Chapter 29

*Y/N's Pov*

Yesterday was amazing. Nate and i had sex again. He makes me feel like a woman. He makes me feel wanted and special and loved. He's the best.

I was currently at work folding panties and organizing. I was thinking that after work i'll go to the doctor to get a prescription for birth control. I mean it's better to be safe than sorry. Yeah, Nate uses condoms but there's also a chance those could fail and I don't think we're ready to be parents. We're too young and still figuring out life.

I felt arms wrap around me and smiled thinking it was Nate. Something didn't feel right so turned around and my heart almost exploded.

It was Jack.

"Hey Y/N"
"What do you want Jack?" I said showing my obvious annoyance and discomfort.
"I just...,we need to talk Y/N."
"We have nothing to talk about. I don't want you in my life or even near me. Now if you don't mind I'm working." I started walking away hoping he would take a hint and leave.
"Y/N please. Just listen to me. I'm sorry. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry i'm coming into your life when you're in a good place now and i'm truly happy for you. I just i wish you could listen to me. I hate where we left off and i just want to clear things up. Please just give me a chance Y/N, you don't even have to talk to me but i want to clear things up and then i'll stop bugging you, i'll stop looking for you. I'll disappear from your life again. Just please hear me out."
Jack's voice started getting shaky and his eyes were starting to get watery. I could feel like he was being sincere.
"Could we go eat at Panino? I just have so many things to say and i want this weight lifted off my chest. It's killing me everyday that i hurt you, that i got you involved in my shit. I know you gave Lizzy a chance please give me one."

He was right. I gave Lizzy a chance. I let her speak her mind and i spoke mine and cut her off. It's just part of my personality but i hate making people feel like shit.
"Okay" i said. "I get out in an hour, i'll meet you there."

~1 hour later~

*Jack's Pov*

I was sitting here at Panino and i ordered some chicken entree with fries. I ordered my princess Y/N some pasta a la bolognese. It's her favorite. I also got her some orange juice, she always needs juice with her meals cus water makes them taste weird.

Now i just wait. Y/N would come soon.
I looked up and just like i thought she came, right on time.

"Hey Jack."
"Hey Y/N, i ordered you some food. I just thought you might be hungry i mean you've been working for a while right."
"Oh yes. Um thank you. So what else did you want to talk about?" She asked. She put a strand of hair behind her ears and started fiddling with her hands.
"Y/N i fucked up. I'm a fuck up. I know you probably feel like i betrayed you. But i cared about you so much. I still do. I want to see you happy and i know your boyfriend makes you happy. I'm done with drugs that was my past. I'm such an idiot because it took me a year to realize me joining a gang and stuff caused me to loose the most important thing in my life. You. I went to therapy and in order to move on i needed this. I needed to see you again and i just-i want you to know i'm truly sorry for hurting you. I didn't want us to leave off in the bad place we did." I finished that and waited for a response. Y/N looked at me in shock.
"Honestly, Jack. I'm speechless. I know you deserve forgiveness and i do forgive you, i want you to be in a better place and i want you to be happy."

I smiled at Y/N and signaled my buddy Jacob. Yup, Lizzy's boyfriend, or ex now. We're old buds. It was just a coincidence he met Lizzy at a bus stop and started liking her.
"Ah oh my gosh." Y/N shrieked.
"Oh gosh. Im so sorry. I tripped! Here let me help you." He said grabbing a white cover to dry her off. He was in disguise as a waiter here and just spilled water on Y/N.
"I'm gonna go dry off in the bathroom." She said.
"I'm really, really sorry. I'll bring you an orange juice and a dessert on the house." Jacob said.
"Oh no its fine really." Y/N is so sweet. She went off to the bathroom, and Jacob made his way to get the special orange juice.

...

A couple minutes later Y/N came back. She fixed her hair and her clothes weren't as damp now.
"The waiter brought you some orange juice and cake. He's really embarrassed about what happened." I said.
"Oh it was an accident. I understand." My Y/N always so sweet, loving, forgiving, and innocent. How could i not love her?
"Well the orange juice is the best here. They've said they add a little more sugar and freshly squeeze the oranges. Everyone drinks the last drop." I said casually and put some fries in my mouth.
"Oh really? Then i guess it would be so rude of me not to finish it, especially since it was free" she said and started sipping.
"You always made me smile Y/N. Everything you said. Everything you did. Everyday was a good day with you." I said. I observed Y/N and she drank until the very last drop of the orange juice. I smirked a little.

"Oww" she complained while rubbing her head.
"What's wrong are you okay?" I asked concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine. I just got a really bad headache all of the sudden."
"Here i'll drive you home." I said getting up and leaving money on the table.
"No it's fine" she said.
"Y/N I insist. I'm not gonna let you walk home in this state."

I walked over to Y/N and put my arm around her and we started walking out the restaurant.
"I feel dizzy." She said.
"It's okay baby i'm right here."
"Nate?" She asked. Her voice getting weaker from the drug i got Jacob to put in her juice.
"No baby. Jack." I said. Jacob pulled in front of us and i got settled in the back seat with Y/N. She was slowly drifting away.
"Tell me baby. Did Nate fuck you?" I asked her.
She leaned her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes.
"Nate fucks me everyday" she said lowly with a little smile.

I immediately tensed up and my hands formed fists. I looked at Jacob and said, "You know where to go."
