Season 4 Episode 43: The Greatest Fear of All

The Elemental Dragons fly to Ninjago, the Elemental Masters preparing for the battle ahead
"Chen and his Anacondrai army have a days start in us. Be prepared for anything and everything." Lloyd told them
"How did we lose much time?." Kai asked
"You know, you took an oath never to leave a man behind." Dearth said on Jays Elemental Dragon
"And we're not all that quick learners. Mastering your fear to create Power Dragons takes time." Jay explained
"Well, we're running out of that. There's Ninjago City. Hurry." Nya said on (Y/N)'s Elemental Dragon
"Hurry's my middle name, Hyah!." Griffin yelled as he sped off
"Remember, whatever happens down there, we're stronger untied. We fight as one." Lloyd told them
"Let's do this!." Jay yelled as they flew to Ninjago, people looking up and seeing the different Dragons flying, Kai lands his Dragon and a woman sees skylor
"Serpentine!." The woman yelled as everyone screams and panics
"I wish I still had the power to change." Skylor said sadly, covering her face in shame
"You have changed. You're with us now." Kai smiled as a old woman honks her car horn
"Could you be a dear and move your Dragon?." She asked as the Dragon moved its leg up
"Thank you, young man." The old woman smiled as she drives off
"If we're the first ones they've seen, where's Chen and why hasn't he attacked?." Garmadon asked
"Well, this gives us a short time to prepare, we should head back to the Samurai X cave." (Y/N) said
"We'll get my father and Skylor off the streets before we alarm everyone. Everyone else, stick together and watch over the people." Lloyd ordered
"First sighting of Chen and his Army, report to us instantly, we have yet to know what they're capable of." (Y/N) ordered
"You got it, Purple friend." Karlof smiled as they took off, Skylor then noticed her hand turning back to normal

Chen meanwhile notices his skin back to normal
"Why is the spell wearing off? If we attack now and turn back to normal, everything will be for nothing!." Yelled angrily
"Eh, about that... uh, we read everything on page 149, but lo and behold, the spell continues into the next page." Chope said showing Chen
"You slithering klutzes! What have I told you about attention to details? I know I should've had Clouse read the spell." Chen said as he read it
"In order for the transformation to become permanent, one must obtain the essence of a true Anacondrai." Chen read
"Where are we supposed to get that? There aren't any real Anacondrai left!." Chen yelled
"Eh, but if there's any out there, we'll find it." Kapau said as Zugu approached
"There's Another problem, Master. The ninja and their friends have arrived." Zugu said
"Oh, why must conquering Ninjago be so difficult? Fine. We change plans. It's not like I don't have something else up my sleeve." Chen said
"And what's that, Master?." Zugu asked
"This!." Chen yelled throwing the Book of Spells at Zugu
"Now come on. We have some scheming to do." Chen said

Meanwhile the ninja, Garmadon and Skylor enter the Samurai X cave. The Falcon screeches and lands on Zane's arm
"And hello to you, my old friend." Zane smiled as the Falcon who flew to (Y/N)'s arm
"Hey there buddy." (Y/N) smiled petting the Falcon before it flew back onto Zane
"Ah. You're all back." Wu smiled as he saw Zane
"Zane, look at you. You're all... shiny." Wu laughs as he sees (Y/N)
"Son?..." Wu asked looking at his son
"Hey dad, it's been... awhile." (Y/N) smiled as Wu hugs him
"You've changed... and your hair... is it longer?." Wu asked
"Yeah, I've been told that a lot." (Y/N) chuckled
Miskao walks up to Lloyd
"But where's your father?." Miskao asked as Garmadon approached as a snake
"It's me, Misako." Garmadon said as she gasps
"Don't worry. We have a reason to believe the spell may be wearing off." Skylor told them
"But if that's true, it only makes Chen more desperate to act now. Everyone, this is Skylor, Chens daughter." Kai introduced
"You're amongst friends, Skylor." Misako told her
"Thank you for looking after my Misako." Garmadon thanked Wu
"As any good brother should." Wu said as Garmadon looked guilty
"Yes. A good brother." Garmadon said
"There isn't much time. Our friends are on standby but we don't know where Chen will strike first." Lloyd told them
"And if we're not all there to stop him when he first attacks...
"Ninjago will succumb to war. Our greatest fear will come true." Garmadon told them
"And no one will be able to stop them." (Y/N) said
"Then the greatest victory will be that which has no battle." Wu said
"But how do we prevent a war? How do we stop an enemy we know so little about?." Jay asked as the Falcon flies over to a screen and opening an image of Kryptaruim Prison
"We find someone who does." Wu said

The ninja use their Dragons to travel
"Kryptarium Prison. Hime of Ninjago's worst of the worst." Garmadon said
"I don't get it. Who's gonna help us here?." Cole asked
"If one must learn how to fight a snake, one must talk to one first." Wu said as they walked inside the prison
"Sorry I had to confiscate your weapons. Here we try to foster what I call, an environment of encouragement." Noble said as they walked through the prison
"I'll rattle your bones, Warden." Frakjaw said
"Very creative, Frakjaw. Love the puns." Noble said as they kept walking
"Pajama Men!." Soto yelled
"Easy, Soto. I'm the captain of this ship. Haha. Ninja ain't popular around these parts, considering you put most of them behind bars, hmm. But who you're looking for, he hates ninja the most. Last cell on the left." Noble told them as they walked to Pythors cell
"Hmm, why yes, Pythor, this may very well be the greatest cup of tea you've steeped." Pythor said as Rodrigo
"Oh, you flatter me, Rodrigo, but do go on." Pythor said as the ninja appeared
"We need your help." Lloyd said as Pythor gasps
"Help you? The ninja? You fed me to the Devourer, defeated every army I've aligned with, even forced me to swallow your shrinking pill! Haven't you done enough to damage to my diminishing ego?." Pythor asked as Cole turns over his cell which reveals him locked in a doll house, Pythor screams
"Well played. I suppose this is about that culturally insensitive noodle baron and his ilk that are now Anacondrai, imposters, if you ask me." Pythor said slightly annoyed
"You are the last remaining Anacondrai. You must know how to stop them." Jay asked
"I'm not going to say another word until you can figure out how to make me big. And don't ask me to trust a ninja." Pythor crossed his arms
"Would you trust a snake?." Garmadon asked approaching
"Garma-Condrai? Oh, now my interest is piqued. Let's make a deal, shall we?." Pythor asked
"Takes a snake to trust a snake I guess." (Y/N) shrugged
"I thought you should be aware that someone has been poking around at the Kryptarium database with an interest in your, shall I say, little friend." PIXAL warned Zane
"Chen?." Zane asked
"I don't know, but be on your guard. You may be expecting unannounced visitors." PIXAL said

Outside, an invisible Anacondrai Cultist hands a guard a pair of binoculars
"Thanks." The guard said as he looks through them and see Kapau waving to him
"Huh?." The guard looked confused as he gets knocked out

Inside, Noble looks up and sees floating prisoners outfits
"Ooh, that's strange." Noble said turning to turn on the alarm, only for him to be stopped by Kapau
"Hehe, so gullible. Everyone knows there's no such things as ghosts." Chope said as he takes the keys from Noble

Meanwhile Pythor tells everyone how to stop them
"Then you get the spell book and I'll tell you their weakness and then-
Noble comes on the intercom
"There's been a breach in Sector 2! They appear to be Anacondrai and- uh oh, they're coming my way. They see me talking on the intercom. Oh, boy, here they come. Why am I still talking on this thing?." Noble asked as every prisoner cheers except for Pythor
"Oh great." (Y/N) groaned
"You led them to me? What have you done? There's no escaping an Anacondrai!." Pythor yelled as he tries to open a wardrobe
"Curse this fraudulent furniture!." Pythor yelled as he hides under a lampshade
"Tell me! How do we stop them? What is their weakness?." Garmadon asked
"Don't you get it? There is no weakness! They're Anacondrai!." Pythor yelled as they appeared
"Guys, we've got company." Kai said
"I'll handle this. Earth!." Cole yelled as he tosses some bricks at them, only to dent some cell bars
"We're trying to keep the inmates in, not let them out!." Jay yelled
"And here you use to blame me when something got destroyed." (Y/N) said rolling his eyes
Garmadon grabs Pythor and some of his venom lands on his hands, turning back into an Anacondrai
"Your hand. That may be why they've come for Pythor. What if he holds the key to making their transformation permanent?." Zane questioned
"That's why Chen hasn't attacked." Wu realised
"Then we have to get him out of here. If he's the key to preventing a war, we can't let him fall into the wrong hands. Literally." Lloyd said
"Oh, I get it. It's literal because of my size." Pythor remarked
"Haha, very funny. But I'm a little sensitive to all the size references." Pythor said sarcastically
"A little sensitive?." Garmadon smirked
"Okay, I stepped right into that one." Pythor admitted
"Zane, keep them busy." Wu instructed
"Ah. What do you think we've been do-" Kai grunts as he is attacked
"Get out of here already. It's not like we can hold them off all day." Jay groaned as they held them back as Noble finally pressed the button for the alarms
"Kryptariums on lockdown. If we don't find a way out, we may never escape." Garmadon said as (Y/N), Wu, Lloyd and Garmadon escape under a door
"It ain't fair. Why is it they've got weapons but we don't?." Cole asked as they fought
"Everything's a weapon in the big house." Jay said grabbing a toothbrush and fights Chope with it

"Oh some heroes you are. And to think there's only two of them." Pythor remarked before screaming when he gets throw to Lloyd
"Quit complaining, or we could just stomp on you and save us all the trouble." (Y/N) glared
"Uh, I sincerely apologise." Pythor apologised
"Sensei Wu said the greatest victories-
"Has no battle, blah, blah, blah. Well, if they're imposters, you're cowards." Pythor said
"Would you want to fight a Anacondrai?." (Y/N) asked
"No, you can't stop an Anacondrai, it'd be better to escape with your lives then fight them- I see what you've done there." Pythor groaned
"Now you see what there's a reason never trust a snake. First the Anacondrai betray the truce in the Serpentine War, then you tricked Lloyd-
"Are we still talking about the Serpentine War? The Anacondrai had every intention of honouring the truce. It was Chen who told us your kind was going to betray us. We had no other choice but to attack." Pythor defended
"Chen said you were going to betray us!." Garmadon yelled
"Ugh, sounds like Chen was playing both sides." Lloyd groaned as they see warriors in front of them
"Again I say... cowards." Pythor said
"Protect Pythor." Wu instructed
"Ninja! Go!." Lloyd yelled using Spinjtizu to attack the Cultists
"Uh, I lost him!." Lloyd yelled as Pythor dodges the attacks
"What do you mean you lost him? Find him!." Garmadon yelled, (Y/N) quickly snatched him
"Oh, thank you (Y/N)." Pythor thanked
"Thank me later when we get you out of here." (Y/N) said dodging more attacks

Inside the prison, the ninja fight back against the Anacondrai
"Fire!." Kai yelled
"Lightning!." Jay yelled as Kapaus spear lands near No-Eyed Pete who grabs it
"Awk, left!." The parrot yelled
"Hurry, grab his spear!." Jay yelled
"No, the other left! Awk!." The Parrot yelled as No-Eyed Pete hits a switch freeing the prisoners
"Oh, no." Kai said as they looked around as a Giant Stone Warrior walked up to them
"Uh, guys, I think we're about to serve some hard time." Cole said as the Warrior speaks in an ancient language before punching Cole
"Aah!." Cole yelled, Zane meanwhile fights a Nindroid
"I'm not an outdated relic anymore." Zane said glaring at the Nindroid
"Woah!." Jay yelled as he grabs Kruncha as a shield
"Okay, since we've already fought most of these guys before, let's say we keep this short?." Jay asked
"I'm with you. The door, hurry!." Kai yelled as they ran to the door
"All right, who's busting out here with me?." Cole asked
"There's no way you're breaking through this door. It's solid metal." Kai said looking at the door
"I didn't say anything about a door." Cole said as he punches the walls, they run through
"When people try to bust out of jail, they do so quietly. Not literally!." Jay yelled as they ran
"Ah, digging our way out takes forever." Dan said as Kevin pulls him back as Cole punches their wall
"Thank you!." Dan yelled

Meanwhile, (Y/N) fights off against the Anacondrai that tried to grab Pythor
"Hang on!." (Y/N) yelled as he flips over the Anacondrai
"I really hate being small!." Pythor yelled as (Y/N) gets choke-held by an Anacondrai, dropping Pythor
"Hey! Leave my cousin alone!." Lloyd yelled kicking the Anacondrai in the head freeing (Y/N)
"Thanks, I owe you one." (Y/N) said as Wu grabs Pythor
"Wu, my saviour." Pythor thanked as the ninja run out
"Do you have him?." Kai asked as Wu noticed Pythor was stolen
"We can't let them escape." Cole said as Wu sees the prisoners going to escape
"No, we can't let them escape! No more smashing walls." Wu ordered
"Sorry Wu, gonna have to ignore you this one time." (Y/N) said as he destroyed the roof of the prison blocking the prisoners, Zane then makes an ice bridge and they escape out, Kai then destroyed the bridge
"Sorry Noble!." (Y/N) apologised as they left
"It's quite alright! We got it from here." Noble smiled as he walked inside

Inside Chens camp. Pythor is trapped in a jar
"Ah! Charlatans! Frauds! Two-bit phonies!." Pythor yelled at them
"I don't get it, how are we gonna get enough sweat out of that little guy to fix all of us?." Kapau asked Chen
"The simplest plan is often the best." Chen said as he puts Pythor in an exercise wheel
"The more complicated ones are so much fun to watch!." Chen yelled smiling as he puts a helmet on Pythor
"Now run!." Chen ordered
"A true Anacondrai would never demean himself. I have my honour, you know." Pythor crossed his arms
"And we have a swamp rat!." Zugu yelled as he puts the rat on the wheel, it then chased Pythor
"Aah!." Pythor screamed as he hopped
"As you can see, fear has a powerful thing." Chen said as Pythor sweats, Chen then touches the sweat and his hand turns back to an Anacondrai
"Oh, the essence is working!." Zugu yelled impressed
"Soon, I'll have enough to make my entire army permanently Anacondrai. And now that one problem is dealt with, it's time we give the ninja one of their own. It's time to spread some fear." Chen said as he sends noodle tricks to Ninjago

Meanwhile the ninja get back to the Samurai X cave
"We got here as fast as we could." Kai said as they ran
"What's the problem?." (Y/N) asked
"Twenty noodle trucks have been spotted heading towards Ninjago city just fifty clicks away." Nya told them
"Let me guess, they ain't hauling noodles?." Cole asked sarcastically
"Twenty trucks could hold two hundred Anacondrai. If they get to the city before we do, the city will be theirs." Zane said
"And they'll have achieved the pivotal first foothold in the war." Garmadon said
"We have to stop them." Lloyd said
"But by the time we get there it would be too late." (Y/N) said
"That's why I've already warned the others to head them off at the pass. They should be able to hold the line until you offer support. I had them equip themselves so we could communicate." Nya said as Shade comes onscreen
"We're in position. If they show up, we'll be sure to put up a fight." Shade said
"There's coming to your location soon." Nya said as they see the trucks
"I see them. Let's show them what we're made of." She'd smirked as they waited, only for the trucks to seperate and go their own ways
"The trucks. They're going every which way." Shade said looking confused
"What do you mean? Aren't they going to Ninjago City?." Jay asked confused
"I don't know where they're going, but they ain't going together." Shade told them
"There are over twelve densely populated villagers within a ten-click radius." Miskao told them
"They aren't planning to launch one attack, they're planning multiple." Kai realised
"Dividing and conquering, Chens an evil mastermind." (Y/N) crossed his arms
"What do we do? You told us to stay together." Shade said looking confused on their course of action
"Chen knows you can't take you all on at once. He's trying to split you up." Garmadon told them
"Bet even if just one of those trucks makes it to a village, the people won't be able to defend themselves." Misako said
"We have to protect the people. Tell the Elemental Fighter's we have to split up. We'll each intercept a truck and stop it from reaching those villagers." Lloyd instructed
"Whatever happened to, we fight as one?." Jay asked
"Sorry Jay, but we must protect the people." (Y/N) said
"This is stopping the end of our world as we know it." Garmadon told Jay as they run out of the cave to go help
"What's my father up to?." Skylor wondered
"Nya, ready the Bounty. We must prepare for the worst." Wu instructed
"You heard our orders. Split up and intercept those trucks." Shade told the others as they flew off on their dragons
"Nya, why aren't we in the air?." Wu asked
"We just gave the old gal a makeover. It's gonna take some time for her to warm up." Nya told him
"Misako, notify every ally we have. We're going to need all the help we can get. And brother, if for whatever reason this doesn't work out, I'm glad you're home." Wu said as Garmadon looks down sad
"There's something wrong. Why aren't you telling me?." Misako asked Garmadon
"We're on the threshold of war and I'm a man-snake. Take your pick." Garmadon said looking at her
"You're my husband. I know you better than that. There's something else." Misako said as Garmadon sighs
"Do you remember the letter I gave you long ago?." Garmadon asked
"Of course. Those words you wrote. It was the reason I fell in love with you." Misako smiled
"That letter was not-
The lights go out before he could finish
"Nya, what just happened?." Wu asked curious
"I'll have her back online in no time." Nya said as she continues working

Meanwhile, Zane stops a truck and chases another, Chen meanwhile collects Pythors sweat
"The tricks are in position. It's time." Zugu told Chen
"What about me? You can't just leave me here! Where's the honour in that?." Pythor asked still hopping
"Oh, right, honour. Like you said, we aren't really Anacondrai." Chen laughed
"No, we are not. No, no, no." Chen laughed as they left

Lloyd meanwhile stops a truck but accidentally deflates a kids ball
"Sorry kid. No time to explain." Lloyd said taking off again
"Wow. Hey! Let's play dragons!." The kid yelled

At Blackwood Forest, Cole chases another truck
"Not a chance pal. Can't let you finish this delivery route." Cole said as Sleven swerves the truck
"Oh, not give up, huh? Neither will I." Cole said as he continued to chase

In the Forest of Tranquility, (Y/N) chases a truck, he then jumps onto the truck as pops his head into the window of the truck
"Pull over!." (Y/N) yelled as he grabbed the Anacondrai and tosses him into a tree, he then jumps off the truck and rides his dragon again and follows another truck as the last one crashes

Kai meanwhile is in Ninjago City
"Out of the way!." Kai yelled as a drive splashes mud on Zane and (Y/N)'s statue
"Hey, not cool." Kai groaned as the same old woman drives by
"Oh! I thought I told you to move your dragon, young man!." The woman yelled
"Ugh, I gotta get him out of town." Kai said as he uses fire to change the drivers directions
"Now that's what I call getting back into the right track." Kai smiled as he followed

"Zane, have you diverted the truck away from the villages?." Wu asked
"Yes, and once it's at a safe distance, I plan to take care of the Anacondrai." Zane told him
"Good work, the people are safe." Wu smiled as Skylor realised something
"No they aren't. We aren't pulling them away from the people, they're pulling us!." Skylor yelled realising what her fathers plan was
"Stop the trucks!." Wu yelled

"All right, snakes, you're about to be charged." Jay said as he opens the truck and checks inside only to find it empty expect for the driver
"No, it can't be." Jay said fearful
"Everyone, come back now!." Wu yelled as Lloyd checks inside his and loses his dragon
"I'm not afraid. I can do this. I have to get back." Lloyd grunted as he tried to summon his dragon but he can't
"I can't. I'm too afraid." Lloyd said sadly
(Y/N) falls onto his knees
"Chen played us, he's won." (Y/N) said on his knees as the driver laughs

"It was all a trap." Garmadon said sadly
"Then that means...
"The greatest victories... have no battle. Our worst fears have come true." Wu said as Chen laughs as his army approaches and make their way into Jamanakai Village
"The new Serpentine War... has just begun." Garmadon said
