At Steep Wisdom, Wu trains Nya so she can become the Water Ninja
"Concentrate. Focus on reversing the flow. Become the water, Nya. Embrace it. You can control it. Become the Water Ninja." Wu told Nya, he gasps when he sees the water stop, thinking she has done it, he sighs when he see that she's blocking it with her hand
"I'm not the Water Ninja. I'm a Samurai. I'm afraid my friends are in trouble, and I won't be there to help. We don't even know for sure if I have the power, so if everyone is waiting for me ti discover I'm some sort of Water Ninja, maybe we've got a problem." Nya said as Wu noticed a lily pad in the pond move with her gestures, Misako then walks out to them
"And maybe we have an even bigger one." Misako said as she leads them inside the tea shop where Ronin is
"Your first problem is the opening of a tea shop in the middle of a dry season. Waters at a premium. Then there's the name. Steep Wisdom? Ugh. More like Steep Debt. I mean, heh, where are the customers?." Ronin asked looking at them
"Who is this strange fellow?." Wu asked
"You need to have a name with pizzazz, like Curiosi-tea! Or Shake Your Boo-Tea! Heh! These are just off the top of my head. This place is a cluttered mess." Ronin told them
"Excuse me, but if you're not a customer, what are you doing in our shop?." Misako asked
"You mean my shop." Ronin corrected
"Huh?." Wu looked confused
"Oh, right. They never told you. Names Ronin. And since I'm now effectually the majority shareholder, I'm your new business partner." Ronin told them as Wu gasps
"What?." Nya asked
"After the ninja lost the Scroll of Who-whatzu to that Morro dude, I bailed them out in exchange for their shares in the tea shop. Since they destroyed my pawn shop, I thought it was a fair trade until I saw this sorry place. Ah." Ronin said as he sat down on a chair
"They didn't get the Scroll of Airjitzu?." Nya asked
"If they didn't get it, they'll never be able to follow the rest of the clues to the Tomb of the First Spinjtizu Master." Misako said
"Let me go. They need me more than ever." Nya begged
"Relax, the ninja are fine. I told them another possible way they could get it. Don't you know in life, there's always second chances." Robin smirked
"What do you mean another way?." Wu asked
"What? No one ever told you about Yangs Haunted Temple?." Ronin asked

Meanwhile, the Ninja arrived on a tour to the temple
"Welcome to Yangs Haunted Temple, the historical landmark and former home of Sensei Yang, the notorious Sensei without a pupil, infamous for creating the lost martial art of Airjitzu. Unfortunately, we can't take our tour groups inside, for rumours say anyone trapped inside its wall at sunrise, will be turned into a ghost permanently. But, if you listen closely, maybe we'll be able to hear the Ghost of Sensei Yang himself looking for his lost pupils." Patty told the people who took photos
"I HOPE ITS NOT A RUMOUR, FOR IT IS OUR ONLY HOPE!." Zane yelled as everyone looked at him
"Ah, sorry about my loud friend. He's a little hard of hearing." Cole apologised
"Known for his un-usual teaching methods." Patty cleared her throat
"I thought you said you fixed him?." Kai asked Jay
"At least he's no longer talking backwards. I guess my tinkering got his volume level stuck, hehe." Jay chuckled
"AT LEAST YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME NOW!." Zane yelled
"Ugh, I wish Nya was here to fix this." (Y/N) groaned
.... Dating back, ahem, to the Edo Period...
"Well, from now on, only speak of you have something really important to say." Cole told Zane
"Who put you in charge?." Kai asked
"I did. After you three mucked it up, it's my turn to be in charge." Cole told them
"Again... doesn't (Y/N) get a say in this?." Kai asked
"Hang on, let's see where Cole goes with this." (Y/N) said
"Thank you, anyways, like me, I like my plans simple. We sneak in, learn Airjitzu from the Ghost of Sensei Yang, then get out before sunup." Cole told them
"Simple enough." (Y/N) nodded
"Well, since Morro already knows Airjitzu, we just have to hope he handy figured out the next clue." Kai said
"Well, the sun is setting, which means we should head back to the bus.
Wouldn't want anyone to turn into a Ghost." Patty giggles as they all walked back

Later at night, Cole and Jay try to open the windows, but Zane, Kai and (Y/N) just open the door
"Oh, uh, okay." Cole said as they walked in
"Idiots." (Y/N) mumbled as he walked inside, the door then closed and locks by itself

Morro meanwhile try's to figure out the next clue
"The second symbol. Can any of you decipher it? There was a reason why I brought you three out." Morro said looking at Bansha, Soul Archer and Ghoultar
"I can, but you'll need more than Airjitzu to get there." Bansha told Morro
"Are you suggesting, Bansha, that we'll need to possess a few more vessels?." Soul Archer asked
"Haha. Me likes! Me likes to take! Take now, heh!." Ghoultar said excited
"Settle down, Ghoultar. Master would want us to be patient. I think I know where to pick up a few more... toys." Morro smiled evilly

The ninja enter a room in the temple
"Oh." Cole sees a Spykor in front of him
"Argh!." Cole screamed
"Relax. If this place is truly haunted, we just need to wait until he shows himself." Kai told Cole
"Uh, he should've been here by now." Jay groaned
"Patients Jay, we still have time." (Y/N) told Jay
"Uh, I don't think you remember (Y/N), but if we don't hurry up and find him, we'll be Ghosts." Cole told him
"Uh, remind me again why we agreed to put the guy afraid of Ghosts in charge?." Jay asked as Zane shows him a book
"LISTEN TO THIS!." Zane yelled
"Argh! Allow me." Jay groaned as he takes the book off Zane
"Ahem. Woah. It says here though many believed many Sensei Yangs unusually strict teachings drove his pupils away, others admit to never seeing any of them leave the temple grounds, suggesting a more sinister plot. Hah! How awesome is that?." Jay asked
"Not awesome. Not even a little." Cole said
"Bro, that's messed up, I can't imagine Wu ever being like that." (Y/N) said
"Don't believe everything you read." Kai said
"Yang was hard on his pupils for a reason, for in his words. As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student." Jay read
"Hmm. I wonder what he means by that." Kai wondered as they hear the Grandfather clock start dinging, Cole gets scared
"It's him. He's in the clock!." Cole yelled fearful
"You're the leader. Check it out." Jay told Cole
"Yeah go on, fearless leader." (Y/N) smirked
Cole approaches the clock and opens the door, the Falcon flies out
"Aah!." Cole screamed as Zane plays the groaning sound on the Falcon, everyone laughs at him
"A prank? Really?." Cole asked annoyed
"Heh, we were just trying to help you relax." Kai smiled
"Yeah, heh. You should have heard yourself scream!." Jay laughed as Zane plays the recording of Cole screaming, everyone laughed again, everyone stopped when they hear a thudding sound
"Ah. Another prank? Real funny. Didn't anyone teach you to quit while you're ahead?." Cole asked as he opens the door and leaves
"Uh, was that you?." Kai asked
"Not me." Jay said
"ME EITHER!." Zane yelled
"Don't look at me, I was here with you the entire time." (Y/N) said as they run after Cole
"Cole, wait!." They yelled
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very scary." Cole didn't care as he approached a door with its handles moving
"As if I believe in Ghosts." Cole rolled his eyes
"I swear, Cole." Kai said
"Let's go back! We didn't do that!." Jay yelled
"IT WASNT US!." Zane yelled
"Cole, please, you gotta believe us." (Y/N) said
"Okay, I have to admit, this is pretty good. How'd you get the handles to move all by itself? Is Nya behind there?." Cole asked
"Don't open that door!." Jay yelled, Cole opens the door as everyone screams, but nothing happens
"Well, that was anticlimactic." Kai said as they noticed it was a dojo
"Sensei Yangs dojo. This is where he must've trained his pupils." Kai told them
"Or got rid of them." Jay said worriedly
"Jay, he was strict, not a monster." (Y/N) clarified
"How do you know? How do you know?!." Jay yelled shaking (Y/N)
"Knock it off, guys. If that wasn't you behind the rattling door, who was it?." Cole asked
"The Ghost of Sensei Yang!." They all yelled expect for Cole as Yangs Ghost appeared
"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student." Yang said
"It's the Ghost of Sensei Yang!." They all yelled
"Uh, guys, what does he mean by sharpen?." Jay asked as he sees the swords in the wall start moving
"Let's not hang around to find out!." Cole yelled
"Run!." (Y/N) yelled as they ran away
"Let's get out of here!." Kai yelled as they run screaming as bats chase them
"Does this mean he doesn't want to teach us Airjitzu?." Jay asked
"Forget Airjitzu, where's the window?." Kai asked
"This way!." Cole yelled as they panicked trying to open the window, only to find it locked
"Gah, we're caged in like animals!." Jay yelled as Yang laughed
"(Y/N)! Your powers! Open it!." Kai yelled
"No time! Let's try the front door!." Cole yelled
"But that's downstairs, and in case you haven't paid any attention, there's flying weapons trying to slice and dice us!." Kai yelled
"THERES A DUMBWAITER!." Zane yelled as he pointed behind Jay
"Zane, now's not the time to insult Jay! Even if it lightens the mood- oh a dumbwaiter, that can take us down." (Y/N) smiled as they go in the dumbwaiter
"You said there'd be enough room for all four of us in here." Jay groaned
"He didn't say that." (Y/N) said
"Whose side are you on?." Jay asked
"My side." (Y/N) shrugged
"Well, turn on a light or something, because I can't see a thing." Cole ordered as Zane illuminated the dumbwaiter only to see Sensei Yang

The ninja quickly run away
... as iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student!." Yang yelled as the ninja open the front door, but almost falls down the Ethereal Divide
"What is it? What's down there? Oh, wait, don't tell me! I don't want to know!." Jay yelled
"WE APPEAR TO BE TRAPPED WITHIN SOME KIND OF INTER-DIMENSION ETHEREAL REALM!." Zane yelled
"Oh just what we need!." (Y/N) yelled as the ninja get pulled back inside, Yang laughs to himself

Meanwhile Misako is serving  a customer
"Thank you for coming back to Steep Wisdom. Here's a little something extra." Misako smiled as Ronin snatched a small bag from the customer
"Woah! We're a business, not a charity. We're here to make money, not friends." Ronin told Misako
"Thanks, and come again... I hope." Misako said as the customer left
Ronin goes outside and sees Nya
"I'm not quitting, I'm just taking a break!." Nya yelled at Ronin, she looks around
"You have to get me out of here." Nya begged Ronin
"I thought you can't go until your trainings done. Besides, I have a business to run." Ronin told Nya
"If I'm gonna help the ninja, it's gonna be as Samurai X." Nya told Ronin
"Take the Bounty. Oh I see. That would bring too much attention. Wu's my partner, I'd never do anything behind his back." Ronin said as Nya pulls out a sack of money
"I'll give you a ride after we close." Ronin told Nya

The ninja finally avoid all of Yangs tricks
"Ah, all right, so there's no way out of the Haunted Temple, but at least all the commotions died down." Jay sighed
"But for how long?." (Y/N) asked
"(Y/N) right, for how long? But for how, we just gotta get through the night together. Show Yang we're not scared. Huh?." Kai turns around at a portrait of Yang, he doesn't see it moving, the clock chimes scaring the ninja, (Y/N) destroys it with his powers
"Uh, too much?." (Y/N) chuckled nervously
"It's just a clock. We're not afraid of time, but we are afraid of not getting outta here in time. Oh my gosh, why did we spend the night in a haunted temple?." Cole asked
"EVERYONE, GET AHOLD OF YOURSELVES! EVEN IF MY VOLUME WASNT STUCK, I'D STILL BE YELLING AT THIS DECIBEL!." Zane yelled
"Zane's right. What are we doing? We need to toughen up. We're ninja! We already missed out on the Airjitzu the first time, we can't let this opportunity pass." Cole told them
"Uh, guys?." Kai asked looking at a picture of a ship in the sea
"Are paintings supposed to move?." Kai asked
"Repeat what you just said again... slowly." (Y/N) looked at Kai, Jay taps the picture, the room starts to flood, Kai backs away
"Why did you touch the scary picture, Jay?." Cole asked
"I didn't know it would do that, Cole!." Jay yelled as Kai tries to open the doors
"Ugh! It's locked! Ugh!." Kai yelled
"Oh great, we're gonna drown." (Y/N) groaned
"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student!." Yang yelled
"Oh great, back for round two." Jay groaned as Kai began hyperventilating
"Water. I'm afraid of... water. We're all gonna drown!." Kai yelled as he tugs on the door harder as Jay grabs onto a plank
"It's all in your head, Kai. He's trying to scare us out so we don't get Airjitzu." Jay told Kai as Cole swims up to the surface
"I don't know, tastes pretty really to me." Cole told Jay
"WHERES KAI?!." Zane yelled
"Oh that idiots gonna get himself killed!." (Y/N) yelled as he takes a deep breath and swims down, Kai kept tugging the door, (Y/N) pulled him off the door and shoves him back, Kai looked confused as (Y/N) powered his fist and destroys the door, freeing them, Kai and (Y/N) coughed
"Well, that wasn't refreshing." Kai coughed
"You're an idiot Kai." (Y/N) coughed as he gets up
"First the haunting, then water. What's next?." Cole asked as Jay pieced the puzzle together
"That's it, he is testing us. Don't you see, Cole's afraid of Ghosts, and Kai's afraid of water." Jay told them
"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student. He's making us face our fears." Kai realised
"Which means whatever he throws at us next, we have to face together. And this time, no running away." Cole told them
"Or swimming away." Jay added
"Fine, but times running out and if we don't figure out a way of staying in this together, none of us are gonna get out alive." Kai told them

Ronin puts Nyas stash of money into a safe with other cash as they fly away on R.E.X to the Samurai X cave
"Pretend you didn't see that." Ronin told Nya as he pilots R.E.X
"Should be at the Samurai X cave shortly. Make yourself comfortable." Ronin told Nya
"For someone so desperate for money, you sure have a lot of it." Nya said looking at Ronin
"Let's just say I owe someone a large debt." Ronin told Nya
"Unless you like awkward pauses, do tell." Nya said as Ronin sighs
"I made a few bets in my life, and if I don't pay off the Soul Archer, my souls going to the Cursed Realm." Ronin told Nya
"And you think cashing in on our farm will save your hide? You're a real gentleman." Nya glared at Ronin
"Save it, sweetheart. Unlike you, I don't have a ninja support system. It's me and me alone. Speaking of which, who else knows about your secret cave?." Ronin asked
"No one but (Y/N) and myself." Nya told Ronin
"Well, it looks like we're not alone." Ronin said as Nya gasps seeing the entrance open, they go in and hide behind a rock seeing Morro and the ghosts
"Morro's here. He already knows Airjitzu, what does he want with the mechs?." Nya whispered
"Yeah, well, the Soul Archers here too, so now would be a good time to leave." Ronin said as Nya stops him from leaving
"If I can't help my friends as the Water Ninja, I can help them as a Samurai." Nya told Ronin
"I've got a bad feeling about this." Ronin said as Nya gets on her Samurai X mech
"Sorry to crash the party, but this place looks a little dead." Nya said
"The girl. Get her!." Morro yelled as Nya tried to use her weapons against the ghosts to no effect
"All right, maybe my weapons can't help." Nya admitted as Ronin uses an Aeroblade to stop Soul Archers arrow
"But this can." Ronin said as Soul Archer looked at Ronin
"Ronin." Soul Archer glared
"Yeah, that's my name. Don't wear it out." Ronin told him as he sees Morro summoning more ghosts
"He's conjuring reinforcements!." Ronin yelled
"That I can deal with." Nya said as she shoots a bomb at him, the bomb sticks onto the armour
"You're gonna blow up your friend?." Ronin asked
"Oh, yeah. Maybe I didn't think that through." Nya admitted as Morro throws the amour away before it could explode
"Destroy them!." Morro yelled
Nya ejects from the Mech and Ghoultar possess it
"We can't fight them all, we gotta leave!." Ronin yelled to Nya
"No! They're not taking my suit!." Nya yelled
"Then I'm taking you!." Robin yelled as he throws her over his shoulder and runs away
"Let go of me!." Nya yelled as they ran out of the cave
"Don't let them get away!." Morro ordered as they followed behind
Ronin whistles and summons R.E.X, but Morro gets there before he does
"Boo." Morro said
"Aah!." Ronin screamed as the mech arrived
"Woah!." Ronin yelled
"Ghoultar never let you leave!." Ghoultar yelled as Ronin backed up slowly
"Hey guys. There's gotta be a deal we can strike here, huh?." Ronin asked nervously as it starts raining, Soul Archer and Bansha take cover under the Mech-enstein
"We have what we came for. Leave em." Morro told them as he flies off on his Dragon, the other follow
"Rain? In the middle of the dry season?." Ronin asked
"What luck, right?." Nya asked
"That ain't luck, sweetheart. Face it, Nya. You are the Water Ninja." Ronin told Nya who looked at her hands

The ninja tied themself together with a rope
"All right, no matter what happens, no one can run away. We're in this together." Cole said
"Haha! Ain't no thang but a Sensei Yang. Let's find him and get that Airjitzu." Jay smiled
"And then we can put this nightmare behind us." (Y/N) said
"Just so we're not surprised. Zane, Jay, (Y/N), what sort of things are you afraid of?." Kai asked
"AH! I THINK I KNOW WHAT IM AFRAID OF!." Zane yelled as they see Morro
"ITS MORRO!." Zane yelled as they scream
"Of all the times to have to fight him again." Cole said fearful
"Ugh, and he already knows Airjitzu. We don't stand a chance!." Jay yelled
"Wait a minute. If we're all afraid of Morro, this must be the next test. And how are we supposed to save Lloyd if we don't even have the courage to face him?." Kai asked
"He's right. Let's get him!." Cole yelled as Morro runs, they ran after him, but due to being tied up they slow down
"We weren't fast enough." Cole said
"There he is!." Kai yelled seeing Morro
"All right. Let's step together. One, two, three. One, two, three." Cole repeated, they run in sync until Kai stops at a set of stairs, Jay accidentally hits Zane
"Ow!." Jay groaned as (Y/N) ran into him, making Jay hit Zane again
"OW!." Jay yelled louder again
"Sorry." (Y/N) apologised
"He went up to the attic." Kai said
"Uh, attics. Definitely near the top of the list of things I'm afraid of." Jay said as they go up and see Morro
"He's just standing there. What do we do?." Jay asked
"I don't know. But go face him, Jay." Kai told Jay
"Ugh, you face him!." Jay yelled
"Well all face him." Cole said as they approach Morro, he then disappeared startling then. The ninja jump back and they see Yang
"As iron sharpens iron, Sensei sharpens student. You have passed the test." Yang told them
"Huh? Then you'll teach how to do Airjitzu?." Kai asked as Yang shows the a scroll
"Only those who see things through will real the benefit of the reward." Yang said as he gives Cole the scroll
"That's not the only thing we see through. Why is it I can see through my hand?!." Jay yelled as Yang laughs
"We're becoming ghosts!." (Y/N) yelled
"Now you will join my students." Yang told them as several ghost rise up from behind him
"He's not just their mentor, he's their captor!." Cole yelled
"The new dawns upon us. Get out of here before the clocks last chime, if you can." Yang told them as everyone screams but falls down the stairs
"WHY DID WE TIE OURSELVES TOGETHER?!." Zane yelled
"There's no time to complain, we just have to move." Cole told them as they ran
"The door! Hurry!." Kai yelled as they see the door, Cole drops the scroll
"Uh oh! Aah! The scroll!." Cole yelled as he untied himself to grab it, the others got out just in time
"Ah, my hand. I can see my hand! We made it!." Kai cheered
"Just in time too." (Y/N) smiled as Jay holds up Cole's rope
"Ugh, but where's Cole?." Jay asked as Cole walked out holding the scroll
"Don't worry, I got the scroll!." Cole yelled waving it around, everyone gasps
"Why are you all looking at me like that?." Cole asked
"Cole... you didn't make it out in time." (Y/N) said worriedly
"Yeah, Cole, you're a... a...
Cole looks at himself and gasps in horror
"I'm a... ghost!." Cole yelled as Yang laughs, the ninja comfort Cole who looked depressed
