Third Person POV

"So what's the plan?" Neal asked as we crouched over the hills.

"Well, we're just looking for an opening in the guards' rounds to sneak inside." I looked around. "Because going through the front entrance isn't an option apparently." Ken smirked.

"Great." He rolled his eyes. "They ok?" He gestured to a silent Ajax and Kevi.

"She told him what happened the day Lily went missing." Ken watched him gulp as she spoke.

"Damn." He whispered. "I'm sure that comes as a sucker punch to him."

"I'd feel that way." Nyx settled next to me.

Yu stayed quiet as Ajax and Kevi settled beside them. Ajax noticed a fault in guards shifts, so he yelled at them to go. They quickly scrambled after him. One of the guards saw and shouted, so Ajax jumped in the air and punched the ground. A ripple of shock waves raced to the outer wall, shattering it. The guards yelled as they fell down.

They jumped over the ruins and made their way inside the courtyard. Guards began shooting at them, so the group jumped in different directions. Yu tackled Kevi out the way of an arrow. He then helped her upwards as people chased them.

Kevi and Yu held onto each other's arm as they raced through the halls. However, they got blocked by a group of soldiers. They raised their bows to fire, but Kevi quickly spoke.

"Hold up!" She held her hands up. "Come on, we're not the enemy." The tone her voice had caused them to pause. They were captivated by how sensual and soothing her voice was. "We're the victims here. All we want to do is pass by and go home. Would that be a problem?"

They began to lower their weapons the more Kevi spoke. Kevi's voice was hypnotic to them and they found themselves letting the pair pass. Just as they made it free, a horn was sounded that broke Kevi's concentration. The soldiers shook their head and then shouted. Kevi dragged Yu after her and closed the door. They quickly barricaded the door and slowly backed away as the soldiers rammed against the door.

"Nice job." Yu complimented. "You found the right pitch."

"Ya, let's see if I can replicate it." She rolled her eyes.

They high fived before running off to regroup. They had to squeeze through a crevice to reach the other side. Yu had Kevi enter first. Kevi made her way forward, but paused at the enemy on the other side. She went to move backwards, but became stuck. Kevi tried to wiggle herself, but to no avail. Yu's eyes popped, so he unsheathed his blade and angled it over Kevi's head. The guard attempted to stab Kevi, but Yu angled his sword down to parry the strike. Yu could barely see as he fought off the man.

Kevi then watched as an angry Ajax marched towards the attacker. The attacker raised his arm, but Ajax grabbed it. Ajax the sliced the guy's throat and threw the corpse down. He then kicked against the wall until it gave way. Ajax then yanked Kevi through. Yu hurried through as well while Ajax made sure Kevi didn't have a tiny scratch on her body.

"You ok?" She nodded at him. "Good." He kissed her forehead. "Let's go." He held her hand and guided them.

Ajax had them stand back as he fought against any attacker. He led them to the tower room. Ajax kicked down the wooden door and had them enter. He then latched it again and started looking around for the switch.

"What are you looking for?" Yu questioned.

"We need to emit the vibrations that'll elicit a portal beyond time and space." Ajax responded. "Found it." He managed to turn it on.
