Season 2 Episode 19: Wrong Place, Wrong Time

On the Destiny's Bounty, the ninja are training Lloyd
"Your new body is a fighting instrument. Listen to it." Wu said as the session begins
"Remember Lloyd, your powers grow stronger along side your new body, control it." (Y/N) said as Lloyd dodges each attack while his eyes are closed, he dodges Zane shurikens, they hit a water melon Nya carries, she glares at Zane who gasps, (Y/N) rushes over to her and make sure she's okay
"Are you okay?." (Y/N) asked as Nya smiled
"I'm fine, such a gentleman." Nya smiled as (Y/N) sighed in relief, Nya then walks over to Wu
"Since he's grown, he's learning faster, Sensei." Nya said
"But will it be enough to challenge Lord Garmadon? Only time will tell." Wu said as Kai draws his sword, Lloyd blocks the attack but doesn't stop the attack and falls over
"Hahaha, you're getting pretty good, but that move you fell for was basic 101." Kai chuckled as Lloyd got up
"Yeah, if I had focused more when I was little, I would've seen that coming." Lloyd saidside hugs him
"Dude, ever since you've grown you've gotten way more mature, I kinda miss the little rebellious kid I knew." (Y/N) said as the duo smiled at each other, Wu then walked to Lloyd
"We cannot change the past, but we can improve for the future. Again, this time, do not hold back." Wu said
The Falcon squawks as it returns to the bounty
"The Falcon has returned with troubling news, what did you see, my mechanical-feathered friend?." Zane asked as the Falcon showed Garmadon and the serpentine at the City of Ouroboros
"The Lost city of Ouroboros!." Nya pointed out
"Woah, I forgot about that place ever since.....
(Y/N) looked at Wu who looked sadly back
"Garmadon had returned to the Serpentine home base, but why?." Kai asked
"Looks like they're preparing for a final battle." Cole said
"Nya, change course. Well head straight for them." Wu said
"This is it Lloyd, everything we've learned, it's time." (Y/N) said as Lloyd nods
The ninja suit up and arrive to the city at night
"More firepower! When we attack the ninja, they won't see it coming. Our forces will be so strong, Ninjago and the Purple Ninja will be mine!." Garmadon yelled as Fang-Suei used a blow torch in his Mega Weapon, making him pull it away
"Aargh!." Garmadon screamed as the ninja arrived
"Ninja! Go!." Wu yelled
"Oh, brother!." Garmadon yelled upon seeing his brother
"It's time we finished this!." Wu yelled
"Ugh!." The ninja groaned
"Bring it on, fools!." Garmadon yelled as Lloyd jumps in and freezes the Mega Weapon
"Aargh! Lloyd? Is that you?." Garmadon asked in shocked upon seeing his son grown
"Yeah, I've grown a little since the last time you saw me, dad." Lloyd glared at Garmadon
"Stop him!." Garmadon yelled as (Y/N) fired his powers at Garmadon who swiped the Mega Weapon at the power, he then runs away into a chamber and breaks the ice
"Blast these ninja! If only they weren't around. If only they never existed! Ugh! Yes, yes, that's it! I wish I could go back in time, and make it so the ninja were never formed in the first place!." Garmadon yelled as the weapon makes a time portal
"Now to finish the ninja once and for all, so that my son never become the Green Ninja, and I finally can acquire my nephew as my apprentice!." Garmadon yelled as he jumped through the portal as the ninja entered the chamber
"He used the Mega Weapon again!." Cole yelled
"Oh, swell. Every time he uses that thing, something really bad happens. Now what?." Jay asked as the ground starts to rumble and turn into sand
"What's going on?." Kai asked
"Is the city sinking?." Jay asked
"Worse. The city's returning back into the desert, as if it had never been found in the first place." Zane said
"Uh, what? What does that mean?." Kai asked
"What's happening?." Nya asked
"It means Garmadon went back in time! Oh no, he's trying to prevent Lloyd from becoming the Green Ninja and turn me as his apprentice!." (Y/N) yelled as Lloyd starts fading out
"I can't... I can't feel my hands." Lloyd said as (Y/N) looked at his and saw he was fading too
"And we're running out of time!." (Y/N) yelled
"Uh, ugh! We have to go in!." Kai yelled
"If he changes anything, he changes everything! Protect the future ninja!." Wu yelled as the ninja excluding Lloyd jumped in the portal

The ninja fall back in time and land in a muddy puddle in Ignacia village
"Woah!." They yelled as they fell
"Ugh." Kai groaned
"Remind me to pack a helmet next time we time travel." Jay groaned
"That's if there's a next time." (Y/N) groaned
"Where are we?." Cole asked
"You mean when are we?." Zane corrected as they spotted the four weapons shop
"Four Weapons. Ha! My parents shop. Nya and j used to work there. Hey wait a minute, this is the day Garmadon ordered the skeletons to take my sister. We need to warn them!." Kai yelled as he went to go but Cole stopped him
"Woah! Woah! You heard what Sensei said, we change anything, we change everything." Cole said
"Yeah, I was confused by that too." Jay said
"What's to be confused by? He said if we change anything, the future changes too." (Y/N) said
"So what you're saying is we gotta stop Garmadon from changing anything? But of all the times, why did we land here?." Jay asked
"Because, this was our origin to how we became a team." (Y/N) said
"(Y/N)'s right, this was the day I met Sensei Wu for the first time and began my training as a ninja, somehow Garmadon is gonna try to prevent that, but how?." Kai asked
"He'll find a way, he always does." (Y/N) crossed his arms as Cole sighed
"If only Sensei were here to guide us." Cole sighed as Jay spots Wu
"Oh, look, there he is! Maybe he can!." Jay pointed at Wu
"We gotta tell him what Garmadon has done." Cole said
"But we can't let the old Kai and Nya see that we talked to him, or else it will affect the future." Zane explained
"This complaints things, good thing were ninja, we can sneak around." (Y/N) said as Kai got an idea
"I know exactly what to do." Kai said smirking, as the ninja climb the stairs just as past Wu and past Kai talk for the first time
"And the shop is called "Four Weapons" not "For Browsing" either buy something or go pedal your insults somewhere else." Past Kai said to Wu as (Y/N) hits Kai
"Hey! Past me not current me!." Kai glared at (Y/N)
"Ha! Too bad. Thought I'd find something special here." Past Wu said as he left, Kai covered his mouth
"Sensei! We need your help!." Kai said much to past Wu's surprise
"Woah, woah, woah. Wait a minute. If we're trying to stop Garmadon from changing anything. Wouldn't talking to Sensei kind of be like altering the past, thus changing our future?." Jay asked
"That would be correct. I believe a big uh-oh is in order." Zane said
"Uh?." Past Wu looked confused as (Y/N) walked up
"Look, what's done, is done, we can't change this so we might as well as use this to our advantage." (Y/N) looked at Past Wu
"All five of you....you...you, and (Y/N)? What are you doing here? Why aren't you in the monastery?." Past Wu asked
"Look, this may sound crazy, but we're from the future, we came back in time to stop something from changing the past, and we need your help." (Y/N) explained
"Can you help us?." Kai asked
"I don't understand how this came to be, but I can try." Wu said
"Okay, any moment now, the skeletons are going to attack and we think Garmadon may try to hurt me- I mean the past me." Kai said
"Garmadon?." Past Wu asked confused
"We have to do everything in our power to protect my past self." Kai said as the Skulkin arrived, but Kai stopped past Wu from interfering
"Oh, oh! Let me go first! Please, oh please? I'm dying to go down there." Past Nuckal pleaded
"You nitwit, you're already dead." Past Kruncha said as Garmadon puts on a skeleton mask
"Why did I ever trust these numbskulls." Garmadon asked himself
"Attack!." Past Samukai yelled as they rushed down to Ignacia, the villagers run away
"What are they?." Past Nya asked
"I don't know. Stay here." Past Kai said as he fights some skeletons
"Well, can we help or not?." Kai asked past Wu who looked confused
"Don't look at me. I'm wise, but not that wise." Past Wu said
"Besides, how should he know? This is probably all new to him as much as it's new to us." (Y/N) said
"Well, technically, since the last has already been altered, I don't see why we can't fight a few skeletons, just as long as your former self never sees you." Zane explained
"Zane you genius." (Y/N) smiled
"Ha, you made my day Zane." Cole smiled
"I miss beating these guys up. Ninja! Go! Haha." Jay smiled as they took out some skeletons
"Watch for when Samukai throws his daggers. And don't forget to save me." Kai said as past Wu looks confused

"I thought I told you to stay back." Past Kai said to Past Nya who fought along side him

"Oops." Past Kai said as past Samukai brought out four daggers
"Sensei!." Kai yelled as past Wu understood
"I'm on it. Ninja! Go!." Past Wu yelled as he used Spinjtizu on past Samukai and saved Kai
"Sensei Wu, your Spinjtizu looks rusty." Past Samukai insulted
"Nothing like bone to sharpen its edge. Samukai." Past Wu said
"Heheheh, aargh!." Past Samukai yelled as he threw his daggers at a nearby water tower making it collapse towards Past Kai
"Oh, no." Past Kai said worriedly as he crawled back a little
"Ninja! Go!." Past Wu yelled as he did Spinjtizu to save past Kai
"Lord Garmoand says take the girl!." Past Samukai yelled as Kruncha gets the bone hand cannon, but Garmadon knocks into Kruncha and makes him miss on purpose
"Ugh, aargh!." Past Kruncha groaned
"Fools! You missed! Retreat!." Past Samukai yelled as Nuckal see two Kai's
"Huh?." Past Nuckal looks confused as he looks between the duo
"What is it?." Past Samukai asked
"Uh, nothing." Past Nuckal shrugged it off as they got away

In the present, Wu is viewing Ninjago City as it gets covered in smoke, a picture with Lloyd disappeared
"Oh my goodness." Wu said shocked

Back in the past, past Kai and Nya embraced
"Oh, this isnt good." Kai said much to past Wu's confusion
"Why? We saved you and your sister." Past Wu said
"No, the skeletons were supposed to get away with Nya. Ah, the only reason you convinced me to become a ninja in the first place was to get her back." Kai explained
"Oh, I see." Past Wu understood
"Sensei, no matter what, you need to convince Kai to go with you." Zane said
"Why?." Jay asked
"Because if Kai doesn't become a ninja, the world we know it won't exist. The five of us will never unite. We'll never train Lloyd to become the Green Ninja. And (Y/N) will become Garmadons apprentice. And if that happens...." Zane doesn't finish as Jay gasps
"NO MATTER WHAT, YOU NEED TO CONVINCE HIM TO GO WITH YOU!." Jay yelled
"Uh... why does my brother want (Y/N) to become his apprentice?." Past Wu asked
"Okay, I know we shouldn't tell you this, but (Y/N) shares Garmadons powers and he wants him to join him in his conquest of darkness." Kai explained as past Wu looks shocked he then sees past Kai approaching and he signals the others to hide
"Thank you for your help. If it wasn't for your Twistitzu or your Tornadzu, my sister might have been taken." Past Kai smiled
"Spinjtizu, uh. Come, we must train. You must become a ninja." Past Wu said
"Hahaha. Sorry, but I got a blacksmith shop to help get back on its feet, so I-
"No. You must come! It is very important that you become a ninja. Because, uh.... We must harness the fire within you!." Wu explained
"Hold on, Kai. Maybe there's a reason this man came into our lives. Father always said the world works in mysterious ways. I think it sounds kinda exciting." Past Nya said
"This is why i love you some days Nya." (Y/N) smiled making sure no one heard him
"Ha, okay. If you wanna become a ninja, fine by me. But I'm only going cause you want to." Past Kai said
"Oh great. He going. We saved the future!." Jay smiled
"Not so fast. We still have to make sure he becomes a ninja in order for everything to get back on track." Zane said
The ninja follow behind the trio as they walked to the monastery

Meanwhile the Skulkin drive away as they came across two trees
"Do you see two trees or one?." Past Nuckal asked
"Two, you imbecile!." Past Kruncha yelled
"Stop following around! We failed our mission and now Lord Garmadon is really going to let us have it." Past Samukai said
"Well, I just wanted to know if I was seeing double. I thought I saw the same ninja twice back there." Past Nuckal said gaining Garmadons attention
"Double? So the ninja followed me here, and they think they can stop me? They are as annoying as they are troublesome! Huh, well, two can play at this game." Garmadon said

At the monastery, past Nya trains while past Kai isn't interested
"You must harness the fire deep within you Kai." Past Wu said as past Kai gets hit by a punching bag
"Ow! Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah." Kai groaned
"Oh, I'm worthless." Kai groaned
"It's like you don't even want to be a ninja." Jay said
"Look I told you, the only reason I became a ninja was to rescue my sister." Kai said
"Selfish and selfless at the same time, I will always be amazed at your antics kai." (Y/N) said
"If Kai doesn't learn to be a ninja, our future will be destroyed." Zane explained
"Ugh, even when Garmadon does something good, it's always evil! Sensei ain't cutting the mustard. Guess it's up to us to get things back on track." Cole said
"I thought you said not to get involved, "change anything, change everything." Jay said
"Wu asked us to play the game by its rules, well the rules have just changed." (Y/N) said
"Bro, that was hardcore." Jay said
"Thanks I've been wanting to say that." (Y/N) smiled
"And I've got a plan, in order for Kai to get his motivation back, we have to kidnap Nya and deliver her into the hands of the skeleton." Zane explained as Kai sighed
"If that's what it takes. Okay, but if it's alright with you guys. I've got an idea on how I could talk some sense into myself." Kai said
"And I need to stop myself, I can't allow myself to be caught before our introduction." (Y/N) said as they nodded

At night time, everyone expect for Kai is present
"Alright, you guys sneak inside and sneak Nya out, while i wait out for myself." (Y/N) said as they nodded before putting skeleton masks on before sneaking in
"Time to play our parts." Cole said
"We'll have to act quickly while Kai is keeping himself busy and while (Y/N) distracts himself." Zane explained
Meanwhile both Kai's are in the bathroom, present Kai takes off the mirror and copies his past movements
"Huh?." Past Kai looked confused as he breaths in the mirror to try and clean it
"Hey, dummy!." Kai said as past Kai screamed
"Ah!." Past Kai screamed
"Yeah, I'm talking to you." Kai said
"Me?." Past Kai looked confused
"Would you get your head on straight and start listening to Sensei? The fate of the world kind of rests on it." Kai explained to his last self

Meanwhile outside on the rooftop above, (Y/N) waits infront of the roof of the monastery
"I was waiting for you." (Y/N) said as his past self holds his Sais pointed towards (Y/N)
"Listen to me, and listen closely, I don't know what you want or why you're here, but whatever it is, you better leave now." Past (Y/N) glared
"Trust me, you will thank me one day." (Y/N) said

Meanwhile inside the others grabbed Nya
"Unhand me skeletons!." Nya yelled inside of a bag
"Oh I'm sorry Nya." Jay apologised
"How'd you know my name? Oh, when my brother finds out about this, you'll be sorry!." Nya yelled
"Actually he'll be quite relieved." Cole said as Zane spots themselves
"Huh, guys, we've got company." Zane said
"Better lower our masks so they don't recognise us." Cole said as they fought themselves
"Let's not hurt ourselves, boys." Jay said as he fought himself, Zane puts away his shurikens
"I'd hate to leave a mark." Zane said
"Kai! Help!." Past Nya yelled as past Kai heard
"Huh, Nya!." Past Kai yelled as he went to run out
"Hey! I wasn't done talking to you. You can't leave." Kai glared at his last self
"Why not? You're just my reflection!." Past Kai yelled as Kai knocked him unconscious
"Sorry, but I can't have you spoiling our plans." Kai said as he goes to help the ninja

Meanwhile outside, (Y/N) pins past (Y/N)
"I'm so sorry but you'll understand why I did this one day!." (Y/N) yelled as past (Y/N) grunted
"Get off me skeleton!." Past (Y/N) yelled as he punched (Y/N) in the jaw
"Oh jeez! That hurts!." (Y/N) yelled as he threw his past self into another part of the roof
He soon heard the ninja jump out and Kai jumps onto the roof
"Guys uh, let's get out of here." Kai said in a deep voice as they escape with past Nya
"You'll understand dude. One day." (Y/N) said as he jumped away
"They took Nya!." Past Wu yelled as past Kai awakens
"Huh? They took my sister? NOOOOOO!." Past kai yelled

In the present, Lloyd regains his picture and Wu sighs in relief

In the past, past Wu reassured past Kai
"We'll get your sister back. But first, I want you to meet your team." Past Wu said as the past four ninja took off their masks
"Wait, who's the other guy?." Past Jay asked referring to past (Y/N)
"Looks like the fire returned." Kai said
"All we gotta do to get everything back on track is to deliver Nya to the skeletons." Cole said
"Sorry about this Nya, but it's for the greater good." (Y/N) said

In a forest, the Skulkin set up camp, past Samukai hits past Kruncha
"Hey!." Past Kruncha yelled
"This is no time to celebrate, we didn't get the girl. How would you like to go back to the underworld to tell Lord Garmadon that we failed?." Past Samukai asked as past Kruncha walks away
"How would you tell Lord Garmadon that we failed? Mimimimi!." Past Kruncha mocked as past Nya screamed as she is dropped, he checks the bag and sees past Nya struggling
"Uh, Samukai? How would you like to go back to the Underworld to tell him we succeeded?." Past Kruncha asked

At the underworld, past Samukai and past Garmadon converse
"Master, we have the girl." Past Samukai said
"Good." Past Garmadon laughs evilly, Samukai leaves and Garmadon approaches him
"Hmm? What is the meaning of this?." Past Garmadon asked
"It is I, your future self!." Garmadon introduced
"How can it be?." Past Garmadon asked
"I know you are searching for the Golden Weapons, and it is because of them that I have gone back in time and stand before you now." Garmadon explained to his last self
"I don't understand. You have....uh I have four arms." Past Garmadon looked confused
"Yes, and I need your help to get rid of the ninja once and for all. Listen carefully." Garmadon whispers to his past self
"That's truly evil." Past Garmadon chuckled before they both begin laughing evilly, in the present, Wu see the city covered in more smoke
"Great Scott!." Wu yelled

In the past again, the past ninja sleep while the present ninja and past Wu watch over them
"Ugh, why are we still here? I thought everything is back on track?." Jay asked as (Y/N) shushed him
"Shh, my past self is up currently, we can't let him see us remember." (Y/N) said
"Right sorry." Jay whispered
"So what exactly happens next?.' Past Wu asked
"Our former selves have most of the Golden Weapons. Shadow Garmadon now should have my sister. And in about one minute, I get woken up and tricked into taking the sword of fire with (Y/N) that will eventually unleash the greatest nemesis unto Ninjago." Kai explained
"Nya, wait up!." Past Kai follows past Nya, they soon see past (Y/N) follow them from the trees, they followed behind to the Fire temple
"Ah, this is when I steal the fire sword and cut my sister down. Then I get attacked by my own shadow." Kai explained as past Nya is held on a chain above lava which slowly gets lowered
"Ahh!." Nya yelled
"Nya!." Kai yelled
"Tick tock." Past Garmadon said as they saw past (Y/N) got to stop them
"Wu, you have to stop past me from interfering!." (Y/N) yelled as past Wu ran over and stoped him
"Ninja! Go!." Past Kai yelled as he freed Nya, past Garmadon laughs
"Stay close." Past Kai said
"Trust me, I'm not going anywhere." Past Nya said
"You can't hurt us! You're only a shadow!." Past Kai yelled
"This time, I'm actually much more!." Garmadon yelled much to Kai and (Y/N)'s confusion
"He didn't say that before. Somethings different." Kai said

Before (Y/N) could finish his sentence, present Garmadon appears
"G-Garmadon? But you're supposed to be trapped in the underworld." Past Kai spoke surprised and shocked
"Oh, there's so much you don't know." Garmadon said
"Go future me. Destroy him!." Past Garmadon yelled as Garmadon and past Kai fought each other, past Kai was losing
"Ugh, we have to do something. I don't stand a chance against Garmadons four arms, what, that's it!." Kai got an idea as he got in front of his past self
"Two Kai's?." Past Garmadon looked confused
"Yeah." Past Kai smiled
"I guess I have four arms too." Kai said
"Now I've got you." Cole said grabbing his weapon, but Garmadon over powers him
"Ahh! I think it's safe to say the past has drastically changed." Cole said as both Garmadons laughed triumphantly
"Well, so much for not changing everything." (Y/N) said much to past (Y/N) surprise
"I was thinking about that. It could be possible to erase the effects that have transpired so far by destroying the Mega Weapon that brought us here in the first place." Zane explained
"You mean if we destroy that weapon, everything goes back to normal?." Kai asked
"Uh, theoretically." Zane clarified
"But nothing can destroy the Mega Weapon. Only a weapon of equal power has any chance of stopping it." Cole said
"Haha, like maybe the weapons forged to create it in the first place?." Jay asked as he revealed he brought the Golden Weapons
"No!." Garmadon yelled
"The Golden Weapons!." Cole yelled surprised
"Yeah, I thought these might come in handy." Jay said
"Okay, no time to find out how you got these. We have to destroy the Mega Weapon once and for all. Fire!."
"Lightning."
"Earth!."
"Ice!."
"No! What are you doing?!." Garmadon yelled as nothing happened as Garmadon pushed back
"It's not working!." Cole yelled as (Y/N) walked up
"Of course! The true master of destruction!." Kai yelled as (Y/N) eyes turned purple
"Destruction!."
As the five elemental beams struck the Mega Weapon, it overwhelms itself and Garmadon loses control of it, as it gets sent off into space
"Nya! What's happening?!." Past kai yelled as they disappeared, as they ninja get sent back to the present

They stand upon the destiny's bounty once more in the training room, they looked confused
"Did we just, uh...?." Jay asked
"Return to the future?." Kai asked
"This feels familiar, but weren't we training Lloyd?." Cole asked
"Where is Lloyd?." (Y/N) asked
"The future was altered and there is no Green Ninja." Zane said as they looked sadly before hearing panting
"Sorry I'm late guys. Are we ready to get training?." Lloyd asked as (Y/N) hugged him
"Woah! What's going on?." Lloyd asked
"You're still here!." Kai smiled
"Uh yeah, why wouldn't I be?." Lloyd asked confused
"So when we went back in time and destroyed Garmadons Mega Weapon, that didn't change anything?." Jay asked as Kai goes to grab a watermelon
"My father has a Mega Weapon?." Lloyd asked confused
"Wait, if we destroyed it and Lloyd doesn't remember it... that means it worked, we won!." (Y/N) laughed with the four
"Hey, what are you guys laughing at? What's so funny?." Lloyd asked as he carved a Dragon on his slice of watermelon
"Hahaha, I think some things are best left in the last. Come on, let's just prepare for the future." Kai said as everyone laughs
"I don't get it." Lloyd said confused
"It doesn't matter, what matters is we're not going anywhere for a long time." (Y/N) smiled side hugging Lloyd who only smiled
