Chapter 32

~1 week later~

*Y/N's Pov*

I woke up and my stomach was churning. It was doing all these twists and turns and oh gosh-
I ran straight to the bathroom and threw my guts out.
I felt hot, my throat was burning, and i started crying. I've always cried when i vomit. I just do.
I feel so shitty. Oh here it comes again-
Acidy liquid coming up my throat, out of my mouth, and into the toilet.

Nate came rushing in seconds after i started my second round of puking and kneeled down to the floor to put my hair back. Nate was rubbing my back and i think i finally finished.
"Are you okay baby?" Nate asked.
"I don't know" i said in frustration rubbing my temples. "I just..I don't know."
"Do you want me to go get you anything?"
"No i'm fine. I just need water." I said weakly. I stood up slowly and Nate helped me. I supported myself on the sink and started walking out the bathroom door. I felt super dizzy and slowly starting making my way to the couch. All of the sudden everything went dark.

*Nate's Pov*

"Y/N!! Y/N! Baby" she just fell straight into my arms. I don't know what's wrong. I gently shook her to see if she had any reaction.  "Baby wake up." She wasn't reacting.
I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Robert. He was friends with my mom, and also our family doctor.

R-Hello
N- Robert its me Nate. Listen i need you to come to my apartment quick its on East Addison Avenue building #536 second floor apartment 29. My girlfriend Y/N when she woke up she just threw up and she fainted.
R-okay Nate I'm on my way.
N-Thanks.
~End of Phone Convo~

I went to the closet and took out some rubbing alcohol, i put some on a cloth and hopefully this will work. I leaned down and slowly put it by her nose, at a distance where Y/N could sense the smell. She started shifting slowly and lowly groaned a little. I felt a small sense of relief.
"Baby are you okay?" I asked and Y/N faintly opened her eyes.
"Wha-what happened?"
"You fainted. I just called a doctor he's on his way to check on you."
"Nate i don't like doctors" by now a few tears were starting to run down her face. "Nate doctors always hurt me."
"Baby it's okay, this doctor is a friend of mine. I wont let anything happen to you" i grabbed her hand and kissed it, reassuring her that everything will be okay.

There was a knock on the door and i knew it was Robert. I stood up slowly to open it.
"Hey Nate, where's the patient."
"Shes on the couch" i said and we walked to her.
"Hi Y/N. How are you feeling?" He asked her.
"Really disoriented"
"Could you tell me what happened?" He asked while pulling out some tools to take her pulse and stuff. Y/N looked up at me wanting me to answer.
"Well i woke up and i heard her throwing up in the bathroom. I went to her and when she was done we were walking out and she just fainted. I used some rubbing alcohol to wake her up but i wanted you to come check on her." I said.

"Okay Y/N have you eaten anything?"
"Not since yesterday afternoon i think" she said.
"Okay well, the fainting was most likely a cause that the few energies and food nutrients you had left in your body, well you threw them up." Robert pulled out a needle and was about to take a blood sample.
"Do you really have to use that?" She asked nervously. I kneeled down and held her hand.
"Yes i do sweetheart i need to confirm that you don't have something more serious and we'll see if you need any medications."
"Okay" Y/N closed her eyes and squeezed my hand.

"Done. Thats it." Robert labeled her sample and put it in his medical bag. "Now Y/N do you think you have eaten anything that's caused you an upset stomach?"
"No"
"Have you been sexually active within the past month?"
"Um..yes." Y/N shifted uncomfortably. She didn't like getting asked personal questions but this was important.
"Have you guys used protection?"
"Yeah we use condoms" i said butting in.
"Y/N when was your last period?" The mood got intense and Y/N started counting in her head.
"Oh my God it was supposed to be today." She said. Were we going to be parents?!?
"Calm down Y/N its normal that your period doesn't come the exact day each month. And if you are missing vitamins and nutrients then you're most likely not gonna get it since your body overuses the ones in your blood. I'm still going to run the tests and i'll get back to you as soon as i get them back from the lab. But, theres a great chance that you're pregnant." Robert stood up and i walked him to the door.
"Thank you for coming." I said.
"No problem, i'll keep in touch to see how she's doing and I'll call you when i have the results. And Nate you have to make sure she eats well for her health and maybe even the baby that's developing."
"Alright i will. Thank you so much man."
"My pleasure. If you guys need anything else you have my number."
I shook his hand and walked him out the door.

Robert left and I walked to the couch too see Y/N and she was crawled up in a ball sniffling. I leaned down and caressed her face.
"Nate how could this happen?! We used protection."
"Baby maybe the condom broke."
"I don't want to have a baby." She said.

I starred at Y/N shocked, and hurt by her words.
