Chapter 49

*Y/N's POV*

I woke up cuddled to Nate's chest. I looked up and he was slowly opening his eyes so I leaned in and kissed his lips.
"Good morning beautiful." He smiled.
"Good morning handsome."
"How'd you sleep?" He asked softly. I started playing with his fingers and put  his hand up to my lips to give his fingers little kisses.
"Amazing."
"Wanna go to Denny's for some breakfast?" He asked.
"Mmhm sounds like a plan. I'm just gonna take a shower real quick." I sat up and covered myself in the blanket, getting a towel ready. We were naked since we had sex last night. "Well are you gonna join me."

Nate grinned so widely.
"I'd be honored." He rushed out of bed and got the water ready for us.

While the shampoo was rinsing off my hair, I grabbed the sponge and started running it through Nate's body. I made bubbles and rubbed his broad shoulders, his back, his chest, and down his sexy abs. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. I could feel his 'friend' on my leg ;). 

As i put my strawberry conditioner on my hair and ran my fingers through it Nate started massaging my body with the sponge.
His gentle touch created a wave of electricity to run throughout my whole body and my breathing got uneven.
He held my face in his large hand and whispered in my ear.
"Relax baby." He kissed my lips and i tugged on his hair softly as his tongue came in and the kiss got intense.

We rinsed off and stepped out of the shower.
Nate put on some khakis and a long sleeve. It was kind of cold outside.
I on the other hand stood in my towel looking at my clothes. I always struggle in picking out an outfit.
"Babe you ready?" I heard him say behind me.
"Mmhm not yet. I don't know what to wear."
"Maybee.." He trailed as he reached into the closet. He grabbed my pink
P!NK hoodie, a gray long sleeve, and a pair of my leggings. "How about this?" He asked all proudly he was able to pick an outfit in seconds.

I looked at the outfit. It was cute but i wanted to be a little tease for him, just for fun. I didn't want to give him the pleasure of picking an outfit faster than me. He'll get all cocky.
"Alright, but i'm not really feeling the long sleeve." I said and he gave me a little pout.
"Why not?"
"Cuz', hoodies are much for comfy if i'm just wearing a bra under."
He gave me a little smirk and i went to get changed. 

"Ready." I smiled when i was done.
"You look perfect." He said kissing the top of my head. He grabbed his keys and we headed off to Denny's.
...
"So what do you wanna get?" Nate asked.
"Mmhm maybe the scrambled eggs with the biscuit, sausage, and gravy."
"Oh i think i'll get that too. Ooh and the strawberry pancakes."
"Haha you eat so much."
"Well these muscles don't get like this by themselves babe." He winked.
"Oh God Nate." I laughed. Nate doesn't even have to try. He always makes me so happy with just being himself.

"Hi I'm Linda i'll be your waitress today. Are you guys ready to order?"
"Actually we are. We'll get the strawberry pancakes and two orders of the deluxe scrambled eggs with sausage sides."
"Alright. Anything to drink?" She asked.
"I'll have an orange juice." I said.
"Same." Nate said.
"Coming right up." Linda said and walked away.

*Lizzy's POV*

I was at work bringing out the plates of food to the table. Shit.
I ran back in the kitchen and waited for Linda to come in. Y/N and her boyfriend were here! Having breakfast! My co-worker Linda was taking their order. I wanted to get close to Y/N, i wanted to talk to her. I know i fucked up but, those seven years of friendship we had were the best of my life. I'm so stupid i let an idiot come between us.
"Hey Linda." I said as she walked in the kitchen.
"Yeah what's up?"
"Um is it okay if you help table four out and i'll get who you were helping right now. I just feel like the lady didn't like me and I don't want a bad review since i'm just starting out." I lied.
"Oh yeah it's fine. Um here's what they ordered."
"Thanks." I put the order through and while it was getting ready i was trying to build up courage to face Y/N. I don't know what to say or how she's gonna react.

Once Y/N's order was ready, i went out and slowly walked to her table.
She looked up and froze, she glared at me. Her boyfriend noticed something was wrong and immediately turned around. His expression changed when he noticed me, his jaw clenched and he turned red.
"Linda was overbooked, so i'm gonna be your new waitress." I lied as i placed their food on the table.
"Whatever" Y/N rolled her eyes. "So anyways baby i was thinking that over summer Bella and Benji could come stay with us and we could go camping or something." She was ignoring me, i wanted to talk to her and it was killing me that she was being so cold towards me.
"That sounds amazing babe." Her boyfriend said and gave me a glare. It got awkward.
"Um what are you still doing here. I think your job is done." She said with an attitude.
"I'm sorry. Can we talk?"
"Why would i need to talk to you?"

Thats it she's impossible.
I sped walk towards the back door. I took of my apron and went out.
"Lizzy what are you doing?!" I heard Linda say. I ignored her and kept walking. I need to fucking face Jacob, he messed up my life. "Lizzy! Lizzy!"

*Nate's POV*

"Babe are you okay?" I asked. I knew seeing Lizzy here affected her.
"Yeah i'm fine." She said blankly.
"You know...you don't always have to be so strong."
"Why is she tormenting me Nate. I told her i wanted her out of my life."
"It's okay. She's gone now. I won't ever let her or anyone hurt you. Ever again." I grabbed her hand and caressed softly to reassure her.  I meant it. Nothing and no one will ever hurt Y/N as long as i'm alive.

We finished breakfast and walked out. There was a huge commotion and an ambulance. I noticed Y/N was a little frightened by the loud noises and people everywhere so i put my arm around her.
"What could've happened?" She asked.
"I don't know. Maybe there was a car crash or something."
"People need to be more careful."

We went on our way and decided to just stroll around sunset boulevard.
"You know breakfast was delicious, but thinking about it why didn't we go to your restaurant for breakfast?" My angel asked.
"Mmm...well i'm at my restaurant almost all week. I'm always working there and stuff I wouldn't want Nina or the waitresses bothering me with work stuff. I want to give you my full undivided attention." I smiled proudly at my words.
"Aaw you're the best." I loved putting a smile on Y/N's face. Her arm went around my torso and i tightened my grip on her. She leaned her head on my shoulder and i smiled as we continued walking down the street.
