Season 2 Episode 20: The Stone Army

In the City of Ouroboros which has returned to its normal state, two Venomaris battle in the Sliterpit, a rattlecopter interrupts the fight, they run off as Chokun runs over and sets up a carpet, and puts an umbrella in a cocktail of Garmadon
"Yep. Ready!." Cokun yelled as Garmadon exited the copter, he covered his eyes as he walks to a chair and sits down, taking the cocktail from Chokun
"Ah, it's so bright. I never understood how your kind could live in such heat." Garmadon said blinded by the light as the generals slithered over
"Lord Garmadon, what brings you to our humble dwelling?." Skalidor asked
"The ninja may have destroyed my Mega Weapon, but I have an ingenious new plan." Garmadon said
"Are we sssstill allowing him to be in charge of us?." Skales whispered to Skalidor
"Earlier, when pirates mutinied our ship and locked us in the brig, Captain Soto's journal mentioned they have been looking for a fabled dark island created out of evil itself. Once we find it, its concentrated dark powers will help me- I mean us! We could rule Ninjago together!." Garmadon explained
"Oh please. You're having us chase after fairy tales now?." Skales asked annoyed
"Not fairy tales, but a real place that existed long before any of us were around. A place full of untold power." Garmadon said
"Untold power? Count me in!." Skalidor yelled
"A place dripping with evil." Garmadon said as the three generals get intrigued
"Evil. Sounds nice!." Skalidor said
"I'm looking for a few brave snakes. Who'll join me?." Garmadon asked as the three generals approached
"Aye!." Fangtom, Acidicus and Skalidor yelled as Skales groaned
"Oh!." Skales groaned as they got back into the Rattlecopter and flies away

On the Bounty, the ninja sleep as an alarm clock starts blaring waking them up
"Ugh." Cole hits his head on the top bunk
"Uh, aah!." Jay screamed as he fell off his bed
Kai throws something at the clock which falls into the gramophone and makes it louder then before, the ninja groans, Zane sleeps through it, (Y/N) sits up and blasts it with his powers which destroys the clock and gramophone
"Is it Monday already?." Lloyd asked sitting up
"It is unfortunately." (Y/N) groaned as he rubbed his eyes
"Sunrise exercise. I hate sunrise exercise." Jay groaned as he got up, Wu then walks in with a mini-gong
"Ah, good morning, morning, morning! Up, up! It's a new day, students. Before we begin sunrise exercise, I noticed the dragon made another mess outside. It looks like a two-person job, hehe." Wu chuckled
"Uh, what was that, Sensei?." Cole asked
"Did I hear an SOS call come in?." Kai asked
"I sense I need to be somewhere else." Zane said
"Uh, none specific excuse!." (Y/N) said
"Lloyd, haha, sure you got this, heh." Jay chuckled
"Aww, you might've been able to dump chores on me when I was smaller, and (Y/N) might of had to take over with certain chores when I wasn't able to, but I'm grown up now, and that's no fair!." Lloyd yelled as Kai sighs
"You're right, Lloyd. We need to settle this like men. With a round of Rock, Paper, Clamp! Okay, on three! One, two, three!." Kai yelled as Lloyd choose rock but everyone chooses paper
"Haha, Paper beats rock!." Jay laughed as Lloyd groans, they walked outside where the dragon was as he prepares to clean the dragon
"How does paper beat rock? I always have to do the dirty work." Lloyd groaned
"Lloyd, it's okay, really, I can do it for you." (Y/N) said as he puts a hand on his shoulder
"(Y/N), Lloyd lost fair and square, he will clean up the dragon." Kai said
"And having a pet dragon requires a lot of responsibility." Cole said as Lloyd sighed
"Didn't your mom ever let you have a pet?." Jay asked Lloyd
"I don't remember my mother. She abandoned me when I was really young." Lloyd said as (Y/N) looked sadly at him
"She just left you?." Kai asked
"Just like (Y/N), you guys really don't have the best luck." Jay said sadly
"Who took take care of you?." Kai asked
"I spent my whole life at Darkley's Boarding School." Lloyd said sadly
"Hey, I have a mission for you guys." Nya said as she slides down the Bounty's anchor
"It's the Museum of Ninjago! They've asked for you guys! Something really strange has happened." Nya said
"Woah, that place never stays safe does it?." (Y/N) asked as the four others nodded in agreement while the others looked confused
"What?." Nya looked confused
"Nya what's going on at the museum?." (Y/N) asked getting back on track
"You're gonna have to see it to believe it." Nya said as Lloyd hands her the bag
"Here Nya. Hold this." Lloyd said before they run off
"Wait a minute. What am I supposed to with these?." Nya asked as she looked at the dragon
"Oh." Nya realised
"Sorry Nya! I'll make it up to you!." (Y/N) yelled as they left

The ninja arrived at the museum as the curator walked them around
"Oh, thanks heavens you're here!." The curator thanked as they continued to move
"We heard there was an emergency?." Kai asked
"Yes, come, come. Quickly, this way. The stone warrior exhibit opens to the public tonight, and this couldn't have come at a worse time." The curator said much to their confusion
"What happened? What's going on?." (Y/N) asked
"Yeah, what couldn't have happened at a worse time?." Kai asked
"Ninjago City appreciates your help in destroying the Great Devourer some time back, but it appears it's toxic venom has seeped into the city sewer system and has had the most unusual after-effects." The curator said as they smelled the venom
"Aargh!." The ninja groaned
"Ugh. It stinks!." Kai groaned
"I'm going to be sick!." (Y/N) groaned as the curator opens the door to the gift shop revealing small little stone warriors
"What are those?." (Y/N) asked
"The toxicity in the venom somehow brought our merchandise to life! They're so unruly. I just don't know who else to call!." The curator panicked as Zane gets hit by one of the figurines
"Ah!." Zane groaned
"We've got this covered. I think we can handle a few toys." Jay said
"And please, could you contain the fighting to the gift shop? The doors to the new exhibit will be opening soon. Thank you." The curator said as he closed the doors
"Woah! Stupid little guy!." Lloyd yelled as one of them hits him
"Okay, I got this!." (Y/N) said as he used his powers on the warriors, only breaking a few of them
"Alright, playtimes over, let's do this guys!." Kai yelled doing Spinjtizu destroying some of them
"Ninja! Go!." The three other ninja yelled as they did the same thing, they stop and look at the gift shop which is now destroy
"Oh, we are in so much trouble." (Y/N) said as a stone warrior figure escapes, Wu chases it
"Come here, you little...
Wu stomps on the figure destroying it, he then sees Misako walk out of the other room
"Miskao?." Wu looked confused as Misako looked at him
"Wu." Misako greeted as Wu tried to form a sentence
"I, uh...
"It's been a long time." Misako said as the others approached
"So, uh, you gonna introduce us?." Jay asked
"Uh, yes. This is Misako, Lloyd's mother." Wu introduced as everyone gasps
"My...my mother?." Lloyd asked confused as (Y/N)'s eyes widened
"Ah, Lloyd? My little boy. You're so much bigger than I remember." Misako said before looking at (Y/N)
"(Y/N)? Is that you? It's been so long since i last saw you. You've also grown alot since then."Misako said as (Y/N) looked shocked
"Yeah, well it's been a long time." Lloyd butted in glaring at her
"I didn't want us to meet like this. I have a reason why I've been away." Misako said as Lloyd glared
"Well, I don't wanna hear it." Lloyd walks away
"Lloyd, wait. Please!." Misako called out as Lloyd closes the door behind him

Meanwhile over the Endless Sea, the generals and Garmadon fly over it
"The Endless Sea. I don't get it." Garmadon questioned
"It's because there is no land outside of Ninjago. We've been searching all day." Skales said
"The island must be out there. We'll do another lap." Garmadon said as Skales whispered to the other Generals
"He's without his Mega Weapon. He's vulnerable." Skales whispered
"So how do you recommend getting rid of him?." Skalidor asked as Garmadon talks to Snike
"Turn around. We need to find the island today!." Garmadon yelled
"Yes, Lord Garmadon." Snike obeyed
"Ooh, there! Is that the island?." Skales asked lying
"Where?." Garmadon asked looking out, Skales then pushed him out as Garmadon screams as he fell into the sea
"It's about time we had a Serpentine back in charge! All hail Skales!." Skalidor yelled
"All hail, leader of the Serpentine!." The other generals bowed as Skales laughs maniacally

Meanwhile at the museum, the ninja look out for Lloyd
"Lloyd? Lloyd!." Misako yelled as they find him at the bottomless pit exhibit
"I'd watch your step. That sinkhole doesn't have a bottom son. It's where I found the ancient Stone Warrior." Misako said
"Uh, son? You've been gone my whole life! (Y/N) has been the only parental figure I've ever had! There's nothing you can say." Lloyd said annoyed
"You have?." Misako asked (Y/N) who nodded, Misako smiled before looking at Lloyd and walking to him
"You wanna know that I've been doing all this time? Long before Sensei Wu ever knew who would be the Green or Purple ninja. I knew it would be you and (Y/N). And just knew you both would eventually have to fight your father. Wu had already raised (Y/N) at such an early age but I had to worry about you still, so I dropped you off at the Boarding School so i could go learn everything I could about the prophecy, in hope of one day preventing the final battle. Of good and evil. All this time, son, I've been trying to save you, (Y/N) and your father." Misako explained as (Y/N) looked surprised
"Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjtizu Master-
"Yeah yeah. We've head this story a hundred times." Lloyd spoke annoyed
"But you've only heard half of it. In Ninjago, there has always been balance between good and evil. So you know about how the First Spinjtizu Master created Ninjago, but what if I were to tell you in order for there to be light, there must be shadow, and within shadow, there is darkness. The blackest of darkness that existed from the very beginning. An evil spirit called, The Overlord." Misako said as they looked surprised
"Did you know about this, Sensei?." Zane asked
"I had hoped if I'd kept the secret, that name would never be spoken again." Wu said
"The balance was at stake, and their battle could have gone on for eternity. Each side powerful, neither could conquer the other until the Overlord created his indestructible warriors, the Stone Army. The Spinjtizu Master did what he could, but he knew he would soon be defeated. So instead of losing the war, he divided Ninjago in two. And lucky for us, since then there has been no trace of the Overlord or his Stone Army, until my recent discovery." Misako explained
"So that's why the final battle has yet to be decided. It was never finished." Kai said
"So destroying the Mega Weapon only helped us by a fraction." (Y/N) said
"But where is this Dark Island? I've never heard of it." Cole asked
"Disappeared, I presume. But the legend states that so long as the balance between good and evil remains even, the Overlord shall remain trapped from this world. I have always feared your father's ambitions will ultimately lead to a shift in the balance. That is why he must be stopped." Misako said
"We have each felt the power of the First Spinjtizu Master, passed onto is in the form of the elemental weapons. But now that power has been inherited by the Green Ninja, and (Y/N) has finally gained full control of his powers of destruction now, which is why only Lloyd and (Y/N) can defeat the ultimate evil, or else all of Ninjago will fall prey to its darkness." Wu explained as Misako walked to Lloyd
"Leaving you was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But faced with saving you and the world, I had no other choice." Misako said to Lloyd

Meanwhile at the Stone Army exhibit, the crowd chatters as it opens
"Now ladies and gentlemen, I present to you this museum greatest find. It outdated every other piece we have here, found right underneath this very building. I give you, an ancient Stone Samurai Warrior!." The curator yelled as the crowd wows
"Woah!." The crowd wowed as some Devourer Venom lands on its head, bringing it to life
"It's alive!." A man yelled
"Impossible! It just looks life like." The curator said as he gets picked up by the giant stone warrior and then gets thrown into a pillar, the stone warrior then hears the ninja
"Have you discovered a way to prevent me and (Y/N) from facing my father?." Lloyd asked hopeful
"I'm sorry, not yet. But I have a reason to believe there's still hope." Misako said
"It's okay, we'll find a way." (Y/N) smiled as the Stone Warrior breaks into the room shocking everyone
"WOAH! EXCUSE ME?! Will somebody please tell me, WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!." Jay yelled
"The stone warrior." Misako said
"The Devourers venom had awakened him!." Zane yelled
"Oh great! Kai, take care of him." Cole said much to Kai's surprise
"Uh me? Okay, blockhead. Take this!." Kai yelled as he grabbed his Katana and runs at the Stone Warrior, he then jumps up and slashes his sword onto the warriors sword which exploded upon impact, shattering the katana
"Well, in my minds eye, I saw that playing out entirely differently. Whoa!." Kai yelled as he dodged an attack from the stone warrior
"The Overlord created his stone Army from an indestructible material only found on the Dark Island." Misako said
"Ah, great. You could've mention that earlier." Kai said
"Yeah, that actually would've been quite helpful." (Y/N) said
"Lloyd! (Y/N) use your powers." Wu ordered as they powered up
"You get the first shot Lloyd." (Y/N) said as Lloyd blasted the warrior knocking it back, (Y/N) then blasts the warrior back as well, the ninja cheered only for it to come back slightly cracked
"Wait a minute. How are we supposed to destroy this thing?." Jay asked
"You can't." Misako said worriedly
"Aaahh! Hehe, easy big guy, maybe this is a sign you need to post a few pounds." Jay chuckled
"Dude! Do not try and give the giant stone warrior health tips!." (Y/N) yelled Jay gets pushed back and almost falls into the hole, Wu saves him at the last moment
"Close call!." Jay yelled as the team gets thrown out of the room, Misako groans
"Ah! This is gonna be much harder than a bunch of bobble-heads, fellas." Cole groaned
"Tell me about it." (Y/N) groaned
"Yeah well, then it's a good thing we're in a museum." Jay said
"Why is that?." Misako asked as the stone warrior breaks the doorway
"Cause we're all about to become history! RUN!." Jay yelled as they ran away, the Stone Warrior follows behind
"The guys got a pair of sneakers on him. Pick up the pace, go go go!." Lloyd yelled
"Oh, man. He's pretty fast for a big guy!." Kai yelled as they ran up some stairs and close a door, the warrior breaks in slowly
"This is crazy!." (Y/N) yelled
"Ah, this thing is unstoppable!." Cole yelled
"Indestructible to be precise." Zane corrected
"Not the time Zane!." (Y/N) yelled as the door slowly breaks
"That door ain't gonna hold him forever." Kai said
"Then let's settle this like men. With Rock, Paper, Clamp. Loser has to face him, so that the rest can escape." Jay said as everyone including Lloyd and (Y/N) tried to join in
"Nu-uh, not you two, chosen ones." Jay said stopping them as Kai sighs 
"On three. One. Two-
"Wait a minute, that's it!." Lloyd gets an idea
"What's it?." Kai asked
"If you guys can keep him busy, I think I know how to stop him." Lloyd said
"I say we give the kid a shot." Cole side
"You're just saying that, cause you're too afraid to face him." Jay said
"You wanna face the indestructible stone warrior giant?." (Y/N) asked
"I saw we give the kid a shot." Jay agreed
Lloyd opens a vent
"Be careful Lloyd. And good luck." Misako said as Lloyd smiled
"Thanks mom." Lloyd smiled as he crawled through the air vent
"I can't believe that's Lord Garmadons son." Misako said
"Don't forget, he's yours too." Wu said smiling
"And he's my little cousin." (Y/N) smiled
"Hm, he had a good teacher and cousin." Misako smiled
"You mean, teachers and cousin." Wu said referring to the others

Garmadon meanwhile wakes up on another island other then Ninjago
"Ah, I've been waiting for you." The Overlord said hiding behind the trees
"Who are you? Where are you? What is this place? Where am I? This isn't Ninjago." Garmadon asked
"It is the place you were always meant to find. Destiny brought you here." The Overlord said sinisterly
"This...this is the Dark Island! The one mentioned in Captain Soto's log! But, who are you?." Garmadon asked
"I go by many names, but you may call me Overlord." The Overlord introduced
"I...I order you to give me the power to defeat the ninja! Give me the power to make the Purple Ninja my apprentice! Give me the power to turn Ninjago into my own image!." Garmadon ordered as the Overlord began laughing
"Why do you laugh at me?." Garmadon asked
"Soon, you will have everything you desire, but first, there is something you must do for me." The Overlord said as Garmadon looked confused
"And what would that be?." Garmadon asked

Meanwhile, back in the museum. The ninja try to distract the warrior, Cole cuts some ropes of a skeleton model which falls onto the Warrior
"Woah! Direct hit! Haha!." Jay laughed
"All right!." Kai cheered
"Hey-hey! Did we get him?." Cole asked
"I don't know, that seemed a little too easy." (Y/N) said as the giant warrior emerge from the debris
"He's still here!." Kai yelled
"I knew it!." (Y/N) yelled
"You think Lloyd's ready with his plan?." Zane asked
"I hope so!." Cole yelled as they ran away, Miskao unfortunately trips
"I may not be a ninja, but I can look after myself." Misako said as she slides down a banner, instructing everyone else to do the same, they all hide, Misako hides behind some vases as the giant warrior smashes in, destroying some of the vases, Misako runs over a to pillar and hides, only for the warrior to spot her
"Over here!." Lloyd yelled over to Misako
"Lloyd!." Misako yelled as she runs to him, the warrior follows behind
"Hey loser! Paper beats rock!." Lloyd yelled as it angrily runs towards the duo, Lloyd jumps out of the way with his mother as the warrior almost falls into the pit
"No!." The ninja yelled as (Y/N) glared
"Hey loser!." (Y/N) yelled at the warrior, it looks at him seeing the purple glow from his hands
"One shall stand! One shall fall!." (Y/N) yelled as he fired a blast at the warrior, making it fall down the bottomless pit, screaming before it was no longer visible
"Woah, dude, that was sick." Jay said as (Y/N) puffed
"Thanks." (Y/N) said as Cole helped him up
"Of course, the bottomless pit. I'm so proud of you both. I feel like the balance has brought us together." Miskao said
"Stay with us. Help us fight the good fight." Wu said to Miskao
"If that's okay with my son." Miskao said as loud smiled
"Hey, the more, the merrier." Lloyd smiled as (Y/N) grabbed them in a hug
"New family moment!." (Y/N) said as they laugh

Meanwhile, back on the Dark Island, Garmadon is being lead somewhere by the overlord who stays at a distance
"How much further?." Garmadon grunted 
"Until I say so. You do want to turn all of Ninjago and the purple ninja into your image and apprentice right?." The Overlord asked
"Of course, it's all I've ever wanted!." Garmadon said as he comes across a boulder with four handles
"Four hands. Is that a coincidence?." Garmadon asked
"I told you, it is destiny." The Overlord said
"Whatever." Garmadon said as he rotates the switch's as then island shakes, revealing the rest of it emerging
"The ultimate battle between good and evil has been foretold. And with your help, we will rule this world!." The Overlord yelled as Garmadon laughs evilly
