The room was like a big oven.  Tango became a walking fire which lit up everything around.

Grian would be lying if he said Tango and his weren't impressive.
'He really cares for my brother, huh...'
Grian smiled inside, maybe he was worrying about Jimmy too much-- right now wasn't the time for this.
They had priorities -Cub.

"We need to calm Tango or will burn too."

Scar turned to him.
"You don't really seem shocked to see your brother and his uh..partner just popped ourselves out of nowhere."

Grian laughed.
"Trust me I really am.. but -" He jumped just in time to avoid a hit.
"I don't think now is a good time to think about that. So about the Tango thing-"

"Don't worry G, I'll handle it." Scar pat his shoulder.

They split up. Scar went to somehow stop the walking volcano, Grian's mission was to defeat Cub.

"Well well well... Who do I see, the fishy boy returned."
Cub's eyes glowed as he started a Grian. Out of nowhere he started laughing.

" I can't believe it! Scar actually lead this happened."

"What are you thinking about?"

Cub took a few steps towards him. Grian took his attack poison.
"Oh! About you souls bound? What you didn't notice?!"
Cub laughed again but this time the anger took the lead and Grian attacked.

Cub created a walk of sculk, Grian cut through it, like it was a butter.
His sword glowed..

" I don't think your darkness likes the lights"

The Sculk Master made some angry noises.
"Don't be so sure of your chances..."
He mumbled.

A swirl of darkness suddenly surrounded Grian. He tried to make it go away but the mist thing was to thick.

"What did you do?!"

"The purposes of the end is to take. No matter of the cost."
This time the voice sounded slightly different - lighter. It wasn't deep and dark but it was coming from the same person as before.

Grian looked at the person infront of him.
He looked like the Sculk Master but without the sculk except in some spots on his face and clothes.
Was it the before -sculk Cub.

" Grian! Watch out!"
Someone- Scar yelled as he created a blue crystal wall to block Cub's attack.
It was centimetres away from Grian's face..

"Your alright?"
Grian looked at the red string then at Scar's now light blue eyes.

"I think so..."Grian was silence for a moment.
"Where's Tango?"

"Safe there." Scar painted at the poor fire breed who was stuck in one of Scar's crystals." It'll take him a while to escape."

" Looks like our hero finally decided to join the battle."  Cub stood behind them. He didn't looked even slightly hurt from all of these fighting.

"I'm very impressed,Scar, soul bounding is a very hard but powerful."
It was that strange voice again.

Grian could swear Cub's eyes changed from the cyan to light blue like Scar's.

Scar looked like he understands the message. He created dome of the blue crystal, trapping Grian and himself inside. When it was finished, he turned to Grian.

" I have an idea. "
He took Grian's hand, the heart's on their hands showed up again.
" We need to connect our powers together. That's the only way we stood a chance towards it."

"Are you mad?! That's impossible, didn't you learn that mixing magic destroyed our world!"

Scar shook his head.
" To answer your first question - I think so? And for the second one - of course I learn but it didn't really destroyed it, we were took powerful si we get scared of what we could do. Now we need the power. We need to save Cub, to destroy this darkness before it reaches the other kingdoms."
Scar went silent..

" Do you want your kingdom to look like this?"

" How did you -"
" Jimmy told me, and I just knew.
It's not important, you said that taking out the darkness is our priority."

" Yes but that was before you came out with the irrational idea!"

The dome started cracking.

" It will be fine... It's just like the souls."

" I still don't understand that "

" Neither do I but we need to try...
Please G."

Grian started at him. He sighed.
"This is the stupidest thing I could ever do."
Scar smiled." You won regret this."

" I not sure... you already making me regret it."

" Gem... Maybe we should help them."
Pearl said. She left Jimmy sleep whit his Warden pet? son? she still didn't figure it out.

"I don't think it's a good idea, what if something happened to you? "

Pearl hadn't had an argument for that.
Gem took Pearl's hand and made her look at her.
" Jimmy's alive only because Grian saved him, not sure how but that's not really important now.
What's your priority is to stay away as Scar and Grian will fight, avoiding getting injured."

They look at the castle, the sun started raining slowly.

Pearl still didn't give up in this conversation. Her brother was still there and if something will happen to him it would be her fault because she let him go alone.

Bdubs came from behind and stoop next to them.

Gem looked at him confused.
"Where did you get that sunglasses?"

Bdubs touch them like he had forgot he wears them.
" You know, I always having a pair in my cloak. You don't even know when you would need one."

They started at the castle , until they saw a bright unnatural light coming from inside them.

" Cleo! "Bdubs yelled.

" Yup,I see it too."

The light was bright and very warm.. and something felt wrong about it.

" Bdubs, Gem we need to create something to stop this thing... it doesn't feel good."

Gem nood and in matter of second as the light came closer a dirty wall created around.

But it still was bright...too bright.
