Chapter 14

(2 days later)

*Y/N's Pov*

"I'll miss you guyss. Come back soon" Benji said. He was holding me and Nate so tight. I was really gonna miss him, both of them.

"Nate tell dad i love him" Bella said
"I will" he replied as he gave her a tight hug and kissed the top of her head.

We said our goodbyes and got in the car to make our way back to LA

(8 hours later)

We were at the front of my door. Kissing. It was 4pm and we were exhausted.
"Do you want to stay over a little while?" I asked him and kissed his lips one more time.

"Babe i want to but" *kiss* "i need to check on the restaurant" *kiss* "so how about when i finish there" *kiss* "i come back and nap with you". I thought it was so cute that he would stop mid sentence to give me a little kiss. It gave me butterflies.

"You're such a cutie" i said as i pinched his cheeks.
"I know" he said with a big grin on his face.
"Alright, go so you can come back sooner"
"Bye, i'll miss you"
"Of course you will"
I blew Nate a kiss and watched as he got in his car and started driving away. Once he was out of sight i walked in.

My mom was sitting on the couch watching a movie. "Hey mom, i'm back"
"Hey sweetie how was your trip?"
"It was amazing, i got to meet Benji and Bella and they're so sweet. We did so many things"
"That's great"
"Yeah, um...I'm gonna go unpack my things and take a shower im exhausted"
"Okay, come back down when you're done"

The shower was so peaceful and relaxing. I started remembering the shower Nate and i took together. I hope there's a lot more of those.

When i was done I walked downstairs and my mom was just laying on the couch now. I was gonna go grab a drink of water when my mom stopped my tracks.
"Wait Y/N come here. We need to have a serious talk"
"About what?" I asked nervously
"Don't you think you're spending way too much time with Nate?"

I paused for a second and looked at her. I was shocked she would even say that. "Mom he makes me happy"

"I know he does. But have you even thought about your future? He doesn't have a job and neither do you and you can't be here your whole life"

I was confused did she want me to leave? "Are you saying you want me to move out?-"
"No Y/N! Im saying you need to focus on your life and put it on a track"
"Well I'm trying to figure it out but its not exactly easy to know what i want to do for the rest of my life, or if i'll even be good at it. Especially when you don't have your parents support anything you do!"
"Well then start thinking about it okay!"
"Fine! I will and hopefully you wont have to deal with me ever again!"

I ran up to my room feeling the tears coming out and i locked myself.
I fell on my bed and started blasting out You Don't Really Know Me by Jessie J with my headphones.

Come in through the window I shot Nate a quick text and tried to calm myself down a bit.

*Nate's Pov*

I just got to the restaurant it wasn't  open yet for the night shift.
I walked in and Violet was cleaning a table.
"Nate your back! How was your trip?" She squealed. Ugh shes so annoying.
"It was good. Where's Nina?"
"She's in the office. Want me to walk you there" she said all perky.
"No thanks. I know where it is obviously"

I sped walked past her trying to avoid any contact or more conversation.

"Hey Nina I'm back" i said as i walked in and approached my dad's desk she was sitting on.
"Nate how are you? How was everything?"
"It was amazing. Best trip ever"
"Did you use protection?" She asked. Woah did she like stalk us.
"What? How did you know?"

"Well genius i wasn't born yesterday . Both of you are so in love its annoying and adorable and contagious. You have a smile from ear to ear. And you guys have a cabin where you guys could do it." She said. Damn nothing gets past Nina.

"Hahaahaha damn you pay so much attention to detail"
"Thanks. Anyways how are Benji and Bella?"
"They're doing great. Both so grown up."
"That's good" she smiled and continued doing some paperwork.
"How's my dad?" I asked. I was worried, he's my dad and i just want to see him healthy.

Nina looked at me with sympathetic eyes."Nate your dad took some money from your shift"

I ran my hand through my hair and rubbed my eyes in frustration. We agreed the morning shift was mine and my money because i managed it and the night he could do whatever the hell he wanted. "Why?!? We had an agreement you know that!"

"Yes i know Nate, you need to calm down."
"No I can't. You know he probably used that money to buy alcohol. We're lucky the cars and house are already done and paid for"

I stood up from the chair i needed to go clear my head. "I'll see you later bye" i gave her a kiss on the cheek

I walked out but just my luck Violet got in my way. "So Nate i was thinking. You know since you're my boss we should have a good friendship don't you think? I mean so we get along and-"

*beep*beep*

"Hold on a sec" my phone saved me. It was a text from Y/N. Come in through the window. I could tell something was wrong. I wasn't coming in through the window much because her mom and i were on good terms now. "Sorry i gotta go. This is important"

I ran out of the restaurant and got to my car. Violet said something else but I didn't hear nor did i care. I needed to see if Y/N was okay.
