Season 1 Episode 4: Never Trust A Snake

In the middle of nowhere, the Falcon lands on the phone line, scaring a group of birds, he then turns looking towards someone
"Wake up, Zane. I know where you come from." The Falcon said as Zane woke up and banged his head on the top of the bunk bed, gasping, Zane walks out while rubbing his head he looks out the window before walking into the bridge and seeing Nya and Wu
"The hunt starts early today." Zane said
"A watchful eye never sleeps." Wu said
"As long as Lloyd and the serpentine roam freely, no one in Ninjago is safe." Nya said
"Where are the others?." Zane asked
"Training in the upper deck." Wu responded as Zane goes out to the upper deck, he sees the Falcon perched on the mast
"You were in my dream little friend. Last time I saw you, you led me to good fortune. What reason have you returned?." Zane asked as the Falcon flew away from the bounty
Zane was unaware of a shadow lurking behind him, but he quickly realises
"Lord Garmadon." Zane said as he turned to face him
"But you are banished." Zane looked confused
"Only to return for the Weapons of Spinjtizu." Garmadon said pulling out two katanas
"Soon i will have the power to recreate Ninjago in my image." Garmadon said as he drew his shurikens, Garmadon charges Zane who jumps over him, landing in a defensive position
"Give me your shurikens of ice." Garmadon demanded
"You'll have to take them from me. Ninja! Go!." Zane yelled as he did spinjitzu at Garmadon, only to be knocked out by Garmadon who grabs his head, he then gets tossed into junk and loses his shurikens
"So be it." Garmadon said as he cuts a nearby rope which lets a heavy box fall down on Zane. But just as it was about to crush him someone saved him, looking up he saw the Green Ninja who holds it, before throwing it aside
"The Green Ninja. The legends true." Zane said as he looks back at Garmadon
Garmadon comes down as the Green Ninja punches him before flipping back to avoid a strike from Garmadon, the two look at each other as Garmadon charges the Green Ninja, but he jumps up as Garmadon thrust his swords forward at the Green Ninja, before the Green Ninja could land the Purple Ninja grabs the swords and Garmadon looks at him, the Green Ninja lands on the blades, he tries to get him off but the Purple Ninja kicks his stomach and sends him back, the Green Ninja jumps of the Katanas and lands next to the Purple Ninja, Garmadon gets up and tosses his katanas at the duo who dodge as the swords hit the mast instead, Zane gets up and uses Spinjtizu and gets away as the Mast falls, he watches in shock as the Purple Ninja and Green Ninja punch and Kick him, Garmadon attempts to fight back but is vaulted over by the Green Ninja, he then grabs the nunchucks of lightning and holds the over his head, Garmadon looks at them and rushes them with his katanas, but the Green Ninja hits him with the nunchucks, Garmadon leans towards the edge of the ship and tries to rush at them again only to be blasted back by a purple energy ball, he then gets sent off the bounty and he screams, Zane looks at the duo and sees the Green Ninjas eyes on fire while the Purple Ninjas eyes glow a purple colour
"Who are you?." Zane asked as he looked at the Green Ninja before looking at the purple ninja
"(Y/N) what has happened to your eyes?." Zane asked to no response from the duo
He looks at the Green Ninja again
"Kai is that you?." Zane asked as he stands up he is suddenly surrounded by multiple Falcon
"What is the meaning of this? Who are you Green Ninja?." Zane asked as Multiple Falcons land on the deck, soon he wakes up from his dream and bangs his head on the top of the bunk like in the dream again
"Oh sleeping in, you're gonna be late for training." Jay said as Zane looked at the ninja
"Oh, how come no one awakened me?." Zane asked
"We didn't think you us to. You looked like you were having some dream." Kai said
"Yeah, a crazy one for that." (Y/N) said as Zane looked at him remembering what happened before shaking his head
"How do I know this isn't a dream?." Zane asked as he gets hit in the head by a pillow by Cole
"Does that feel like a dream?." Cole asked
"No, thank you for your help." Zane said as they laughed at him, they soon walk to the deck where Wu was
"Hehe, little slow today, huh? What exactly did you dream about?." Kai asked curious
"I saw the Falcon again." Zane said making them look at him in shock
"Woah, Zane every time you see that bird something big happens. First it lead you to the secret tree house." Jay said
"Then it lead you to the bounty." Cole said as Wu finally spoke
"All right, stretches. First the swooping crane." Wu said facing away as he demonstrate a stretch
"Guys now not the time to get distracted by Zane's intriguing dream." (Y/N) said as he did the stretch
"It will be fine (Y/N) how shocking could it be?." Jay asked
"This time it showed me the Green Ninja." Zane whispered
"The Green Ninja?!." The three yelled as (Y/N) kept his pose with Zane, Wu looked at them to see them doing wrong poses
"That looks like the shocked monkey. Bad form, more focus." Wu said as he turned around again
"Huh what do you know, it was that shocking." (Y/N) whispered
"You can't just drop a bomb like that. Spill the beans." Jay whispered
"Yeah what else did you see?." Kai asked whispering
"He was fighting Lord Garmadon." Zane whispered
"That's what the prophecy said. That the Green Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord. But did you have a chance to see which one of us was him?." Kai asked still whispering
"Yeah?." Jay asked whispering
"I could not tell. He shared attributes each of us possess." Zane whispered
"Now, the pinching Crab." Wu said changing his pose with the ninja
"We'll tell us everything. And don't spare any details. There has to be a clue that tells us which one of us is gonna be the Green Nin-
Wu pulls on Kai's hair
"Ow ow ow! Hey!." Kai yelled in pain as Wu released his hair
"I told you now's not the time." (Y/N) said
"What was so important to ignore my teachings?." Wu asked
"Uh nothing." Kai lied
"It was nothing Sensei." Jay lied
"Yeah we don't talk while you teach." Cole said lying
"Everyone was paying attention." Zane said half lying
"(Y/N) was paying attention, but the rest of you? No, so since you four appear to be lacking focus, then you four can all share in the same punishment, except for (Y/N)." Wu said
"What?." Kai asked
"Punishment?." Jay asked
"It was all Zane." Cole blamed
"I was merely answering their questions." Zane explained
"No free time and no video games. The rest of the day can be used for training. And tomorrow, for that matter." Wu said
"Training? For how long?." Kai asked
"Until you can answer this simple riddle. What is the best way to defeat an enemy?." Wu asked
"Easy a sword." Kai answered
"Your fists." Jay answered
"Spinjitzu." Cole answered
"Tornado of creation?." Zane asked
Wu sighed
"Pace yourselves. You have a lot of training ahead of you. Make sure your sharpen your mind as well as your spinjitzu. Come (Y/N) we have stuff to attend to." Wu said as everyone groaned
"How come he always gets special treatment?." Jay asked
"Yeah this isn't fair." Cole said crossing his arms
"I don't get special treatment. I've been through your shoes before for years, and years, and years, if you haven't forgotten I've been raised by Wu for my entire life, so I've had more experience." (Y/N) said as everyone looked down as they remembered
"Right, sorry." Cole said
"Yeah we're sorry." Kai said
"It's fine, besides I've decided to stay and train with you, if that's fine with you?." (Y/N) asked Wu who nodded
The gang started training with different equipments and weapons, Cole grabbed a bo staff and span it
"Ugh, what's the best way to defeat an enemy? It could be anything, ugh!." Cole groaned
"Come on guys we're smart, we can figure this out." Jay said trying to raise spirits as Kai began punching a punching bag
"Yeah, but let's hear more about this dream." Kai said
"Yeah I'm even more intrigued now." (Y/N) said excitedly as he did some push ups
"Let me just say, the Green Ninja and Purple Ninja are awesome." Zane said smiling as (Y/N) landed on the deck
"What?!." (Y/N) yelled surprised
"Okay now I'm intrigued." Jay said

In a snow tundra, the Fangpyre and Lloyd march over to the Hypnobrai tribe and encounter them
"Go General! The Hypnobrai. Now teach them a lesson for betraying Lloyd Garmadon! Uh do your thing Fangpyre, I let you out of your hole for a reason." Lloyd said
"Attack!." Fangtom yelled before they could they saw Skales
"Skales my old chum! I did think I'd be fighting you. Hmm, moved up in the world have we?." Fangtom asked
"If it isn't the Fangpyre. Out of all the cold blooded to creep up on us, I'm glad it's a friend." Skales said
"Wait I thought you were enemies, not friends." Lloyd asked confused
"We were at war. But seeing that Skales is now leading then. Well I don't see why we can be comrades." Fangtom said
"Have you released the Constrictai, the Venomari, or heaven forbid the Anacondrai, then we would've had a tussle." Skales said as Lloyd got angry
"A tussle? A tussle?! But in Lloyd Garmadon! Bringer of evil!." Lloyd yelled
"Hehe. What should we do with him?." Skales asked Fangtom
"I could turn him into one of us." Fangtom suggested
"Hmm no, the little tyke is pretty useless." Skales said
"What if you hypnotised him and make him think he's a pig?." Fangtom suggested as Lloyd got scared
"That'd be pretty funny." Skales said slightly laughing while Lloyd quietly sneaks away, only to be followed by the snakes slightly as he walked away
"Hahahaha! Can you image?." Fangtom laughed as Lloyd climbed on a serpentine bike tail, which it notices and flings him away

Back at the bounty Zane finishes explaining his dream
"With his fist on fire." Zane explained
"Woah." They all wowed
"I sound amazing, like did you hear that? I had powers! Actual Powers!." (Y/N) looked excitedly as he tried to recreate his powers as Zane described them
"So I'm the Green Ninja." Kai said smiling
"What are you talking about? He had incredible strength to lift that cargo and save his life. It's me." Cole said arguing at Kai
"No no, did you miss the part of the story where the guy pulled out nunchucks? I have nunchucks!." Jay yelled pulling out the nunchucks of lightning
"I think you're all missing the point of this dream. The point is the Falcon flew on his arm and it was my dream, so naturally it's me." Zane said
"I think we can cross Cole off the list. I could've lifted ten times-
"Woah cross me off the list? Anyone can hold nunchucks." Cole argued at Jay
"Or maybe none of you are the Green Ninja." (Y/N) said as they all looked at him
"What?! Did you not hear what we just heard?!." Jay yelled
"Yeah didn't you?." Cole asked crossing his arms
"It's clearly me!." Kai yelled
"It was my dream-
"Enough!." (Y/N) yelled as they all stopped talking and looked at him
"Hasn't it occurred to you that none of you are the Green Ninja? He has used everyone of your powers, we can only use one of our powers, clearly someone else is the Green Ninja." (Y/N) said as they looked at each other
"Uh and what if you're wrong?." Cole asked as the others agreed making (Y/N) sigh
Wu then walks up to see they aren't training
"Since you are not training, you must have already found the answer to my riddle. What is the best way to defeat your enemy?." Wu asked as the four looked nervous
"Uh the best way to defeat your enemy is to... train. Sensei?." Kai asked
"Feeble and incorrect. Maybe more training will help you focus. Remember what happened to your vehicles when you lost focus. A razor sharp weapon is an extension of a razor sharp mind." Wu said as he walked inside as the gang groaned
"How am I supposed to focus when we don't know who the Green Ninja is?." Jay asked groaning
"I told you not to talk during training, shoulda listen to me, shoulda listen." (Y/N) said as the four sighed again
"Well I don't want to be training all day, let's work together on this riddle. We can figure it out." Cole said as they got back to training

Meanwhile at the sea of sand, Lloyd walked around holding the map while mocking Skales
"'Have you released the Constrictai, the Venomari, or heaven forbid the Anacondrai, then we would've had a tussle'. Pfft." Lloyd mocked as he looked ahead and saw a tomb
"I found it! The Anacondrai. The most feared and powerful Serpentine of them all. And if they're afraid of the Anacondrai, then the Anacondrai is what they're gonna get. Lloyd laughed as he opened the tomb, he turned on a flashlight and shines it around, passing some bones while he did, a pair of red eyes linger behind him, before turning into a snake, Lloyd turns around and screams as he see the snake and falls over
"My sincerest apologies young man. Oh dear due to my unfortunate appearance, I tend to have an unsettling effect on people, heh. Oh I believe you dropped this." The Anacondrai said handing Lloyd his flashlight
"Ah there you go." The Anacondrai said as Lloyd got up
"Uh, thank you. Uh what happened to the others?." Lloyd asked
"Poor unfortunate souls. All those years locked away with nothing to eat. Must have slowly starved away until they were just scales and bones. And who may you be my little appetize- I mean friend?." The Anacondrai asked
"Lloyd Garmadon. Son of Lord Garmadon and future dark ruler." Lloyd introduced
"Oh, hahahah, how deliciously evil, if I had feet, ooh I'd be trembling in my boots." The Anacondrai said
"And uh, who are you?." Lloyd asked
"Humbly, I am Pythor P. Chumsworth. And since you've freed me. I am eternally in your service." Pythor said much to Lloyd's surprise
"Really? You're not gonna trick me?." Lloyd asked skeptical
"Oh why would I trick you? I hardly have any friends." Pythor said much to Lloyd's surprise again
"Woah. I hardly have any friends too." Lloyd said smiling
"You don't say." Pythor said
"Hey, how you like to be my loyal henchman? I've been betrayed by the Hypnobrai and the Fangpyres, and I'm looking to get a little revenge on some Ninja too." Lloyd said as Pythor saw the map of dens on Lloyd, gaining a plan
"Hmm, I love revenge! Oh you know Floyd...
"It's Lloyd." Lloyd corrected
"Whatever. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful friendship." Pythor said gaining Lloyd's trust

Back on the Bounty, the Ninja train, grunting as they do
"Anyone got a solution to Sensei's riddle?." Cole asked
"It can't be that hard. What's the best way to defeat an enemy?." Jay asked
"Zane you're smart. What is it?." Kai asked
"I do not know, but I sense Sensei is going to keep us here if we don't work together and find an answer." Zane said
"Well that was helpful." Jay said slightly annoyed
"(Y/N) you've been around Sensei the most, what's the answer?." Kai asked
"Sorry dude, but I don't know either." (Y/N) said as he punched the punching bags
"Well our only hope is gone." Jay sighed
"I sense we're gonna be stuck here for hours." Zane said
"And that's what bothers me, because while we're here working. That means the enemy is playing." Cole said

In Jamanakai village. Lloyd and Pythor move along a bicycle, Lloyd laughs evilly while Pythor pedals, they move along knocking trash cans down, they both laughed
"Stop! Stop!." An angry villager yelled at them
On the outskirts, Pythor removes a sign that states not to be on the grass, the duo play in the grass, in the village again, Pythor and Lloyd have a massive ice cream as Pythor pushed the ice cream cart and Lloyd stands on the cart
"Hey, you can't do that!." The ice cream sales man yelled
By the pond Lloyd and Pythor grab rocks and toss them at two boats causing them to sink, the boys playing with them cry as Pythor and Lloyd laugh, by the fountain they move along a row of babies and steal their candy, they babies start crying as they lose their candy, Lloyd and Pythor leave with their candy with a wheelbarrow, laughing as they make it back to Pythors tomb
"Wow, you're the best henchman a mastermind could ever have." Lloyd praised
"Oh Lloyd. You're the best mastermind a henchman could ever have." Pythor praised as Lloyd chuckled
"Hmm, why is it that you have no friends?." Pythor asked Lloyd
"Well, I could've had friends back at my Boarding School For Bad Boys, but I decided to run away and never let them see me again." Lloyd laughed evilly
"Really? Uh why would you run away from making friends? Everybody needs friends, even tyrants." Pythor said as Lloyd looked guilty
"Well, uh maybe I didn't run away, maybe I, uh, I got kicked out." Lloyd said truthfully
"From the Boarding School For Bad Boys? I don't believe it. I hear they are the breeding ground for the truly despicable. And if you ask me, ho-ho you are a handful." Pythor said praising Lloyd who smiled
"Well, thank you Pythor, but they told me I wasn't bad enough. They said I lacked the amoral ambition to be one of tomorrow's masterminds." Lloyd explained
"Well you'll show them." Pythor said
"That's right. I will show them." Lloyd said determined
"Then why don't we?." Pythor asked much to Lloyd's confusion
"Uh why don't we what?." Lloyd asked
"Let's get revenge on the very school that rejected you. And when the Ninja come to the rescue, we'll have a trap laid out for them." Pythor explained
"A double revenge?." Lloyd asked
"A double revenge, get some rest. Hijacking an ice cream truck is a lot for anyone, and if you're going to rule the world, well, ho ho ho, you'll need to get your sleep oh and one more thing." Pythor looked at Lloyd
"Yes?." Lloyd asked
"I'll be your friend." Pythor said as Lloyd hugged him
"Oh Pythor you're the best." Lloyd said as they embraced before letting go of him and laying down to sleep, Pythor laughs as he tries to grab the map, but Lloyd rolls over much to his annoyance

Back at the bounty, the ninja walk to wu and tell him they solved the riddle
"Oh, you must have found the answer to what is the best way to defeat an enemy?." Wu asked as everyone smiles
"We have sensei, it's- on three guys, one, two....
"Teamwork!." They yelled together
"Is this what you all think?." Wu asked as everyone smiled
"Yeah." Cole smiled as Kai and (Y/N) high-fived
"Yes!." Jay yelled simultaneously
"Absolutely!." Kai yelled simultaneously
"Sadly, you are all wrong." Wu said as they groaned
"Come on." Cole groaned
"Aw man." Jay groaned as (Y/N) banged his head on the bounty's wall
"I'm starting to think whoever solves this riddle can be the Green Ninja for all I care." Cole said to them as a alarm started blaring
"What's that?." Jay asked looking confused
"Who cares? It's something besides training. Break it down for me sis." Kai said
"Lloyd and a serpentine have overtaken Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys." Nya said much to their surprise
"That place is cesspool for the crooked and the misbehaved." Jay said
"Who thought a school for boys that specialises in villainy was a good idea?." (Y/N) asked as Cole stepped up
"Well, doesn't mean they don't need our help. Step on it." Cole ordered as Zane pushes the button to make the ship fly
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled as they flew

At Darkley's, Lloyd laughs as he and Pythor have just tied up the students and teachers, they skate down the hallway
"Hey, how are the booby traps?." Lloyd asked Pythor smiled
"Every door, window and hole into this place are spring loaded." Pythor explained
"Ah good, I'm sick and tired of those ninjas sneaking their way into my evil doings." Lloyd said as the ninja arrive from above
"Looks quiet down there. Should we infiltrate using stealth?." Zane asked
"I would." (Y/N) said
"Ah, we've done that. What about using our Golden weapons that turn into our vehicles?." Kai asked as Cole was working on his tread
"Im still working out the kinks on that, besides (Y/N) doesn't have one. Anyone have any other ideas?." Cole asked
"Hmm. Well I have one idea, but you guys gotta trust me." Jay said
"Oh I don't think I like the sound of this." Kai said
"I second this with Kai." (Y/N) said
Back at Darkley's rooftop, Pythor and Lloyd lookout for the ninja
"Relax, we've made the perfect trap. We're in broad daylight so there isn't any shadows. But even if they could get in-
Lloyd sees something scurry in the ground
"What's that?." Lloyd asked pointing on the ground as Pythor firs a net at it, only for it to be just a lizard
"Oh, good, yeah good reflexes, I was just testing you, if I know these ninjas, they're cleverly sneaking their way right past us at this very moment." Lloyd explained meanwhile the ninja stand on the anchor
"Jay, I don't know about this." Kai said holding on
"Yeah Jay I trust you with a lot of things, but I'm starting to lose that trust with this idea." (Y/N) said clutching on
"Just hold on tight!." Jay yelled as he signalled Nya to drop the Anchor
As they fall the Ninja scream, Lloyd and Pythor look up and dodge the anchor as it crashes through the roof all the way to the ground floor. The ninja cough as they reach the ground
"Okay, let's agree never to do that again." Cole said as everyone agreed, Cold grabbed his scythe and lifts it up to the students making them whimper, he then cuts the rope
"Stay out of school kids." Cole said as he saw Nuckal and Kruncha
"Hey it's those bone heads again." (Y/N) pointed at them who were also tied up
"Well well well, Kruncha and Nuckal, substitute teachers eh? If we cut you down, we better not catch you hanging around Ninjago again, or else." Cole threatened as he cut the rope allowing them to run free
"Is it just me or did I kinda expected more from them?." (Y/N) asked as everyone looked at him
"No it's just you." Cole said
"He's on the top floor. Let's get him." Kai said pointing at Lloyd
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled as Kai and Zane use spinjitzu on the stairs, Cole climbs the chain and Jay uses the elevator, (Y/N) jumps onto different floors
As Kai and Zane go up the stairs, they get stuck in a slime like object
"Ugh." Kai groaned as he tried to move
"I can't move." Zane said as he tried to free himself
Pythor and Lloyd laughed, Lloyd saw Cole coming closer, Jay meanwhile was trying to stay awake in the elevator while (Y/N) jumped to the next floor
"Prepare to eat my dust." Cole said as Pythor pulls a rope causing dust to fly everywhere and Cole coughs, Jay and (Y/N) find him in his condition
"Huh, looks like your eating their dust Cole." (Y/N) said as he saw a glimpse of Pythor
"He's got a serpentine with him. Watch out for booby traps!." Cole yelled
"Ah that's one big snake." Jay whimpered slightly
"One against five? I seriously doubt this snake can handle us all." (Y/N) said as they ran
Meanwhile Lloyd runs around in circles
"They're come. They're coming. They're coming. They're coming!." Lloyd yelled as Pythor barricades the door, only to be destroyed by Jay and (Y/N)
"Shocked to see me?." Jay asked as (Y/N) facepalmed
"I hate you some days." (Y/N) groaned as he took a stance
"Do something!." Lloyd yelled at Pythor who only takes the map confusing Lloyd
"Wh-what are you doing? I thought you were my friend." Lloyd looked confused and sad making (Y/N) feel bad for the boy
"All you wanted was to make the serpentine your slave, well sorry my dear boy, I have other plans." Pythor said as he disappeared
"Oh great, snakes that can make someone hypnotised, turn others into snakes and now they can go invisible, whats next?." (Y/N) asked annoyed
Lloyd panics as he tries to find a way off but is stuck while Jay approaches him, (Y/N) walks in the other direction to get him, meanwhile the bounty comes down with Wu and Nya
"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, you come here right now!." Wu yelled as Lloyd gulped
"I would comply dude, I wouldn't make him any more angry then he is." (Y/N) said as Jay grabbed him and lifted him over his shoulders
"I got him." Jay said as he walked to the bounty
"Woah! Hey, let me go!." Lloyd yelled as the others arrived in the bounty
"What should we do with him? Wash his mouth out with soap for a year?." Cole asked
"Ground him indefinitely?." Kai asked
"Have him sit in a corner for a century?." Zane asked
"Feed him Coles cooking for the rest of his life?." (Y/N) asked as Cole glared at (Y/N)
"I know exactly what we must do." Wu said as Lloyd gulps

Later that night, Wu reads Lloyd a bedtime story, Lloyd lays on Wus bed while everyone minus (Y/N) looks angry
"And that's why Jack the Rabbit never trusts a snake, the end." Wu finished as he closed the book
"Oh, if my dad had read me that book, I would never have made that mistake, I'm sorry uncle." Lloyd apologised as Wu smiled
"Oh, you do not need to apologise. I am sure that if your father was still here, it would be the first book he'd read. Good night nephew, sweet dreams." Wu said
"Ah, good night uncle." Lloyd smiled as Wu left the young boy, only to find five more
"I dont get it Sensei." Kai said
"Why is the little brat getting punished?." Jay asked annoyed
"Yeah, we had to train all day and he gets a bedtime story? It's not fair." Cole complained
"Do you want a bedtime story Cole? I'm sure that can be arranged by Wu if you like." (Y/N) said making Cole embarrassed
"Hmm, you're right, I nearly forgot. Why are you not still training? Did you find the answer to the riddle?." Wu asked as they sighed
"No sensei. We still don't know what's the best way to defeat your enemy is." Kai sighed as the five slowly walked away hanging their heads
"It is to make them your friend." Wu answered as they looked at him with understanding
"Oh." They said simultaneously
"Of course." Jay said
"Yeah." Kai said
The five ninja look at the sleeping Lloyd and smile as they solved the riddle without knowing it

Later that night (Y/N) walked to Wu
"(Y/N) it is incredibly late, yet you are still awake, why?." Wu asked as (Y/N) looked at him
"What does this mean?." (Y/N) asked as Wu looked confused
"What does what mean?." Wu asked

"It is up to you, if you choose to accept him or not." Wu said as (Y/N) looked back at the room where Lloyd slept, and (Y/N) smiled
"It's not me who needs to accept, it's him who needs to accept me into the family." (Y/N) said as Wu nodded
