Season 2 Episode 18: Childs play

The next day, the ninja on the reclaimed Bounty, Lloyd stands on the deck sadly as he watches kids play on Jamanakai village
"Come on. You're in, ha, you can't catch me." Red shirt boy laughed as he ends up piled on by two kids
"Oh, here I go." Green sweatshirt kid said as he kicks the ball over to the other kids
"Woah." Red shirt boy wowed
"Oh, yeah. Good one." Blue shirt kid smiled
The kids at the wall try to grab the ball, but falls back as the ball hits the wall, some kids cheer as the others look defeated, Lloyd watches them and sighs
"Lloyd? Lloyd! Concentrate!." Kai yelled over as Lloyd looks at him
"Now that the Bounty is in our possession again, we can train you more effectively. But you'll have to focus. One more time." Zane said
"Oh, but we've been training all day." Lloyd complained
"Lloyd don't worry, we just want what's best for you." (Y/N) said as Lloyd sighs
"And it's all to get you ready to help (Y/N) face against your father, now, in position." Cole said as Lloyd sighed, he walks up to the middle of the deck as the ninja out their hoods in and yawns before posing
"Whatever." Lloyd sighed, Kai charged Lloyd first, but he punches him, knocking him back and yawns again, Zane and Jay soon come at him at from the air
"Ninja! Go!." Lloyd uses Spinjtizu knocking them both down, Cole sneaks behind Lloyd and slide kicks him from behind, knocking him into the air, as he spins (Y/N) jumps over and grabs Lloyd before pinning him to the ground, they looked concerned at Lloyd
"Lloyd? Are you okay?." (Y/N) asked
"Oh yes I am, that was fun. Are we done?." Lloyd asked
"Oh come on. You're better than this. What's on your mind?." Jay asked as Lloyd gets up
"Well... the latest issue of Starfarer just came in Doomsday Comix and it's a limited run, so if I don't go out and get it, it's going to seek out. Last they left off, intergalactic rouge Fritz Donnegan was surrounded by the Imperial Sludge, and if I don't find out if he gets out alright, I think I might have my own doomsday." Lloyd explained
"Is this what's wrong? I mean I can just take you down to the comic shop once we're done training." (Y/N) said as Lloyd smiled
"Really?!." Lloyd looked hyped
"Sorry (Y/N) but I have to burst your bubble, Lloyd as the Green Ninja, you and (Y/N) have a giant responsibility to hold, I'm sorry, but you don't have time for such childish things." Kai explained as Lloyd sighed sadly, he walks to the railing which is almost out of Jamanakai village, he hears the children's playing in the distance
"Great going Kai, the kids upset all because he can't have one thing." (Y/N) glared at Kai
"Well, he needs to worry about training more than anything." Kai said as (Y/N) got frustrated
"You know, I have been in Lloyd's shoes when I was a kid, Wu constantly trained me daily, he made me train whenever I had the chance too, I was ripped from my childhood, I never had what other kids had, so don't make the same mistake with Lloyd like what Wu did with me." (Y/N) said walking away as the four ninja looked at each other, as (Y/N) walked he saw Wu who only stood there upset
"(Y/N)... im sorry...
"It's okay Sensei, what you did made me a great man, all I want it Lloyd to have a childhood while he has the chance, before we know it, he won't be the little kid we all know forever." (Y/N) said as Wu nodded before the duo hugged, Nya comes above deck
"Hey, I gotta go." (Y/N) said as Wu nodded
(Y/N) runs over to Nya
"Hey what's wrong?." (Y/N) asked as the other four walked up to her
"Well, there's been a break in at the Ninjago City Museum of History and the security cameras picked up you-know-who." Nya said as they came to a realisation
"Garmadon!." Cole yelled
"Wow, he's getting worse at his secretive missions now." (Y/N) said 
"We have to stop him before he uses the Mega Weapon to start another one of the dilogbical plots." Jay said as Lloyd walks over hopping to come only for the five to look at him, he sighs sadly
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can't go and it's safer if I stay here and train." Lloyd said as (Y/N) placed a hand on his shoulder
"One day little buddy, one day you will get to help us." (Y/N) smiled as Lloyd sadly nodded
The ninja several minutes later are outside Ninjago City, the ninja are in the Ultra Sonic Raider
"We'll meet up at the Bounty as soon as we're done." Kai said
"We'll be waiting for your safe return." Nya said as they soon take off, Lloyd sighs
"Too old for comic books and too young to fight. When are they gonna make up their minds? I feel like (Y/N) is the only one who can ever relate to me." Lloyd said sadly
"Well, cause (Y/N) was in your shoes one point of time, now come on pint size. Show me what you got." Nya said as Lloyd yawns before walking away

Later that night, at the museum, Jay tosses a rope down as they climb down a nearby window and open it, they climb down to a railing before Jay shushes them. In the main room. Skales, with a flashlight moves in as the other generals and fellow serpentine follow behind, Skales looks at a replica of the Charge of the Dark Brigade
"Boy, did they get that wrong!." Skales said as he resumes moving along the museum
"Why would we come to a museum if we aren't going to steal anything from it?." Acidicus asked
"Because Master Garmadon....
.......has another plan to destroy the ninja." Fangtom two heads said much to Skales confusion
"Master Garmadon? Ha! He's no master of mine since his so called Mega Weapon has failed every time. I don't see why we don't call our own shots." Skales asked
"Because this time I will not fail." Garmadon said scaring them, Skales drops the flashlight, the ninja gasp
"Yes, Lord Garmadon." Acidicus, Fangtom and Skalidor bow down, Skales reluctantly bows down
"Yes, Lord Garmadon." Skales said as they rise up and come closer
"Behold, Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalicus. Otherwise known as the Grundle. Although now extinct, in its time, it was the most feared and dangerous creature in all of Ninjago, with claws that could slice through steel, heightened senses that could detect its prey from miles away. It could track the stealthiest of ninja, and once it had picked up your scent, there was no hiding from it." Garmadon explained
"The Grundle? I heard about them." Jay said
"You too?." (Y/N) looked confused
"Yeah. Boy am I glad we live in an age where we don't have to deal with those things." Jay chuckles
"I agree." (Y/N) whispered
"Thanks for the history lesson, but what are we gonna do with a pile of bones?." Skales asked
"I am going to make it so the beast shall walk again." Garmadon said
"Yeah right. We'll show us then." Skales asked as Garmadon smiled as he turned to the fossils and raised the Mega Weapon
"Rise, Grundle, and feel the strength of the Mega Weapon! I wish to create the power to make you young. Turn back the clock so that you are no longer extinct....
Energy starts coming out of the weapon, the Grundles fossils starts to rattle and jerk in place
"But hungry! Hungry for the ninja!." Garmadon yelled
"Oh, no! He's bringing it back?." Jay looked confused
"Not if we have any say in the matter." Zane said as Garmadon was still giving the Grundle skeleton his strength, the ninja rise up from their hiding spot, weapons raised
"The ninja! Stop them!." Garmadon yelled as the serpentine throws their weapons at the ninja and miss
"Rise Grundle. Rise!." Garmadon yelled as the ninja come up from behind the Grundal skeleton
"We can't let him finish. Go!." Cole yelled as they jump into the skeleton, followed by Zane and Jay
"Stop them!." Garmadon yelled
"This is not a solid plan, Cole." Zane said as they tried to avoid the serpentine weapons, but soon fall off as Kai and (Y/N) come on and looks on
"I feel pretty alone up here." Kai said before seeing (Y/N) who waved
"Never mind then." Kai said
The others look on as Garmadon keeps up with the process before Kai and (Y/N) throws their weapons, they fall off the skeleton, the sword and sai hits the Mega Weapon, interrupting the process as Kai lands on Zane and Jay while Cole catches (Y/N)
"Thanks Cole." (Y/N) said jumping off
"Not again. Not again!." Garmadon yelled
"And you said it wouldn't fail." Skales said
"Retreat!." Garmadon yelled as he runs over and grabs the Mega Weapon before running off with the serpentine
"We stopped them." Jay laughed
"It didn't work." Kai said
"Curse you ninjas!." Garmadon yelled as he angrily runs away
"That was the most cartoony thing I've seen." (Y/N) chuckled
"Well, I thought we handled that well." Jay chuckled as he noticed the serpentine generals grabbing a golden sarcophagus
"Hey, they're trying to steal the golden sarcophagus." Jay pointed out, the generals immediately take off through the back door with the sarcophagus
"After them!." Kai yelled as they chased after the generals
"Huh, I feel weird." (Y/N) said as they ran after the slithering generals, they suddenly get slow as they reach the manhole
"That's our way out of here." Skales said as Skalidor opened the manhole, they tried to fit the sarcophagus inside but it didn't fit
"It won't fit." Skalidor said
"Forget it. Let's get out of here." Skales said as the ninja kept running, Skales closes the manhole after getting in, the ninja finally make it around the corner
"I can't believe we couldn't catch up to them. I'm usually faster than that. It's as if my legs were half the size." Jay said high pitched
"I don't remember that thing being so big. Did it grow?." Kai asked looking at the sarcophagus
"Or did we shrink?." Zane asked
"And what's with our voices? Why do they sound so high pitched?." (Y/N) asked me
"Uh, guys." Kai pointed at the glass door showing them to be kids again
Jay is the first to remove his mask
"Ah! WE SHRUNK!." Jay yelled as the others removed their masks
"We're.... Were kids!." Kai yelled as they all screamed loudly their eyes bulging
"Oh, oh, oh, this is bad! This is so bad on so many levels!." Jay yelled
"Ahhh! How... what?! This shouldn't be possible!." (Y/N) screamed
"Oh, it's impossible! We must be dreaming, Zane! TELL ME WERE DREAMING!." Cole yelled
"Nindroids don't dream. Perhaps Garmadon succeeded in turning back the clock, but instead of reviving the Grundal, it only affected us." Zane said
"Yeah, but Nindroids don't turn into kids. Explain that genius." Jay said
"I've extended my logic parameters, but nothing is coming up. This does not compute!." Zane yelled confused as his right eye twitched sparking electricity
"Okay, Zane's broken." (Y/N) said
"Okay fine, I get it. We're all in this together." Cole said as he walked up to the sarcophagus
"Oh, but I can't be a kid again! I hated being a kid! You can't drive, nobody listens to you!... oh no.... BEDTIMES!." Cole yelled as the others walked up to Cole
"I told Nya we'd meet back at the bounty. I'm sure Sensei will know what to do." Jay said as they heard sirens
"Oh no, this isn't going to go well."(Y/N) said as a police car soon appears and stops in front of the ninja, the officers exit their car and laugh
"Well, well, what do we got here? Looks like we've caught our culprits to the museum heist. Who would have thought it was just a bunch of brats? What have you got on, Apple Dumpling Gang? Pajamas?." They laugh at them
"These aren't pajamas! We're ninja!." Jay yelled
"Yeah, yeah, and I'm Santa Claus." The brown haired officer said
"Ninja! Go!." Kai yelled trying to do Spinjtizu but it doesn't work
"Woah!." Kai yelled as he knocks Cole, Jay, (Y/N) and Zane onto the hood of the police car
"Our Spinjtizu doesn't work! We're too small!." Kai yelled
"Easy kiddo. You're coming with us to the precinct." He said as he detains Cole and Kai
"Look, officers, this has been a grave misunderstanding. My friends here and I are simply trying to help out." Kai said chuckling
"Hey, you can tell all the stories you want when we return to the museum tomorrow to explain why you stole this." The brown haired officer said gesturing the sarcophagus
"But we didn't steal it." Kai said
"Zip it." The officer said as they get thrown into the back of the car
"Oh I hate this." (Y/N) crossed his arms
"You have the right to remain silent."
"Kids." The hat officer said laughing as he closed the door

The following morning, on the bounty, Lloyd reads his comic book while Nya and Wu looked worried
"Oh, they should be back by now." Nya said worried
"Oh, I fear something horrible has happened to them." Wu said looking at Lloyd who was eavesdropping
"Lloyd." Wu said as he gasped quickly switching the comic book for a study book
"You'rere in charge of the bounty while Nya and I have a look around town." Wu said
"Uh, yeah. Sure thing." Lloyd said as he walks away, Lloyd then grabs his comic book again
"Okay, Fritz Donnegan, looks like it's just gonna be you, me and the imperial sludge." Lloyd said as he read the book

At the museum, Kai, Jay, Cole, and (Y/N) kneel insolent of the curator while Zane stands
"We're sorry for stealing." Kai, Cole, Jay and (Y/N) said
"But we didn't. I don't understand." Zane spoke in confusion
"Oh jeez, come on Zane." (Y/N) groaned as Kai shushes them
"The quicker we get out of here, the faster we can figure out how to return our bodies back to normal." Kai explained as Zane quickly kneels
"I'm sorry for stealing too." Zane said as the curator smiled
"Thank you little boys, for returning the sarcophagus. You did the right thing. But, what about the bones?." The curator asked as the ninja looked confused
"What bones? We didn't steal any bones." Jay spoke confused
"The Gunrdal bones." The curator said pointing at the empty exhibit
"Oh no." (Y/N) said looking scared
"The Grundle bones? They're gone! You don't think.....?." Jay asked worriedly
"It just walked out of here?." Kai asked finishing jays sentence
"Theoretically, it is possible that if Garmadon successfully reversed the years in us, he reversed the years on the Grundel and brought it back to life." Zane explained as they gasped
"This is seriously not good!." (Y/N) looked scared as Jay turns to the three adults
"You guys have to believe us! The Grundel has been brought back to life and it's on the loose! Its sole existence is to hunt ninja, and as long as we're here everyone's at risk!." Jay explained worriedly as the three adults laugh before the officers throw them onto a nearby seat
"Well, we'll keep a good look out for anything that goes bump in the night, okay? Now you five sit until we call your parents to pick you up." The officers laugh before walking away leaving them
"We've gotta get out of here, right now." Cole said
"Oh man! I wish I wasn't a kid, I would be able to use my powers, but if I have learnt anything from Lloyd, it will do more harm then good." (Y/N) crossed his arms, Jay then notices Noble walking a few kids as they pass by, Jay smiles getting an idea, Kai also smiles as he has the same idea, they look at the others
"Follow my lead boys."" Kai said as they get up and head their way to the kids, they steal the kids clothing without them noticing, Kai gets a red sweatshirt as Jay swipes a hat, meanwhile the officers come back and see them gone
"Huh?."
"Where are they?."
In the hallway, the ninja are now disguised, they move along with the kids, Kai wears a red sweatshirt, Cole wears a girls purple shirt with stars on it, Jay looks embarrassed as he wears a blue shirt with a butterfly on it
"Oh, this is so humiliating." Jay said embarrassed
Zane wears a white and blue t-shirt with the number 13 while (Y/N) wears green hoodie
"Ugh, I can't see through this." (Y/N) groaned as he flipped the hood off his head
"I'm afraid if we can't use our Spinjtizu. We'll be no match for the Grundle." Zane said
"And the same could be said about my powers." (Y/N) said
"Then we have to get back to the Bounty." Kai said
"Easier said than done, we need a way to get back up there." (Y/N) said as they get outside, once they do they run past Noble who looks at them
"Huh? Where are you going? Come back." Noble called out to the ninja only to hear a giant footstep
"What was that?." Noble asked as they all looked up at the roof
"Hello? Is anyone there?." Noble asked as they looked curiously only for the Grundle to show itself
"A monster!." Noble yelled as he and the kids scream before running off, Noble drops his book and the Grundle's saliva splatters in the book, the Grundle gets off the roof and runs off, scaring everyone

At a pay phone, Jay grabs the phone before dialing a number and puts it to he's ear
"Collect call, please." Jay said to Cole, Kai who hold him higher to the pay phone, Zane and (Y/N) keep a look out
"Hold me steady." Jay said
On the bounty, Lloyd plays a video game on a console nearby as a phone rings, Lloyd tries to grab the phone while playing, he manages to grab the phone but drops it
"Woah!." Lloyd yelled as he puts the phone on speaker, while playing his game again
"Destiny's Bounty." Lloyd said
"Lloyd, it's Jay! Let me talk to Sensei!." Jay yelled through the phone much to Lloyd's surprise
"Jay? Where are you? Why haven't you returned? Sensei's out looking for you." Lloyd said as Jay groans
"Apparently you need parental permission to take the bus and we can't seem to get out of the city!." Jay yelled as Lloyd looked confused
"Uh, what?." Lloyd asked
"Oh, never mind, it's a bit complicated. Just meet us at Buddys Pizza in ten minutes. And bring our weapons." Jay said
"Weapons?." Lloyd asked confused as he falls off the seat

At Buddy's Pizza, Lloyd enters and looks around for the ninja, he notices a boy in a gopher mask coming up to the counter
"Really? Of all places we could meet, you pick this place?." Cole asked
"Seriously, this place honestly screams kiddish." (Y/N) said
"What? I like their pizza." Jay shrugged
"Psst, Lloyd." Kai whispered as Lloyd turns to him, but he doesn't recognise them
"Best it brat! I'm on a mission." Lloyd said as he goes to move off, only for (Y/N) to jump over to Lloyd, surprising Lloyd
"How did you-
"Lloyd, take a hard long look." (Y/N) said as Lloyd looks at him before looking at the others and gasps, dropping the weapons
"Woah. What happened? You're, uh, uh, small!." Lloyd yelled as everyone looks at them
"Keep it down. We're trying to lay low. Your father's Mega Weapon not only to turn us into kids, but unleashed a creature whose sole purpose is to hunt down ninja." Kai said
"Typical Garmadon." Cole crossed his arms
"And now, every time we try to tell someone. They won't believe us, cause we're kids." Jay said as Lloyd picked up the weapon, he then laughs
"What's so funny?." Kai asked
"Well, I guess you now know what it feels like to be treated differently." Lloyd said as he throws their weapons onto the table
"Since when have I treated you differently? I just make sure you don't get hurt." (Y/N) said as Lloyd nods
"Yeah, I accidentally forgot about that, sorry." Lloyd chuckled as (Y/N) sighed
"Look, this is serious. If we don't turn big so that we can use our Spinjtizu, and (Y/N) to use his elemental powers, we don't stand a chance against the Grundle." Zane said
"Well, what about me? I know Spinjtizu." Lloyd said
"Yeah, but you don't know the Grundle. We all need to be at full strength. What we need to do first to find someone who might know more about how to defeat one of those things." Kai said as Lloyd notices a kid reading a StarFarer comic
"Lloyd, focus." Cole said
"Wait, he might have an idea." (Y/N) said as Lloyd smiled
"(Y/N) would be right, cause I think I know just the guy." Lloyd smiled

Later the Ninja walked up to Doomsday Comix and entered it
"You brought us to a comic book store?." Cole asked
"Dude, I told you I would buy the comic, but Joe's not the time." (Y/N) said as Lloyd walked around
"Trust me. If there's anyone who know how to defeat a monster that doesn't exist, I know just the person to talk to." Lloyd said as they walked around
"We're not coming to pick out your stupid comic Lloyd! This is serious business." Kai said as (Y/N) sighed
"Dude, I told you I would buy the comic, but now's not the time." (Y/N) said as Lloyd walked around, Jay grabs a comic book and gasps
"Oh, look. A first edition "Daffy Dale" I used to love that but growing up." Jay laughed before clearing his throat
"So juvenile." Jay said as Lloyd guides his embarrassed friends to the register, where a man with a ponytail and beard sits
"Fellas, meet Rufus McCallister, AKA Mother Doomsday." Lloyd introduced
"Well, if it isn't Lloyd "Hemorrhoid" Garmadon. Sorry if you came looking for the latest "Starfarer" I'm all sold out." Rufus said much to Lloyd's dismay
"Wh- sold out?." Lloyd screamed causing everyone to look at him
"Oh actually, Mother Doomsday, we need help." Lloyd said remembering why they were there
"Well, colour me intrigued." Rufus said intrigued
"We have a problem. There's a Grundle on the loose and we need to know how to deal with it." Lloyd said as Rufus misunderstood
"Oh, a theoretical question." Rufus said as Lloyd played along
"Yeah, theoretical. Can you help?." Lloyd asked as Rufus lowers his seat and comes out from behind the register
"Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalicus. Phew! Although extinct, there has been a plethora of film, television and comics exploring the mythology around the primordial predator." Rufus said grabbing a nearby coming to show them the Grundle
"Supposedly, they always get their prey." Rufus explained
"Sounds like he knows his stuff." Kai said as Lloyd pushes through Kai and Zane
"Can it be stopped?." Lloyd asked
"First thing you need to is it's thick shell-like hide is invincible to swords, scythes, Sais, nunchucks and throwing stars. So your cheap imitations will do nothing to slow him down." Rufus explained
"Swell." Cole sighed
"Oh joy." (Y/N) remarked sarcastically
"Second of all, it's nocturnal and will only hunt at night." Rufus explained much to their relief
"Oh, good. It's still daylight, so we can relax for a bit." Jay said as they look at a window, Rufus looks at them suspiciously before Kai clears his throat
"Uh, I mean theoretically." Jay covered up
"And the only way to defeat it is with light." Rufus said as he puts the comic back
"Like a vampire, with enough of it, it could potentially destroy him." Rufus said as he walked over to a display
"If I had my weapons of choice, may I recommend the Illuma-swords?." Rufus said as he opens the display case revealing the swords
"These are authentic replicas that would come in handy were you to live long enough to actually face a Grundal. And if the swords are your thing." Rufus points at another case
"Maybe I can interest you in an authentic ninja GI?." Rufus asked as they looked and saw the display has Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole and (Y/N)'s ZX GI inside
"Signed by the very ninja that saved the city." Rufus smiled
"Uh, we'll just take the light swords." Kai said as he goes up to grab the swords, but Rufus stops him
"Not so fast. This "Starfarer" combo pack can only be won in the Fritz Donnegan Trivia Battle Royale." Rufus said as he points to a fan dressed like Fritz Donnegan talking to some cosplayers
"You have what it takes to be the best?." Rufus asked
"You can do this Lloyd." Jay said
"Sign me up." Lloyd smiled as (Y/N) pats his back
"This little guy is gonna save us." (Y/N) said smiling at Lloyd

Back on the Bounty, Nya is in the phone
"Great. Now Lloyd's missing, what's next?." Nya asked hanging up the phone only for the phone rang, Nya plays the voicemail
"Sensei, we're at Doomsday Comix, Garmadons turned the others into kids and we're about to face a real life Grundel. If you get this message, this isn't a prank. Come quick!." Lloyd said over the voice mail
"Oh, dear. Well, there's only one person who could help return the ninja back to normal." Wu said as they later showed up to Jamanakai village, Nya drives their bike and Wu sits in the seat next to her as they come up to Mystake Tea Shop, they go inside
"Hello Mystake. We need a special tea." Wu said
"They're all special, you old fool!." Mystake said to Wu
"But this one can turn someone.... Older." Nya said as Mystake understood
"Ah, you seek. Tomorrows Tea. I only have one in stock in the back. Follow me." Mystake said as they go into the back room, Mystake turns on the light and climbs up a ladder
"It should be here." Mystake said looking for it
"It's gone?." Nya asked worriedly
"Just misplaced. I know it's here somewhere." Mystake said still looking
"We need to find that tea before it's too late." Wu said worriedly

Later that night at Doomsday Comix, Lloyd and the fan from earlier are on a stand, the ninja watch as Jay eats cotton candy
"It's down to the final two. This question is for Lloyd." Rufus said as the crowd chants for Lloyd
"What is Fritz Donnegans famous catchphrase?." Rufus asked
"Fear? Fear is not a word from where I come from." Lloyd answered
"Correct! We're all tied up." Rufus said as the crowd cheers, the fan looks annoyed at Lloyd who only smirks back, as they cheer Zane looks out the window
"It's getting dark. The Grundal will be on the prowl soon." Zane said to Cole
"Don't worry. I got faith Lloyd can win those illuma-swords." Kai said as they hear slurping, they look at Jay who continues to eat the cotton candy
"Is this really the best time to be eating cotton candy?." Kai asked annoyed
"It makes me feel young. Deal with it." Jay said as (Y/N) slapped it out of his hands
"Dude, we're already kids again from magic, how much younger do you wanna feel?." (Y/N) asked annoyed as Jay looked down at the cotton candy
"Aw." Jay sighed
"Final question. The first person to answer this will win." Rufus said as he turns to the competitors
"In the latest issue of "Starfarer" how did Fritz Donnegan escape the imperial Sludge?." Rufus asked as Lloyd struggles to answer
"But I haven't read the latest issues!." Lloyd panicked
"By reversing the polarity of the ships gravity transducer." The fan answered much to the ninja and Lloyd's dismay
"We have a winner!." Rufus yelled as the fan smiles proudly, Lloyd looks at the ninja who look disappointed while the crowd cheers for the fan, just as the lights shake and the power goes out
"Who shut off the power?." Rufus asked as everyone looks up at the sounds of the disturbance as the sign falls off

"Not the....Grundle!." Rufus yelled as the Grundal steps on the glass cracking it before looking by down, the kids scream
"We've got to get out of here." Zane said as they run to the door only to find out it's been blocked by the sign
"Why does luck hate us?!." (Y/N) yelled as the Grundle moves along the roof
"Look! It's coming!." Jay yelled as the Grundle breaks through the glass roof and lands in the store
"Argh! We're doomed!." Jay screamed
"Doomed as Britt's Subskian in Phoenix War page 15." Rufus said as the Grundle swings its tail at him and the kids, they dodged and screamed as the tail breaks the display case with the Ninjas ZX GI
"Quick! This way!." Jay yelled as they run down a nearby section, the Grundle turns to where the ninja were just at, Jay grabs Kai's Gi and Zane and Kai grab the Illuma-swords
"Hey, McNasty! I thought ninja were on your menu!." Cole yelled as the Grundle looks at the ninja who wore the GI and held the swords, they waved the swords informs of the Grundle which moves back
"It's working!." Jay yelled
"Lucky is really on our side!." (Y/N) yelled as the approached it, Jay attempts to strike it, but the Illuma-swords breaks, Kai does the same but it also breaks
"Stupid toy." Kai said annoyed as he strikes the Grundles leg
Zane jumps onto the Grundle and hits it with the sword which also breaks, he lands near the others
"Oh sure, keep hitting it with the swords, it worked the first time, why not do it two more?." (Y/N) asked sarcastically
"Not the time (Y/N)!." Kai yelled as the Grundle knocks to them into the cash register, the Grundal walks up to them as it growls and opens its mouth causing them to scream, Lloyd comes up from behind them easing the seat of the register
"Not to worry, I'll take care of this." Lloyd said
"Lloyd!." They all yelled as Lloyd summoned his energy powers, the light affects the Grundle as it backs away, they cheer, only for the Grundle to knock Lloyd down with its tail
"Oh, gross!." Kai yelled
"This is the end, isn't it?." Cole asked
The front door is kicked open revealing Nya and Wu
"Everyone out!." Nya yelled as the crowd and Rufus runs out, Wu holds up a jar of tea
"Use this!." Wu yelled as he throws it to them, Jay catches it
"What is it?." Jay asked
"It'll turn forward the hands of time, turning you old and reducing the Grundle back to dust and bones." Wu explained as the ninja jumped onto fallen register
"But be careful, there's no turning back!." Wu yelled as Jay holds up the tea
"Grundal! Prepare to be extinct!." Jay yelled as Cole stops him
"No, wait. What will happen to Lloyd? He'll grow old too." Cole said as they looked at him
"Just do it." Jay said
"You'll miss out on the rest of your childhood dude." Jay said
"Dude, I'm not ready to see you grow up, not yet." (Y/N) said
"We cant do that to you. It's not fair! Kai yelled as the Grundal destroys the last two swords
"Oh no!." Cole yelled as the Grundal comps at them, they fall as the tomorrows tea lands on Lloyd
"Fair? Fair isn't a word from where I come from." Lloyd said as he gets up and throws the tea at the Grundal, it growls and Nya and Wu looked shocked
"He used it!." Wu yelled as the Grundel skin starts to dissolve and becomes bones once more
"And it's working!." Nya yelled as the Grundel finally became bones again, Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane and (Y/N) get up back to their original age
"What happened? We're not kids anymore." Cole asked confused
"It worked!." Nya smiled as Rufus gasped
"They are the real ninja." Rufus said surprised
"Haha! Way to go Lloyd!." (Y/N) cheered as they look for him
"Lloyd? Where are you?." (Y/N) asked as everyone looks concerned, Lloyd then stands up looking older, the others looked shocked
"I'm...older." Lloyd said as he looks at him self
"The time for the Green and Purple Ninja to face their destiny has grown nearer." Wu said as the others walk to Lloyd
"Dude..." (Y/N) said looking shocked as Lloyd looks concerned, (Y/N) smiled
"You're ready." (Y/N) said smiling as he and Lloyd hugged
They go to leave the shop only for Rufus to stop them
"Here you go Lloyd, you can have my copy of Starfarer, you earned it." Rufus smiled sniffling
"That's okay. I already know how it ends." Lloyd smiled as he leaves to catch up with the others

When that time comes, it's important not to forget the lessons of our childhood because our childhood is the greatest training one can ever have, I made that mistake once, but I will never again, the time until the final battle has grown shorter, but the Green and Purple Ninja have grown stronger." Wu said as on the destiny's bounty Lloyd and (Y/N) smiled as they took a photo, side hugging each other (Y/N) smiled as he placed the photo of the older Lloyd next to the one with the younger Lloyd in his Green Gi on his shelf next to his bed, he smiles before going to sleep
