The buses are all dark and quiet because everyone is at the party so Austin opens the door to their bus and motions Levi on board. She turns a few lights on and fiddles with the bottom of her shirt nervously. Truth be told, Austin is nervous too. He has no expectations, he expects nothing from Levi. He just wants to be alone with her. "Come here," he signs. She breaths in and closes the gap between them, the poor girl is shaking and looks a nervous wreck. "I am not expecting anything. I just want to be around you. OK?" he signs "I just...I am sorry," she signs dipping her chin to the floor. He hooks his finger under her chin and makes her look at him. "Slow. I heard you. You are in control here," he says pointing between them. "You are also in control here," he says and taps his head, "here too," he says pointing to his chest where his heart sits, "I am fine with slow, baby" he says.

Levi smiles up at him softly, biting her bottom lip. "I am scared I am going too slow. Scared you will grow tired and find someone better," she signs. Austin smiles at her and shakes his head. "I have seen diamonds the size of my fist, shooting stars in the sky, and Grassy's nipple piercing. I have seen babies being born, ghosts, and women who look like they were made in factories. I have seen things I still can't explain, I have seen things that make no sense and some things that make all the sense in the world. But, I have never seen anything like you. You can't scare me away. With every moment, every action, every second - you draw me in deeper. That's the truth," he signs.

Levi stares at him with wide eyes." A simple don't worry, Levi you won't would have been enough, Austin. Careful, keep saying stuff like that and I might just fall in love with you," she signs. "Might?" Austin signs with a wide grin. Levi, who is now smiling ridiculously bites her bottom lip and takes three large steps away from him. "You steal hearts...go shower," she signs. Austin has a trucker cap on tonight so he tips it. "Yes, ma'am," he says, kissing her cheek on his way past and ducking into the bathroom. His skin has a thin layer of sweat on it and he scrunches his nose at his clothes so he turns the shower on and peels off his clothing. He is happy right now for so many reasons. He is alone with Levi, he has Levi, his music career is soaring, and he was able to skip his nightly whiskey last night. He has been sipping on beer all night and is slightly buzzed, but he skipped his whiskey last night. That just proves that he was never an alcoholic, he never had a drinking problem and can stop any time he wants.
He is so pleased with himself that he should celebrate so he opens the bathroom cabinet and reaches right to the back, his fingers curling around a small whiskey bottle and pulling it out. He takes a few sips, freezing and taking a moment to enjoy the burn the whiskey offers as it slides down his throat and warms his chest. Then he showers, washing his hair and beard too. Once out he dries and dresses then takes three more sips of whiskey before he secures the lid and slides it to the back of the bathroom cabinet again. See? He can control when he drinks and how much he drinks. He washes his mouth out then heads out of the bathroom.

Levi is waiting on the couch and stands as soon as she sees him then walks into the bathroom with her nightshirt in her arms. If he had known she was intending on showering too he would have suggested they shower together, it does not matter that he can barely fit into the tiny bus shower - small issues. Not sure what to do now he sits on the couch then stands and pokes around in the kitchen. She seems to take forever so he tidies up Grassy's bunk and folds a few shirts. When he runs out of things to do he sits back down on the couch. Geeze, he is acting like a man on the brink of losing his mind. That's not far from the truth though, Levi turns his brain to mush.

He shoots up and stands like an idiot as the bathroom door opens. Levi walks out and frowns when she sees him. "What are you doing here? You OK? I thought you would be in bed by now," she signs. Of course! The bed! Why didn't he just get into bed? "I was in bed, I just wanted some water. You want water?" he signs.
