house. I know she needs me I can't leave her like that. I ran and went in.

"Oh Y/N don't tell me you're leaving with this piece of trash!" Her mom screamed. I saw Y/N's suitcase on the ground i picked it up and Y/N and her mom were fighting on the stairs.

"This 'piece of trash' loves me! He loves me and cares about me more than you ever have and more than you ever will. In fact you don't even know what love is!" Y/N screamed and immediately she got slapped. I ran up to stand between them.

"Hey! You have no right to treat your daughter like that!"
"I can treat her however the fucking way i want! I'm the one who's maintained her all her life. And you know what Nate you're gonna get sick of her like i have and you're gonna leave her out in the street and she's gonna have no one and I'm not gonna take her back!"
"You don't have to! You have no idea how much i love her and i'' never leaving her!" I yelled back. I couldn't understand how cold and heartless she can be.

"Let's go" i said calmly and turned to Y/N making our way out of the house.

I opened the car door for her and tried to help her put on her sear belt. "I'm good. I'm good" she said and i made my way to put her suitcase in the trunk.

The ride back to the apartment was quiet. I took a hold of Y/N's hand and parked the car.
"Baby i'm sorry you had to go through that. It's tough, i know, but maybe in the future you guys will be able to have a good relationship with each other. Things happen for a reason but i wont let that bring you down and if there's anything i can do to put a smile on your beautiful face right now i'll do anything."

A tear slipped and with my thumb i wiped it away.
"Thank you Nate." She said.
I got out of the car and ran to her side to open the door, i got her luggage and we made our way to the elevator to ret to our apartment. I love the sound of that.
