"We've gotta go back!" I whipped around when we landed at the palace. "We need to decimate those savages!"

"I agree with you, Ken." Ajax stared into my eyes. "However, we need to exercise caution.

"Caution for what?! They're trying to kill my son, Ajax." My voice cracked.

"Ken, come on." Nyx wrapped her arms around me and led me away.

We were nearing our room when Cal and Onyx called for Nyx. Not sure what they wanted, but it seemed urgent. Nyx apologized before quickly kissing my cheek and chasing after them. I didn't care to stay locked up in my room, so I journeyed to find people I could bully into helping me.

"Hey! I demand your assistance!" I entered the blacksmith house.

"Buzz off, Kennedy." Zeli didn't even remove her eyes from the blade.

"Excuse me? I'm your princess!"

"You missed the exit. It's right behind you." Ash monotonously spoke.

"Guys, I need your help." I sighed and sat in front of them. "Nyx, Ajax and I discovered that we're dealing with radical light angels who hate the very existence of anything dark and will go to extreme lengths to slaughter my child."

"That's dark." Ash hammered away on the sword.

"Rather unfortunate." Zeli continued sharpening her blade.

"Ya, and the Tabo tattoo is-"

"What?" They simultaneously stared at me.

"Huh?"

"You said Tabo tattoo." Zeli lowered the sword.

"Yes, Nyx and Ajax's-"

"Homeland. We know." Ash cut me off. "They're after Yu?" I nodded at him. "How long have you known this and why haven't you alerted everyone? We need to be on heightened alert. He's not safe at all."

"That's what I'm trying to say-"

"This is where Adira and us differ." Zeli stood. "We think they should be eradicated since they're a terrorist group, but your mother doesn't want to enact genocide against her own people. Granted, they respect her as Queen, but harbor extremist ideals."

"She has to do something since they're targeting her grandchild." Ash stated. "She can't be passive about them anymore."

"Not about being passive, but public perception. If she slaughtered them, that'd give the image of her intolerant thought process. She's weighing her options."

"Well, she has to choose whether she wants public approval or deceased grandson." Zeli shrugged since Ash had a point. "Does your mother know?"

"Ajax is gonna tell her."

"Do they know about Kevi?" Ash wondered.

"I don't know. I think it was just really public here about how Nyx turned to the dark side, so they know that bit. I don't think they know they're demons, just that Nyx was enticed by the dark Queen." I scratched my head.

"If they find out about their heritage, those kids are on a hit list." Zeli slowly spoke. "We cannot allow that to happen."

"I'm also trying to figure out if it'd be best to separate Kevi from Yu." Ash wondered.

"No." I shook my head. "Yu needs her. He'll begin craving her and start crying."

"We should speak with Ajax and Nyx, but it may be best to leave."
