Season 5 Episode 50: Kingdom Come

On the summit of the Wailing Alps, Morro gathers up with the rest of the ghosts
"Ugh, those cursed ninja. I need to get to Cloud Kingdom now!." Morro yelled
"Patience Morro. Wanting to get to the Cloud Kingdom will not bring its portal any closer." Soul Archer said angering Morro
"But I hate waiting! It's beneath me. If the ninja get the Sword of Sanctuary before we do, they'll have the upper hand." Morro said worried
"I've never know you to worry." Soul Archer spoke surprised
"It's this incessant boy trying to break free of my possession!." Morro grunted
"You will not have to wait any longer, Morro." Bansha said as she held her head
"But how? The gateway won't pass for hours." Soul Archer looked confused
"Let's just say I'm in contact with someone willing to leave the back door open." Bansha told him

Meanwhile, the ninja approached the gates of Cloud Kingdom, a man walked down stairs to meet them
"Welcome to Cloud Kingdom. We've been expecting you." Fenwick smiled
"Ha, how are we-
"Standing on a cloud? Easy. In other Realms, there are other rules. I'm Fenwick. I've been asked to show you around." Fenwick introduced after cutting Jay off
"Nice to meet you. I'm-
"Kai, yes, we all know. You're quite popular with the other monks. Up here, we see everything that goes on in Ninjago. Except for one thing that we had no knowledge of." Fenwick said as he slightly glanced at (Y/N), no one noticed
"Then you know-
"You've traveled far for the Sword of Sanctuary, a powerful weapon that can foresee your opponents next attack. It's also the second clue to finding the Tomb of the First Spinjtizu Master." Fenwick said cutting Cole off
"So then, can you-
"Take you to it? Of course I can, but I wish to give you all a tour of our humble kingdom." Fenwick smiled cutting (Y/N) off
"Blimey. But how be you-
"Finishing your sentences? I know, it's rather annoying, but up here we know, let's just say... we know what's going to come next... except for one thing I mentioned before hand." Fenwick said slightly glancing at (Y/N) again, this time (Y/N) noticed and looked confused
"Come, I know Morro isn't far behind. Follow me and I'll explain." Fenwick said as they entered the Kingdom

Meanwhile on the Bounty, Nya, Wu, Misako and Ronin interrogate Ghoultar who was stuck behind Vengestone bars
"Deepstone bars. You're never getting out of here. Now tell us, what's in the tomb that's so important?." Nya asked
"What does Morro want?." Wu asked
"Ghoultar never talk. Oops, Ghoultar talked. Uh, Ghoultar no talk from now on." Ghoultar said crossing his arms
"Oh, I'll get him talkin'." Ronin said as he raised his Aeroblade, Wu stopped him
"No, Ronin. We must find another way to get answers out of him." Wu said as Ghoultar laughs
"Let him laugh. The ninja are already in Cloud Kingdom and we'll ahead of Morro. Let's just hope they can find the Sword of Sanctuary before it's too late." Misako said
"We must use our time wisely. Come Nya, there's still training to be done. As for Ghoultar, keep an eye on him, Ronin." Wu ordered
"Don't worry old man. I've got him." Ronin reassured as they left

The ninja and Fenwick walk into the library where the monks are writing on scrolls, they took notice of the ninja
"Wow, it's the ninja." A monk wowed
"I know you're familiar with a few realms. Cloud Kingdom is just one more of the Sixteen Realms that exist parallel to Ninjago." Fenwick told them
"Sixteen Realms?." Kai asked looking confused
"In this realm, we strive for greater understanding and let go of distractions. There is no television, no video-games-
"No video-games? Hmmph. Not impressed." Jay crossed his arms while Zane looked around
"It appears all any lad does here be writing." Zane said
"That is because here, our words matter. You see, in Cloud Kingdom, we are the Writers of Destiny. It was here that it was decided that Lloyd should be the Green Ninja. And just now, that Zane should find his voice." Fenwick said as Zane regained his original voice back
"I sense my vocal pattern has returned without any repairs." Zane said in his original voice
"Ugh! He doesn't talk like a pirate anymore." Jay groaned
"Hang on, you said you wrote it that Lloyd was destined to be the Green Ninja, but wasn't it also destined (Y/N) to be chosen as the Purple Ninja so he could fight along side the Green Ninja? Like what the prophecy states." Kai asked looking confused
"Ah yes, the fabled Purple Ninja, there's something here that I haven't told you." Fenwick said as they looked confused
"Do tell." Cole said
"We are the Writers of Destiny as you know, we write all, but there was something that happened without our knowledge, a creation of the Overlord, it should've been impossible for us not to notice, but we never did until many years later." Fenwick told them
"So... I'm a mistake?." (Y/N) asked
"I wouldn't say a mistake... more like a rare occurrence, something unique, (Y/N), I believe your destiny is far more important then we can write, we can guide your destiny, but it seems like as your creation happened, you could write your own destiny." Fenwick explained as everyone gasped
"So, me going against the Overlord was my destiny and not your work?." (Y/N) asked
"Precisely, this is very rare for anyone to differ, only two have ever had this occurrence, The Overlord and the First Spinjtizu Master." Fenwick said as everyone gasped
"Woah." The ninja wowed
"Anyways, back on track, if you know what's going to happened next, then you know how important it is for us to get the Sword of Sanctuary." Kai said getting back on track
"Yes, and I know you made a promise to save your friend, Lloyd. Sadly, we cannot ensure promises, because we aren't allowed to choose sides." Fenwick said before whispering to the ninja
"And no one else will tell you this, but we had intended for Morro to stay in the Cursed Realm." Fenwick whispered
"What do you mean, intended?." Cole asked
"He was never supposed to escape. He somehow defied destiny. And now we're playing catch up." Fenwick said as he looked at Cole
"Do you think we wanted you to become a Ghost? That's preposterous. Ever since Morro. Role free, things have been happening outside of our control. To be honest, we don't know how this will end." Fenwick told them
"Then quit talking and give us the sword. We'll find the tomb and stop Morro." Kai said
"Look, we wanted to give it to you, but first. The Master Writer wants to see you." Fenwick said
"Fine, then show us to this Master Writer." Kai said impatient, they started walking
"I'm getting the feeling he's stalling." (Y/N) whispered to Cole
"I think you might have a point, what's the plan?." Cole whispered back
"Keep guard, I sense a sinister plot hatching." (Y/N) whispered as they kept walking

Meanwhile on the Bounty, Ghoultar dances to music
"Ghoultar did good?." Ghoultar asked laughing
"Ha! With basic vocabulary? Not so much. But being big and nasty? You deserve a medal." Ronin said
"Remember deal you made with Soul Archer?." Ghoultar asked as Ronin slightly panicked
"Quiet, you nasty ball of gas." Ronin told him
"Convincing you were back in Samurai Cave. Maybe time to make good." Ghoultar said
"I'll make good, but not now. Don't worry, I'll keep my end of the bargain just as long as Soul Archer keeps his." Ronin said
"It will be our little secret." Ghoultar laughs

Fenwick leads the ninja to a skiff
"So this Master Writer, he'll decide if we get the sword just by looking at us?." Cole asked skeptical
"It is an important decision, one that will not only decide the fate of Ninjago, but the fate of the Sixteen Realms." Fenwick explained
"Do you know what's inside the tomb?." Kai asked as they flew through clouds
"I do. Morros after the Realm Crystal. It's the doorway to the Sixteen Realms." Fenwick explained as they see a giant Realm Crystal in the clouds
"Wow!." Jay yelled amazed
"It is a bridge to greater understanding... or a gateway to ruin. When the First Spinjtizu Master created it, he knew the power to freely cross realms could never fall into the wrong hands, which is why he buried it with him in his final resting place. A tomb protected by impossible traps that only a Master of Spinjtizu could get by with the aid of the Sword of Sanctuary." Fenwick explained
"But I thought Morro just wanted to be the Green Ninja. What does he want with the Crystal?." Cole asked
"It is not Morro who sees the power to ruin, but his master, the Preeminent." Fenwick said much to the ninjas surprise
"The Cursed Realm. He's in charge?." Kai asked
"Not he, but she. Queen of the Cursed, an evil so vengeful, she cannot crossover by any other magical means. But if Morro uses the Crystal to free her, after cursing Ninjago, there will be no stopping her reign until every last Realm falls under her control." Fenwick explained which shocked the Ninja, they soon arrived at a building
"We're here! Wasn't that a lovely ride?." Fenwick asked smiling
"Yeah sure, but we can't waste anymore time that we already lost, let's just meet this Master Writer and get out of here before Morro and his ghost gang come back." (Y/N) said
"Yes. My apologise, but this shouldn't take too long, I can assure you, the Master Writer is very excited to meet you." Fenwick smiled as they walked inside
"I will be back with the Master Writer in a moment." Fenwick said as he closes and locks the door
"Oh look, a pinball machine!." Jay smiled as he plays it
"Ah, it may not be a video-game, but it's the next best thing." Jay smiled as he played, Zane observed the stuff animals
"Strange place to meet this Master Writer." Zane spoke confused
"You have a bad feeling about this?." Cole whispered to (Y/N)
"Yeah, I do, keep your guard up." (Y/N) whispered
"Yeah!." Jay laughs as he plays
"Hey, leave that stuff alone. We want to make a good first impression." Cole said
"Oh, just one game. Whoever had this high score is going down." Jay smiled as they hear a distant sound
"That machine sounds strange." Zane said as Jay loses, he groans, he stops playing only for the sound to continue
"Oh, that's not the machine!." Jay yelled
"Then what is it?." Kai asked as Nimbus comes out and roars at them
"Beast!." (Y/N) yelled as the ninja scream

Meanwhile, Nobu is writing on a scroll, he gasps as the writing turns red
"Master Writer! Master Writer! It's the ninja! They're in terrible trouble!." Nobu yelled to Fenwick who smiled
"Of course they are." Fenwick said as Nobu sees the ghosts
"Do not be shy, our new guests and I have made a mutual arrangement. My destiny is secure. I am afraid the ninjas are not." Fenwick smiled
"Where did you send the ninja?." Nobu asked
"I locked them away with Nimbus. I am sure Nimbus will love his new playthings." Fenwick said
"Now show me to the Sword of Sanctuary." Morro said as Fenwick left

The ninja keep screaming as Nimbus slowly approached
"I don't think he likes you trying to break his record." Kai said worriedly as they walked back
"There goes our good first impression." Cole said
"(Y/N), can't you use your powers on him?." Jay asked
"And what? What if it does nothing to him? What if it makes him angrier?." (Y/N) suggested
"I thought you could make your own destiny!." Jay yelled
"I can make my own destiny, I can't change destiny itself!." (Y/N) yelled, Jay tried to open the door
"It's locked. Why would it be locked?!." Jay yelled frantic as Nimbus grabs him and shocks him
"Okay, so now I know how that feels." Jay groaned
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted Fenwick!." (Y/N) yelled
"Yeah, well let's just figure out how to survive first! Look out!." Kai yelled as Nimbus slashes at them, Kai jumps behind a giant stuffed animal
"Over here, big guy." Kai said as Nimbus hugs the stuffed animal
"Ah, oh, so you like your toys, huh?." Kai asked as he grabs a smaller toy
"Stay, big fella, or I'll break it, stay, stay." Kai said as Nimbus got worried
"Hurry, find a way outta here." Kai said as Cole phases from the wall abit
"What am I doing? I'm a ghost." Cole realised as he walks through the wall
"Oh, I'm such a dummy." Cole groaned as he runs over to the door as Jay looks through the lock
"You can undo the locks!." Jay yelled
"I'm a ghost, not a locksmith. I need a key." Cole said
"Be the key, Cole. Be the key!." Jay yelled
"Oh, good idea." Cole smiled as he goes inside the keyhole and frees the ninja
"You know Cole. I'm staring to like you as a ghost more and more." Kai smiled as they spot Fenwick and Morro
"Look! Morro is here! With Fenwick!." Zane yelled
"I knew he was somebody we shouldn't trust!." (Y/N) yelled
"Come on!." Cole yelled as they leave, but Cole forgets to lock the door, Nimbus slowly opens it and peers outside

"The sanctuary is on the top floor." Fenwick told Morro
Nobu hears the ninja climbing up to him
"Fingers tired. Legs about to give." Kai groaned
"Ow! Stop using my face as a foothold. You're not making this any easier." Jay groaned
"Shush, unless we wanna get caught." (Y/N) hushed them
"You're alive!." Nobu smiled
"Oh, too late." (Y/N) sighed
"It's okay, I have no part in Fenwicks plan." Nobu said as (Y/N) nodded
"Why did Fenwick betray us?." Zane asked
"Well, Fenwicks convinced there's no way to stop the Queen of the Cursed, so he's agreed to help Morro only to help himself. But he doesn't know you've escaped. You have to get the Sword of Sanctuary, or else Morro will have too big of an advantage." Nobu explained
"Tell us where it is." Cole demanded
"The tallest tower. But you must hurry, they're already headed there." Nobu told them
"Argh, there's not enough time." (Y/N) groaned
"You're right, there isn't, but you know what I'm thinking?." Kai asked
"Airjitzu?." Everyone asked but Jay
"Cyclondo?." Jay groans
"Why isn't it catching on?." Jay asked
"Cause it's stupid." (Y/N) said as Jay sighs
"Be careful little monk." Cole told Nobu
"You too." Nobu replied
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled as they use Airjitzu and used skiffs as platforms
"Sorry, just passing through." Cole apologised as they kept flying

Morro meanwhile approaches the sword
"The Sword of Sanctuary." Morro said as he sees the ninja in the reflection
"Aah!." Morro yelled as he looks but sees no one
"Huh? Oh." Morro realised as they tried to fight Morro, he dodged all their moves
"Too late. I know your every move." Morro laughs as he holds the sword
"We'll see about that." Kai said as they fight, Morro dodged and countered them, he then jumps out of the window
"I think he saw that too." Jay said as they just led out as see Morro
"There he is." Kai said
"Get him." Cole said as Morro escapes from them
"I hate that sword." Kai groaned as Morro deflects (Y/N)'s powers
"Why fight? I'll win every time." Morro smiled
"Doesn't mean we can't try." Cole said as Morro uses his Wind to throw bricks at them
"Watch out!." Kai yelled as (Y/N) blasts them with his powers
"Cyclondo!." Jay yelled as they use Airjitzu to get to safety
"Bye, bye ninja." Morro said as he lands on a skiff possessed by Soul Archer and Bansha
"Sing them a farewell song, Bansha." Morro said as Bansha screeches making the ninja land on a skiff
"Still passing through." Cole said before getting an idea
"Uh, on second thought, mind if we borrow your skiff?." Cole asked
"The eye. Perfect. Now get us out of here!." Morro yelled as the ninja followed behind
"Aargh! How do you control this thing?." Cole asked as Nimbus grabs onto their skiff
"We forgot to lock the door." (Y/N) realised
"Get him off! Morro's getting away!." Jay yelled as Nobu notices, he gasps and runs off
"I've got to do something!." Nobu yelled as he runs into the library
"Fenwick, Fenwick, Fenwick, Fenwick. Aha!." Nobu smiled as he grabs Fenwicks scroll
"Let's change Fenwicks destiny a bit." Nobu said as Fenwick walks around smiling, Nimbus sees Fenwick and jumps down, Fenwick screams being chased by Nimbus
"Haha! Karma!." (Y/N) laughed
"Look! There!." Kai yelled as they see Morro go through the eye
"Hold on to your buckets, gang. Looks like the ride ain't over yet!." Cole yelled as they go through the eye which brings them back to the Wailing Alps, they no longer fly
"Ah! Ehh aren't we flying anymore?!." Jay yelled
"Realms have different rules!." (Y/N) yelled as they catch up to Morro
"Aha! Got you now!." Kai yelled
"You really think so?." Morro asked as he blows them in another direction
"Obstacle detected. Collision certainty. 100 percent." PIXAL said
"Abandon ship!." Zane yelled as the ship crashes, only for the ninja to use the debris as skis
"Ah! Haha. Hello, haven't we met before?." Zane asked as Morro got annoyed
"Don't they ever quit?." Morro asked annoyed
"Hmm, let me think... nah." (Y/N) laughed
"Your ride is kind of slow, huh?." Kai runs into a tree
"Oh, why do I get the uncontrollable sled?!." Jay yelled riding the front part of the skiff
"Hold on, Jay." Cole told Jay as Soul Archer aims at Jay with an arrow, Jay dodged
"Haha, missed!." Jay laughed
"I never miss." Soul Archer said, Jay screams as the arrow chases him, but it collides with a log instead
"Phew, hahaha." Jay laughed

Meanwhile, the others try to interrogate Ghoultar with food
"Still won't talk, hmm? Guess it's time to bring in the big buns. He's all yours, Misako." Wu said as she holds a tray of Puffy Potstickers
"Puffy Potstickers?." Misako asked Ghoultar
"Ghoultar not strong enough. Ghoultar want! Ghoultar tell everything!." Ghoultar yelled as Kai came on the intercom
"Come in Bounty! Come in! Hope your keys aren't cold, causes we're coming in hot!." Kai yelled
"The ninja. Everyone to your stations." Wu order as Misako drops the potstickers, and the keys, they run to the main deck
"Morro had the Sword of Sanctuary." Misako said
"We know what Morro wants with the tomb. He's after a crystal that can unleash the Preeminent to curse the Sixteen Realms." Kai told them
"Then we must work together to make sure that doesn't happen, Nya, get us into the action." Wu ordered
"You heard what he said." Nya said looking at Ronin
"Why do you all run towards the action? We should be running away." Ronin said as Nya hops on the water ballon cannon
"Let's see how you like these water balloons." Nya said as the ghost dodged the balloons, they hit Jay instead
"Hahahah!." (Y/N) laughed
"Hey! Watch it!." Jay yelled
"Sorry!." Nya yelled as she reloads the cannons, Ghoultar attacks her and Soul Archer aims an arrow at her, he fires, Robin uses his Aeroblade to stop it before it hits her
"Good job Ronin. But who's flying the ship?." Nya asked
"That would be me, I guess." Ronin said as he runs into the bridge, Ghoultar jumps off the Bounty and lands on the Ghost skiff, weighing it down
"You big oaf. How are you slowing us down? You're a ghost!." Morro yelled
"Ghoultar likes Puffy Potstickers." Ghoultar rubbed his belly

The bounty flies to the ninja, Wu hands on the Bountys anchor
"Need a lift?." Wu asked as everyone but Kai and (Y/N) hop on
"Go! I can watch them." Kai told them
"Not alone you aren't." (Y/N) said as they go back up
Morro sees Kai and (Y/N) using their Aeroblades on the sword
"Watch out!." Morro yelled as they dodged the Aeroblades, they hit the mast and damage it
"You two again." Morro glared
"You say that as if it's a bad thing." Kai said as they jump onto their skiff
"Ready for round three ghost boy?." (Y/N) cracked his knuckles
"I'm always ready for a rematch." Morro cracked his knuckles
Meanwhile on the bounty
"Oh, I've lost sight of Kai and (Y/N)." Jay groaned
"Keep following them." Wu ordered
"I guess our fates are tested. The thing is, I already know how mine will end." Morro said as he disarmed Kai and kicked (Y/N) back
"And now I knew how yours will." Morro said as he raised his sword on the duo
"You'd fight someone unarmed?." Kai asked as Morro hesitated
"That's a good question. Yes!." Morro yelled as he goes to strike them, only for Lloyd to stop him
"Take the sword, Kai! (Y/N)! I can't hold him much longer!." Lloyd yelled
"Lloyd?." Kai and (Y/N) stared at him, Kai grabs the sword as (Y/N) grabs their Aeroblades
"You can fight him Lloyd. You're stinger than he is. Just fight him. Lloyd! Fight him!." Kai yelled as Morro starts taking control again
"You didn't give up on me when the Overlord took control of me, I'm not letting you give up by some Green Ninja wannabe!." (Y/N) yelled as Morro gets full control
"I... am the Green Ninja!." Morro yelled as he attacked (Y/N) and Kai
"Hate to spoil this next, but just cause your in my friends body, watch out!." Kai yelled as Kai kicks Morro
"I think you're going down. Right...
Kai and (Y/N) use Airjitzu as the skiff and Morro fall off the cliff
.... Now! Sorry Lloyd." Kai apologised
"Don't stress, Lloyd won't be mad, he knows this is the right thing to do." (Y/N) said as they go back to the Bounty
"You got the sword, but how?." Wu asked confused
"How else? Working together. Lloyd fought Morro like a true hero." Kai said
"It may not have lasted long, but he did more then we could ever ask for." (Y/N) said
"If Morro defied destiny, then why not us?." Cole asked
"He may have gotten Airjitzu first-
"Uh-uh, you mean Cyclondo?." Jay asked as Zane sighs
"Call it Cyclondo again Jay, and I'm erasing your save files." (Y/N) said annoyed as Jay looked worried
"Sorry." Jay apologised
"But back on track, we got the sword!." Cole yelled as everyone cheers
"Now all we have to do if find the tomb, then it's smooth sailing." Wu said
"But who here knows where the tomb is?." Ronin asked ruining the mood
"Oh, man." Cole groaned
"Come on, you all seemed so confident!." Ronin yelled
"Ugh, you ruin everything!." Nya yelled at Ronin

Later on the Bounty, Nya keeps training her powers, (Y/N) watches
"So, you're gonna be a ninja now?." (Y/N) asked startling Nya
"Why do you have to do that?." Nya asked annoyed
"Sorry, thought I'd see how you're doing, considering you did the same thing when I first unlocked my powers." (Y/N) smirked as he walked up to Nya who sighed
"Are you okay?." (Y/N) asked
"It's just, not to long ago, I thought you had died, and then before that, you came into my life, to think we went from strangers, to friends, to a couple." Nya said as (Y/N) held her hands
"There's no one I would rather be with than you, I mean that." (Y/N) said as they passionately kiss
"I love you." Nya smiled
"I love you more, Nya." (Y/N) smiled as they hugged, Wu and Misako watch them
"They're a perfect match." Misako smiled
"Yes, I'm proud on how far their relationship has come, I knew from when he first laid eyes on her he was in love." Wu smiled
"Let's give them their privacy." Misako smiled as (Y/N) and Nya kiss again
