Season 1 Episode 6: The Snake King

In a desert area, Skales and Pythor dig
"We're wasting our time Pythor. There's nothing here but sand and dust." Skales said as he carried a bucket
"Keep digging. The Lost City of Ouroboros is under us. I know it." Pythor said as he kept digging
"Oh face it, your first attempt to untie the tribes failed, and now that you have lost your flock, you've become desperate." Skales said
"I am desperate, my disloyal number two, but only to bring out kind together so that we can unleash the Great Devourer." Pythor said as he kept digging
"You put too much faith in legends. Besides, all the serpentine know is to be at war with one another." Skales said as Pythor bangs his shovel on something, he dusts the sand away to find a dial, he begins to laugh
"Skales, I believe we've found it." Pythor said as he turned the dial which makes the city slowly rise above the sand
"I present to you the city formerly known as the Lost City of Ouroboros." Pythor said as he smiled evilly

Meanwhile in the destiny's bounty, they pass by a mountain as the postman follows behind with his bicycle with some improvised wings
"Wait! Slow down! I have a package for Sensei Wu!." The postman yelled waving a parcel around
Inside the bounty Lloyd talks with the other about what he'd do in a situation
"First, I'll stomp on his tail. Then when he turns, a thunder claps to his ears. Then when he's stunned, I'll disarm him." Lloyd said
"Too late. He's already hypnotised you and now you're under his control." Cole said
"Or he's already put you in a squeeze." Zane said
"Or spit on you with his hallucinatory venom. Trust me, bad stuff." Kai said remembering the effects of the venom as Lloyd groans
"Uncle, what's the best way to stub a serpentine if you don't know what kind they are?." Lloyd asked
"Sadly, it was the sacred flute you five carelessly lost." Wu said looking at the five ninja
"Hey, no no no, we didn't lose it, Pythor stole it." Jay said trying to clear it up
"Whatever the case, without it, I fear we have nothing to combat their powers. We may have prevented them from uniting in the past, but they will try again, and one day they will be stronger." Wu said
"Don't worry, I've almost reached my full potential, and when I become the Green Ninja, we're not gonna need any magic flute." Cole said as the three other ninja started to speak
"You're gonna be the Green Ninja? Hahaha, don't make me laugh." Kai spoke sarcastically
"I thought it was decided that I was destined to become the Green Ninja." Zane said
"Oh! The only thing decided about you Zane is that you're weird." Jay argued with Zane which lead to the four to argue with one another while Wu left outside leaving (Y/N) to groan
"Not again." (Y/N) groaned as Wu came back with a box
"Yeah yeah yeah. What's in the box?." Lloyd asked Wu who opened the box
"Your new uniforms." Wu said as the five gasped in awe
"Woah! They've got, like amour." Jay said as he looked at the box
"I love the gold highlights." Kai said admiring the suit from the box
"Battle claws!." Cole yelled excited
"The material is really light and breathable." Zane said
"Woah! Check out the gig! Purple suit and black amour?! Sick!." (Y/N) spoke as he looked at the suit in awe
"Oh, nothing for me?." Lloyd asked
"Uh, you get, uh. The box." Wu said much to Lloyd's disappointment
"It is a cool box though." (Y/N) tried to cheer Lloyd up which didn't work
They soon heard the alarm go off
"Sorry to break up the moment boys, but a small fraction of our slithering friends are stirring up trouble at Mega Monster Amusement Park." Cole explained as Lloyd looked amazed
"Amusement park? Can I go? Can I go with you please? Let me make things up. I can help." Lloyd begged
"I'm sorry nephew. You will stay here, where it is safe." Wu apologised as Lloyd groaned
"Oh, ninja get all the fun." Lloyd pouted as (Y/N) patted his shoulder
"Once the chaos is cleared up, I'll be happy to take you." (Y/N) smiled as Lloyd grew a wide smile and hugged him
"You're the best not related cousin ever!." Lloyd hugged as (Y/N) chuckled as everyone awed
"Okay, now that the moment is done, what do you say, guys? Time to try out the new merchandise?." Jay asked as the quickly got changed into their suits
(Image Lloyd ZX suit but in purple with the shoulder amour being black and the crown on the mask also being black)
The five ninja standing in their new suits admire them
"Alright. This stuff feels like it'll really protect us." Cole said
"Yet, provides more mobility." Zane said
"You wanna strut on the catwalk, or get down to that amusement park so we can go on some rides?." Jay asked
"I love a good old fashion roller coaster, but nothing beats this." Kai said as they jumped off the bounty and use their vehicles to land, (Y/N) grabs on Jays jet as they flew down, as they land they pose to show off their new uniforms
"Haha! Check that out, and not a scratch on me." Cole said as they see a crowd cheer
"Haha ladies, relax, we have arrived." Jay said as they pass through only to see the serpentine already tied up
"Uh. What just happened?." Kai asked as a woman looked at him
"Oh, you totally missed it. There were like, icky snakes, and then this mysterious Samurai came in and saved everyone."
"He was like, gorgeous." Another woman said
"You saw his face?." Kai asked
"No but we could totally tell."
Jay notices Nya arriving
"Nya, you're here." Jay said surprised
(Y/N) walked up to her
"You like the new suits? I think these are a massive improvement." (Y/N) said as he flipped his cowl over as Nya smiled
"I think it looks good on you (Y- I mean you guys look great." Nya said instantly blushing as (Y/N) looked confused but smiled anyways
"Heard what the samurai did?." (Y/N) asked
"Yeah, you just missed all the action. He just flew in, took care of business, and then flew off. It was pretty cool." Nya said smiling
"I'll bet." (Y/N) smiled
They soon heard a kid speak
"I don't wanna be a ninja. I wanna be a Samurai."
"The samurai is my new hero." A man said
"I knew the samurai could kick the ninjas butts." Another man said much to the ninjas annoyance
"Ugh who is this guy?." Kai asked
"Whoever he is, he's stealing our thunder." Cole said annoyed
"And we just got these cool new ninja suits. Argh! I'm gonna say it. I hate Samurai!." Jay yelled as Nya looked slightly upset
"Well, I like this Samurai." (Y/N) said as everyone looked at him
"Dude, have you been hit in the head or something? Were this city's protectors, not him, us." Cole said
"Well, having another hero could do so much wonders to us." (Y/N) said as Wu walked up holding cotton candy
"Do I hear a hint of jealousy? Maybe this can be a lesson for you four." Wu said much to the others annoyance
"Oh! Not another lesson. Hey how'd you get here so quick?." Jay asked
"The lesson is iron sharpens iron." Wu said ignoring Jay, while Zane looked confused
"I do not follow Sensei." Zane said
"Healthy competition can help you reach your True Potential faster. Do not be jealous of this Samurai, let it inspire you. Oh, Ferris wheel!." Wu ran towards the Ferris wheel
"Inspire?." Jay asked
"Wait a minute. Maybe the old man's right." Kai said as (Y/N) glared at Kai for calling Wu Old
"You want us to compete with the samurai? He's got all the cool gadgets, we don't stand a chance." Cole explained
"No, not with him, with us. I say we turn this into our own competition. Whichever of us is skilled enough to catch this mysterious Samurai is probably the best of the bunch." Kai explained
"So whoever learns the identity of this samurai is the one who will become the destined Green Ninja. Ha! I love it." Jay said enthusiastically with the others agreeing
"Then It's a bet. May the Green Ninja win." Cole said as the pulled up their cowls and raised their weapons
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled until they realised (Y/N) stayed out
"You wanna help us uncover the identity of the Samurai?." Jay asked
"No thanks." (Y/N) said smiling
"More for us then." Jay shrugged
As the four others left Nya walked up to (Y/N)
"Yeah what's up?." (Y/N) smiled as Nya played with her hair
"Do you.... I don't know, wanna go on the Ferris wheel with me?." Nya asked smiling slightly blushing
"I would love to Nya, but I promise Lloyd I would bring him here." (Y/N) said as Nya looked sad but smiled again
"You're a sweet boy (Y/N), I understand." Nya smiled
"But next time, we can go together." (Y/N) smiled at Nya who nodded before walking away with a smile still
(Y/N) smiled as he watched the girl leave before going to the bounty and getting Lloyd

A while later an alarm blares on the bounty
"Multiple snake sightings! They're everywhere!." Nya yelled as Zane rushes to fight the snakes in the snow region, only to find the Samurai who already defeated the snakes
"Huh?." Zane looked confused as the Samurai left
"Metal menace!." Zane threw a snowball only for it to miss

In the forest of Tranquillity, Kai encounters the Constrictai
"Go ninja go!." The girls cheered only for the Samurai to catch them with a net
"Oh, samurai, oh." The girls said swooned
"Ninja! Go!." Kai yelled trying to attack the samurai only to be caught in a net as well
"Ahh! Hey! What's going on?." Kai asked while he dangled

Later the samurai fights off more snakes as Cole arrived
"Now I've got you. Uhh haha! Woah!." Cole yelled as he lost the samurai

Jay in women's clothing and holding a blonde wig, jumps onto a dome train tracks and lies down as the train approaches
"Help! Samurai, where are you? Oh!." Jay cried for help as a girl
The Samurai X mech soon appeared as replaced the train tracks, Jay looks shocked as the train passes by the new track, the mech soon took off with Jay being angry
"Gah! STUPID SAMURAI!." Jay yelled in his normal voice

Meanwhile some Hypnobrai tried to attack some random villagers, they cower only for the Purple Ninja to arrive and punch them back
"Behind you!." The male villager cried out as a Fangpyre went to bite him, only for the samurai to save him at the last second by kicking him away
"Thanks Samurai, it's nice to see another hero around here." (Y/N) said as he raised a hand for the Samurai who took it
"I'll handle these guys and place them into a safe location where they won't cause any more harm, thanks again." (Y/N) waved as the Samurai hopped inside their mech and flew off
"Get him!." Cole yelled as they dog piled onto (Y/N) who groaned
"Can you get off me now?." (Y/N) asked as they hopped on him
"Samurai!." The four ninja yelled out as (Y/N) sighed

Later Kai drops Lloyd off at a kiddie arcade
"Okay, I know it's my turn to look after you, but just play a few games and stay put while I look around. I have a feeling the Samurai may show up." Kai said as he handed Lloyd some coins
"Oh, let me help." Lloyd begged
"No. Besides (Y/N) will kill me if anything happens to you." Kai said
"Come on. At least drop me off at a decent arcade." Lloyd groaned
"Sorry shorty." Kai apologised as he drove away
"Kai wait!." Lloyd yelled out before looking down and going inside the arcade, but before he entered he overheard the serpentine, Lloyd peeked over a wall and saw them
"I hear he found it. And everyone is gathering again." Skales said as he stood next to a bus where multiple snakes reside
"Impossible, The Lost City does not exist." Fang-Suei said in disbelief
"Well, it isn't lost anymore. Haha. And I heard there's gonna be a fight." Skales said as they looked intrigued
"A fight? Count me in." Fang-Suei said as the snakes started boarding
"All aboard, next stop. Ouroboros." Skales announced as Lloyd quickly bought a serpentine disguise, he then walks onto the bus
"Hey, you, hold it there." Skales stopped Lloyd who looked worried
"Huh?." Lloyd asked worried
"Last one in closes the door." Skales said as Lloyd nodded
"Uh, sure thing." Lloyd said closing the door as the bus leaves, it drives through the desert for the day and as they arrive it turns to night just as they arrive to the city, they pile onto the chairs and sit around while Pythor and Skales talk in the back
"Just do as I've said, and I promise you will be my second in command. Forever." Pythor said as they put cotton in their ears, they soon emerge to the crowd
"I bring you together to the lost City of Ouroboros, before the statue of our very own Great Devourer, to speak of unity." Pythor said as the crowd got restless
"Where are the fights?." Bytar asked
"Where is the big show?." Spitta asked
"Slither pit! Slither pit! Slither pit!." They yelled much to Pythors annoyance
"Argh! You want a show? You want to see a fight? I ask for your allegiance but you will not give it. So I will take it." Pythor said as everything went accordingly to plan
"What are you saying?." Fangtom asked
"I challenge the four tribe generals for their staffs and their allegiance. At once!." Pythor challenged
"I fought hard for this staff and will not give it up easily." Acidicus said as he got defensive
"There's no way he can defeat the four of us at once." Skalidor said as they approached him, unknowing that Skales had passed the Sacred Flute and Pythor plays it
"Oh, he's using the Scared Flute against his own." Lloyd said as they generals covered their ears
"My ears!." Skalidor yelled
"It hurts! Acidicus yelled in pain as they threw their staffs onto the ground, Skales pretends to be in pain as he throws the staff on the ground as well
"Bow to your master. Bow to your master Serpentine!." Pythor yelled out to the crowd who bowed, Lloyd tries to but he drops his rattles, this causes the snakes to look at Lloyd as he tries to leave, only for Mezmo to grab him
"Where do you think you're going?." Mezmo asked as he took off the disguise
"Lloyd?." Pythor asked surprised as Lloyd gulped

The next day, the ninja and Nya fly in the bounty
"Trying to find out the Samurais identity is more of a nuisance than the snakes. Any luck with you?." Cole asked
"The guys elusive. He's like a ghost. One moment he's there, the next he's gone." Jay said
"I'm starting to believe we might never catch him." Zane said losing hope
"I think it's safe to say, none of us are closer to proving we're the Green Ninja." Kai groaned as Wu and (Y/N) entered
"Looks like iron is sharpening iron. I feel you are getting closer to your True Potential." Wu said as he lightly squeezed Cole's arm
"Ow!." Cole yelled in pain
"Hey, where's Lloyd? I'm meant to be helping him with chores." (Y/N) asked looking around
"I thought Cole was gonna pick him up." Kai said
"I went to the arcade, but he wasn't there, Jay was-
"Don't bring me into this. I babysat yesterday." Jay defended himself
"Sensei, (Y/N) we have not seen him." Zane said
"Okay, I'm just going to go into the other room for a second, please excuse me." (Y/N) said taking a deep breath before walking outside and screaming
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!."
They looked at each other before (Y/N) walked inside
"Much better, thank you." (Y/N) said as they looked worried before Wu cleared his throat
"We must find the boy." Wu said

They arrive near the arcade and look around
"Lloyd? Lloyd? He was right here. Someone must have seen him." Kai said as (Y/N) groaned
"A whole day passed, why would he still be here, the poor kid must be scared." (Y/N) said as he looked around
"Hey guys check this out." Cole pointed at a security camera, they watched the footage and saw Lloyd walking inside the Arcade before leaving and going down an alleyway with a snake disguise
"Wait, wait,  there's the pipsqueak. Play that back." Jay said as they rewatched the footage
"What is he up to?." Jay asked
"My guess, serpentine." (Y/N) said crossing his arms as they made it back to where Lloyd was
"I sense these are Lloyd's footprints, but they come to an end here. Why?." Zane asked as he inspected the area
"Something tells me we're going for a ride." Kai said as they saw tire tracks, they got into their vehicles as they head to the city of Ouroboros
"What is this place?." Cole asked
"Looks like a snake city." Zane said
"Not just any city, the lost city of Ouroboros." (Y/N) said as they looked at him
"What?." Kai asked
"Long story short, Wu told me a story about a lost city full of snakes that went missing a long time ago, seems like Pythor found it." (Y/N) said
"Well then, let's get a closer look." Kai said as the got closer to the city
"I know we ruined their last get-together, but that's no reason to not get an invitation. My feelings are hurt." Cole said faking his sadness as they snuck in unsuspected
"There's Lloyd." Kai whispered as he pointed at a cage Lloyd was in
"Oh Pythor messed with the wrong kid." (Y/N) said as he went to attack but Cole stopped him
"Slow it tiger, let's just inspected the area first." Cole said
"Woah, look at who they worship." Jay pointed at a statue
"Let me guess, the Great Devourer." Cole said
"All the more reason to get Lloyd out of here, this comes to an end today." Kai said
"I couldn't agree more with you." (Y/N) said as they ran out, only to be trapped and lose their golden weapons and (Y/N) Sais
"The ninja." Lloyd gasps
"Looks like we've caught the main event." Pythor laughed as they are brought into the arena
"Main event? What do you think he meant by main event?." Jay asked
"I have a feeling we're the main event." Kai said
"Oh you don't say." (Y/N) said as got defensive for whatever happened
"Or the main course." Cole said
"Kai, you may be right. Things really may come to an end today." Zane said
"Uh, don't worry. The samurai could still come around to save us." Jay said hopeful
"Oh now you want the Samurais help." (Y/N) spoke annoyed
"You say you wanted a battle, and I give you one. I give you ninja versus Samurai!." Pythor yelled as the Samurai walks out in chains
"What? We have to fight the Samurai? But we don't even have our Golden Weapons and he has that hulking thing of armour. It's not fair." Jay groaned as they walked back
"I want to see once and for who is the greatest hero, is it Samurai or ninja? Only the victor will be allowed to leave." Pythor explained
"Stay together." Kai said as they grouped together
"Perhaps he can join our team to fight our way out? After all, he hates the Serpentine too." Zane said
"What makes you think the Samurai help you after everything you've done?." (Y/N) asked as the Samurai attacked them
"Yeah (Y/N) is right, scratch that, he is not on our team." Cole said as they dodged
"Haha, missed me!." Jay laughed as he got hit
"Tornado of creation?." Zane suggested as (Y/N) sighed
"Some days I wish I could do Tornado of creation instead of the Tornado of Destruction." (Y/N) sighed
"Sorry (Y/N)." Zane apologised
"Earth!."
"Fire!."
"Ice!."
"Lightning!."
"Ninja! Go!." They yelled as they created the Tornado, grabbing all the materials, weapons and candy and make a slingshot and fires at the Samurai who blocks it, just as Pythor activated spikes
"Argh! Why can't anyone play fair?!." Jay yelled as Pythor tilted the arena
"I wish we used the Tornado of Destruction instead." Kai sighed
"But it is uncontrollable, only the strongest can control it." Zane explained as they grabbed onto the spikes
"Can this get any worse?." Cole asked
"We must continue to make it appear that we are fighting for real." The Samurai said as everyone but (Y/N) looked surprised
"Huh, we're not fighting for real?." Jay asked
"Keep up the charade and hold onto my exo-suit." The Samurai said as they hopped on to fly away
"There's too much weight!." Kai yelled as the Samurai jumps off, so did (Y/N)
"(Y/N)!." They yelled as they flew away
"I can't believe he just saved us." Cole said in disbelief
"He stole our thunder again!." Kai yelled about the Samurai
"ARGH! I HATE THAT SAMURAI!." Jay yelled as they flew away
"Go ninja, go!." Lloyd cheered as (Y/N) ran to the cage and tried to break it
"Get them!." Pythor commanded as the serpentine ran towards the Samurai and (Y/N)
"Magnetiser activated." Samurai said as the samurai steals the Golden weapons and covers them quickly before looking at (Y/N)
"We need to leave!." The samurai yelled as (Y/N) looked apologetically at Lloyd
"I'll get you out as soon as possible. I'm sorry." (Y/N) said as he shed a small tear as he jumped away from Lloyd and grabbed onto the Samurai as they flew off
"I know." Lloyd whispered sadly as he looked down as Pythor got frustrated
Meanwhile on the Exo-suit the ninja try to shut the mech off
"How do you turn this thing off?!." Kai yelled as he pressed a button which sends the suit swan diving into the desert separating Kai from the trio
"Where's Kai?." Jay asked
Kai lands his head in the sand before pushing out and looking around
"Guys? Huh? The Samurai? And (Y/N)?." Kai asked as he ran over
"I'm sorry (Y/N)." The samurai said as the helmet short circuits for a sec
"Here." (Y/N) said taking the helmet off revealing it to be Nya
"Nya?." Kai asked as (Y/N) froze with Nya
Nya puts the helmet back on
"Steer clear ninja! Don't look...
Nya takes the helmet off again
"At me." Nya said sadly
"I don't understand. You're the samurai? And how did (Y/N) know it was you?." Kai asked confused
"It's always a boys club. You never let me try to help. But (Y/N) did, so we found a way to make me a hero. Are you mad?." Nya asked
"Mad? Of course not. It's just, all this time, I've been trying to protect you and you've never needed it. You're amazing." Kai smiled as Nya punched his arm
"Girl power. You're not gonna tell the other are you?." Nya asked
"But we had a bet. We said whoever caught the Samurai would be the Green-
Kai then sighs
"Of course I won't say anything. How'd you make all this stuff?." Kai asked
"You'd be surprised how much spare time I have waiting for you guys to come back from your missions, and (Y/N) has been secretly helping me for a while now." Nya said much to Kai's surprise
"You've been helping her?." Kai asked surprised
"I always felt bad for her not being able to help, so I helped her with the idea of becoming a Samurai, remember that parcel I got back at the monastery? That was full of stuff for Nya." (Y/N) said as he looked at Nya who smiled back, kai looked surprised but then smiled
"You better head back before anyone gets suspicious. We'll have to rescue Lloyd another day." Nya said as she gives them the weapons
"Nya, whenever I get in trouble. The other four always have my back. But you... just be careful will you?." Kai asked as Nya smiled
"Promise." Nya smiled
"But how are you gonna get back?." Kai asked
"I have my ways." Nya said as she pressed a button in her helmet
Meanwhile the others looked for Kai
"Kai?." Jay called out
"Kai?." Zane called out as the mech stood up
"Quick. Get it. It's gonna get away!." Jay yelled as the mech flew off
"Great. Now we lost Kai, (Y/N) and the samurai suit gone. And we have no way to get home." Jay groaned
"I wouldn't say that." Cole said as Kai and (Y/N) returned with the weapons

They all returned to the bounty and are brushing their teeth
"He was all mysterious. Never said a word. Then handed me the Golden Weapons and poof. He was gone." Kai said telling them everything without mentioning Nya
"Poof? He just poofed?." Cole asked
"Woah woah woah. Wait a minute, Kai. If the samurai had his hands on the most powerful weapons in the whole wide world, why would he just give them back to you and (Y/N)?." Jay asked
"I'm, I don't know. Maybe she- I mean he's not so bad after all. All I do know is that we owe him our lives. Maybe he had made us all a little better." Kai said
"I told you guys to give the Samurai a chance, and look at that, Mr hothead sees that as well." (Y/N) said as Kai glared at him before smiling
"I sense this means the bet is off." Zane said
"More importantly, my nephew has found his way into the den of all snakes. I fear there may be no way of rescuing him now." Wu said sadly
"Sensei, there's always a way." Kai said
"And don't worry. We'll find it." Cole said
"Yeah, we will, Lloyd is family and family will always have family's back." (Y/N) said as they smiled at each other
As Wu leaves he goes to Nya
"I think you forgot this." Wu said as he give her a samurai weapon
"Iron sharpens iron, and siblings sharpens siblings." Wu said as Nya smiles before heading into her room

A little later in the night (Y/N) can't fall asleep worrying about Lloyd, he gets up to grab some water and see Wu meditating
"I sense your worry for Lloyd." Wu said not opening his eyes as (Y/N) sighs
"That obvious?." (Y/N) said as he drank the water
"Don't worry, we will get him back one day." Wu said as (Y/N) nodded before going to bed again
As he left Wu hummed
"I sense a strong bond between the two boys, as if destiny had wanted the two to meet. Father, is this your work?." Wu asked himself as he continued to meditate
