I smiled down at the flowers Nyx had bought me. It was her attempt to apologize for her outburst yesterday. I waved at Nyx, who smirked back at me. I rolled my eyes and practiced zapping the dummies with electricity. I looked around and noticed Neal watching from afar. He had a kind smile on his face and didn't avert his eyes. Progress!

"Jaxster!" I noticed Paro skipping towards him.

Was I seeing this correctly? Paro had called him some feminine ass nickname and he responded with a slight smile?! What the actual fuck?! It appeared that I wasn't the only one confused. I then spotted Cal running after Paro with a tray.

"I made you cookies! Try them!" She pushed one in Ajax's mouth. "What do you think?" She eagerly asked as he chewed.

"Delicious." He smiled at her.

"Is Ajax going soft for the new girl?" Zeli neared me.

"Thought he was content with Lily." Ash stopped beside me.

"Do you think we should tell Lily?" Zeli asked.

"I'm not sure, guys." I looked at them. "But, we all think it's weird how close he is with her, right?"

"Ya." They both nodded.

"It's semi-cheating, correct?" Ash was confused.

"Uhh...." I trailed off. "I'm not sure if he's flirting with her or just open to her advances."

"She's literally all over him and he allows it." Zeli pointed out. "That's not right. I'd kill Cal if he ever did that."

"Well, your boyfriend is aiding in the cookie making with her. He's assisting the home wrecker." Ash grinned at Zeli's glare. "What?" He snorted.

The two bickered amongst themselves as I observed the interaction between Ajax and Paro. I noticed she picked an eyelash from his cheek and held it on her finger. She then instructed him to make a wish and then blow it. AND THE BASTARD DID JUST THAT! He gave her a gentle smile as she wrapped herself around his arm.

I soon spotted Yugi heading towards us. Wonder what brings him down here. He had a scroll in his hand as we made his way down. Nyx spotted him and waved him over. He politely held a hand up as he stopped.

"I have your order, Nyx." Yugi spoke and gathered everyone's attention. "Nyx wanted some questions answered." Yugi looked past me, so I turned to see my mother with the royal advisors.

"Yugi, I was summoned here. What seems to be of utmost importance?" My mother spoke.

"I know we have a lot of questions about the trespassers." Nyx stated and eyed Neal. "So, I had Yugi do a little digging."

"What do you mean by digging?" I asked.

"Remember when I cut him?" I nodded. "His blood on the blade provided enough of a sample for a dna test." I watched as Neal stiffened. "And I instructed Yugi to run the test."

"The tes-"

"And what would this test tell us, Nyx?" My mom asked. "I don't see why a dna test is relevant."

"Are you kidding? This would confirm if they're lying or not. We'd know exactly who they are and their purpose-"

"Nyx, I appreciate the concern, but it isn't necessary. Apologies for the trouble, Yugi, but-"

"If he performed the test, it's only right for him to read the results. It'll provide a peace of mind for everyone." Roman stood beside his husband. "There is no problem with that."
