Chapter 47

*Y/N's Pov*

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Nate sleeping on the sofa in my hospital room. I turned my head and saw my heart monitor. I wanted to grab it and throw it out the window, the beeping was giving me anxiety. I hate hospitals. I had and IV on my inner arm and another cable on my finger. I hate them i just want to rip them out. I sat up on the bed and saw a glass of water on the little counter next to me. I reached out and grabbed it.
"Ah." I panicked. Once I stretched my arm i felt a little shock where the IV was connected.
"What's wrong? Y/N are you okay?" I heard Nate ask, immediately he was by my side.
"Yeah I'm fine i just wanted to get the water." I said and he reached out to get it for me.
I took a sip and instantly felt refreshed. My once dry mouth and throat felt so much pleasure and relief as the water went down.
"Nate you should've gone home and slept good. You didn't have to stay here and hurt your back on that hard sofa." I said.

"Y/N I don't care. I didn't want to leave your side. I wanted to be here for you when you woke up." His words made me smile and he placed a gentle kiss on my hand. "Are you hungry?" He asked.
"Actually yeah i am."
"What do you want i'll go to the cafeteria real quick and get it for you."
"Mmhm maybe some chocolate chip pancakes."
"Chocolate chip pancakes coming right up for my princess."
With that I watched Nate walk out.

"Hi Y/N how are you doing?" A nurse asked as she walked in two minutes after Nate left.
"Um better thank you."
"Thats good. Well i brought you some breakfast. The doctor wants you to finish everything to give your body energy and..." She trailed pulling out a little container. "You need to take these vitamins. Two a day."
"Oh my boyfriend actually went downstairs to get me breakfast." I smiled.
"Well you can eat that too. But you need to eat these fruits and eggs and the granola. And drink all the juice. You need all the energy and nutrients you can get. You haven't eaten since how long?"
"I think two days. I don't know I can't really remember. I'm sorry."
"Oh no it's totally fine. You get your leave tomorrow and we want you to be in good condition. Now, if you're feeling uncomfortable or need anything press the green button on the remote."
"Thank you." I said and she started walking out.
So many thoughts were rushing through my mind right now and I needed to clear some things.

"Wait. Nurse." I called before she could step out the door.
"Yes?" She asked walking back in.
"Um, what are the chances of me getting pregnant again and having a miscarriage?"
"Well honey every pregnancy is different. You never know what complications could occur. You need to take good care of yourself, avoid stress, and eat healthy. Also, make daily check ups to see how everything is going." She smiled reassuringly.
"Thank you."

I started eating slowly and thought about what the nurse said. I wanted my baby. I wanted it to be Nate's baby. We've been through so much these past couple months. It hasn't even been a year into our relationship and we've faced so many obstacles. I feel like now we can conquer anything together. The Two of Us.

"Hey i'm back." I heard Nate say. I looked up and saw him with a tray filled with food. "Heyy who brought you this food?" He asked with a pout.
"Oh the nurse did. I'm so sorry. If i had known I wouldn't of had you go down and buy all that. Oh my gosh." I said a bit frustrated. I felt so bad Nate wasted his money.
"No it's fine. Finish that food and I'll help you eat this one." He smiled and reached out placing a hand behind him suspiciously. "Oh and guess what else i got you?" He smirked.
"Mmhm is it candy?" I said excitedly.
"Maybe." He smiled devilishly. Oh that smile gets to me.
"Gimme. Gimme. Gimme." I said a bit excited.
"Nope. Not until i see you ate everything good."
"Alright." I agreed and continued eating my meal.

I actually was kind of hungry. I can't remember the last time i ate. I finished the juice and scrambled eggs. I then ate one of the chocolate chip pancakes Nate brought and drank up the milk.
"Done." I smiled.
"Mm you sh-till need to eat yo' apple." Nate mumbled with his mouth full.
"You're so cute." I said and reached out for the apple.
"Mmhm it's juicy." It was actually one of the best apples i've ever had.
"That's not the only thing you've said is juicy." Nate said under his breath with a smirk.
"Nathaniel! Stop it i'm in the hospital." I couldn't hold back the laugh.
"I meant that you've said before your fruit and candy are juicy geeesh babe you sexually frustrated right now?" He winked.
"Oh God Nate you're so annoying." I playfully slapped his shoulder.
"But you love me." He smiled.

*Nate's Pov*

Y/N fell asleep. I wanted to get everything ready for tomorrow when she came home. Most of her clothes were still at our place but that son of a bitch Jack took a lot of her personal belongings and I wasn't gonna let him keep any.
I called Lizzy from Y/N's phone, i needed the address for Jacks apartment. She gave it to me but she wants me to convince Y/N to talk to her. I didn't make any promises. I'm not gonna make Y/N do anything she doesn't want to do.

The apartment was in such a ghetto place, in the bad part of LA. Ugh Y/N should've never came here. It's horrible she never deserved anything like this. I walked up the stairs and there was a big commotion, cops and I'm guessing a couple neighbors.
"Hey what's going on?" I asked a lady that looked around her 60s.
"Well there was a group of young men here we heard yelling and i guess they were selling drugs or something. Two of them got away."

I walked into the apartment and saw a police dog sniffing around and a couple police officers.
"Young man you can't be in here." A cop said blocking my way.
"I know i'm sorry. Could you help me out? My girlfriends psycho ex stole some of her belongings from our place. Do you think i could get them back. You can check everything. I just want to get her stuff back."

The cop stared at me blankly debating if he should let me in. I mean i'm a good guy I won't do anything.
"Alright kid. Make it quick."
"Thanks."
I quickly went to the the drawers next to the bed. There was a bra strap hanging from the top drawer.It was just a studio place and I immediately found her stuff.
I was in and out in a flash.

After i set up everything back at our place i went back to the hospital to be with Y/N.
I walked in her room and she was flipping through that channels.
"Hey baby. I'm back." I said walking over to her kissing her forehead.
"Nate i wanna go home." She pouted.
"We will go home. Tomorrow." I said and she moved towards the left side patting on the bed signaling to lay with her.
I cuddled her up to my chest and played with her beautiful hair. Tomorrow i'll take Y/N home and I'm gonna make sure nothing else ever comes between us.
